Next, we ordered a few pies, and from appearance, they looked great, but it felt like they skimped out on the amount of toppings. Maybe they can't put too much on the pies due to the size of them, but it was barely anything. However, what really weakened our experience was the overall taste of the pizza. It was just very bland. We added the hot oil to the pizza, but that wasn't enough to raise the bar. The atmosphere is really great and the service was top-notch. I was really looking forward to some good thin crust pizza. We ordered out about 5 pies (oil, meat lovers, pineapple, margarita, and pepperoni). Everyone was like eh. The best was the oil as my husband said (he ordered that). I had the margarita and it was pretty bland. I would say their crust is good but the flavoring needs a loottt of help. Amazing! Reminds me of colony grills thin crust pizza in Stamford but better. They pack on the toppings and the entire pizza has a great crunch. It's also not very oily so it's still crispy when reheated. I got takeout from for Sunday football that was made very quickly for what I would expect to be a busy day. Staff was friendly and accommodating, taking great COVID precautionary measures. The interior is spacious, clean, and well decorated with a number of tvs to watch the games so I would love to dine here in the future. Wings were also really good. Omg we are addicted. Had it Friday and had to come back today. Was jonesing to try the clam pizza and it was awesome. My wife went for the house salad but with anchovies this time and she loved it. My daughter went for the plain cheese and she enjoyed it as much as Fridays. My boy had the 6 piece buffalo wings Friday and that wasn't enough for a growing 13 year old so he got 6 buffalo and 6 terriaki tonight. So I decided to give Riko's another try and I'm quite happy I did. Last time I was here about a year ago, I didn't love the taste and quality of the pizza. Today, I was very pleased with my meal. I ordered takeout and the staff was extremely warm and welcoming. I ordered a margarita pie which I thought was flavorful, and the sauce was delicious and nicely seasoned. The Caesar salad was great and I like that there are different sizes you can choose from. The wings were good, and enough meat on the bones and a flavorful buffalo sauce. We finally decided to try this place as it always seems to be busy but we will definitely not be returning. We placed a pickup order for two pies, one cheese and one Hawaiian, and the entire experience was horrible, from dealing with rude unprofessional staff who seemed insulted to be asked where to pick up the pies to the the young woman at the register who was more concerned with her phone and conversing with another employee to the pizzas which were burned black on the bottom. It was almost like trying to eat a bland pretzel sprinkled with dollar store grated cheese. I don't like to write bad reviews but I found the entire experience to be one gigantic disappointment.
