I have used the service once now and am really impressed with the quality of service. I got a text asking me if I wanted to schedule a pick-up. A quick "Yes" to the text and my driver showed up on time to get the bags. I sent out almost 17 items, from casual to formal dresses, shirts, and coats. Three days later, I got a text saying that my dry cleaned items were ready for delivery. I responded to the text for a quick scheduling of delivery. A different driver showed up with all my items hanging neatly within a garment bag. Everything was perfectly cleaned, no damage, stains, etc. I would definitely use the service again and recommend it to friends! read more

Most items I will have to rewash because ironing alone will not remove all the wrinkles. 1 of my khakis has a mysterious stain on it. We are also missing 3 socks. read more

What's not to love? Convenience of clean laundry picked up and delivered to your door. They did a nice job washing and folding. It may not have the luxury touch of fancier fluff and fold services that bleach whites or tightly fold laundry so it looks as though its pressed, but for what you pay and the convenience of not running your own laundry errands, it's so worth it!! read more

I love rinse. The service is amazing. The dry cleaning is better than most of the dry cleaners in my neighborhood. The valets are incredibly attentive and responsive. The only issue I have is that their customer contact and customer service. They need to get some bugs worked out. I've had things delivered an hour early and delivered an hour late. I also had a couple things come back with spots but they corrected that issue immediately. Overall it's an amazing service and once they get everything worked out I'm sure I'll be giving them five stars. read more

I use Rinse exclusively for my dry cleaning and have had wonderful experiences every time. When they pick up your items they ask about any marks that needs special attention. I have sent in several pieces with stains on the them and they always seem to be able to get them out! They are flexible about changing pick up/drop off days. Rinse is a scam. Strike 1: They texted me that the pick up was 5 minutes away, but after an hour and a half of waiting, the pick up guy finally shows up. Why text that they are 5 minutes away when they're 90 minutes away? Strike 2: When the clothes show up 3 days later they are stiff, smell weird, and all the colors are faded. Strike 3: When I get the bill, it has a 5 dollar charge for a rush service that I hadn't requested. I contact their customer service, who tells me that if I want a rush delivery they could have it back in 24 hours, but it had been over 24 hours so I shouldn't have been charged for a rush delivery. Their customer service rep tells me that she will add the money that was charged as a credit onto my next rinse "as a token of apology". That's actually robbery. Charging customers for services they did not receive is stealing, and then making them spend more money on your business in order to get back the money that you stole from them, is just a sleazy business practice. This is not a trustworthy business and I urge anyone reading to try a different service. read more

Terrible service. I used Rinse frequently because of the convenience however i will stop using them. The first couple of times it was great..then... I received an underwear and 2 pillowcases that were not mine. I notified Rinse about this and they apologized w/ their standard "this is not the type of customer service...we will credit you $10..." Quite honestly, this is a huge mistake. Someone else's underwear? I began to wonder what items of mine may have gone missing. I started to take inventory of all of my items. On my next Rinse delivery, i received a sweater that wasn't mine! You would think that they would have done a better job ensuring this wouldn't happen to me again. This past week I gave them 2 bags of laundry for next day delivery. The next day I only received 1 bag of laundry. They apologized (which they are great at) and said I would receive my laundry the next day. That was Wednesday. I still have not received it. Unfortunately, the need to do a better job at managing their vendors and ensuring these mistakes don't happen again. I can see from others that their items have been missing as well. I agree with their washing techniques. I do not think they do a great job of washing items. You are better off doing yourself or going to your local wash and fold. read more

I've been using Rinse since I first moved to San Francisco two years ago. I was one of the early customers and the great customer service hasn't missed a step. I work a lot during the week and don't have time to drop off and pick up my dry cleaning, which makes Rinse invaluable. Despite only doing pick-ups on Wednesday and Sunday, the team is very accommodating to my schedule. I've only had a few minor issues over the past two years and they have always been willing to make sure I was completely satisfied, either by providing a refund or fixing the issue. I really appreciate how they take pictures of all the clothes that are picked up and send me an immediate email inventory confirmation so there is accountability on both ends. The only negative thus far is the price per piece, which I compare to other cities, but seems to be about on par for San Francisco. The price of living out here, I guess. I've already recommended Rinse to a number of friends and co-workers and will continue to do so. read more

I really liked this service. There is a cleaners at the end of my block, but I had a discount code for Rinse and the dry cleaning prices were comparable, so I figured why not. I sent 2 blazers ($8/each) and a dress ($11) out on Thursday, and the came back Sunday night. My usual cleaners takes about a week and costs the same. My neighborhood cleaners also closes before I get home fro work, so the flexible pick up/delivery at 8pm-10pm was helpful. Overall I will use this service again. My things came back in a timely manner, clean and nice looking, and for a reasonable price. read more

Amazing customer service. I had a bad experience with Rinse, in that they washed clothes that I wanted dry-cleaned. However, this was due to my own error in using the wrong bag. Despite this, once I raised my concern with the company, they acted quickly and professionally, such that in the end, they refunded me the cost of one sweater which was shrunk, and purchased a brand-new replacement for the other which they were unable to repair. They went above and beyond, and I will certainly continue using their service, just be sure to use the right bag! read more

Rinse is a reasonably good value considering the labor involved, transport, and quality of the service. I use their wash and fold. I don't have a laundry in my building. I gave them a few loads because I kept putting off doing it myself. It was more for a temporary solution. They had a good introductory deal. The result was a very easy transaction. Rinse and their rep were great about picking up times and delivery to 5 minutes. So, I knew what to expect. I sent it off on Monday or Thursday and get it back Thursday or Monday. 15 lbs is the minimum. Their washers/folders did an excellent job on each load. I don't like softeners or fragrances in my laundry. Everything came back clean, smelling fresh, and very nicely folded. The whole process of doing laundry takes me about about 3 hours and a whole lot of prep to have what I need (soap, coins, cash for coin) and hoping machines were working. I generally do laundry at the crack of dawn to beat any crowds. read more

I used Rinse for a few months and they were ok but when they mess up they are REALLY good at it - Once they brought a bag full of my dress shirts STILL dirty and texted me that the were not able to clean them AFTER the fact- One of them was "questionable" because of the buttons so they 'erred of the side of caution" and did not clean any of them. While I know they are simply a delivery service and just take the clothes to commercial washers like the one on Polk street where they charge $1.oo for shirts to not pick up the phone if there are questions is just plain sloppy- Can you imagine the unpleasant surprise to find a bag of dirty laundry hanging from my front door? This happened AGAIN about a week ago and I was told that their "partner" refused to clean my shirts because they smelled like moth balls - A - There were 3 both balls at the bottom of my hamper and SO WHAT?? I have never in my life had a cleaners refuse to clean my shirts because they were SMELLY - idiotic! I simply can't rely on them with work clothes because they are UNRELIABLE. NEED BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE - CONVENIENCE IS NOT ENOUGH - I closed my account and walk the two blocks to my local cleaners where they don't mind cleaning "smelly dirty laundry". read more

I put in my first rinse order last week and the entire experience has been a complete disaster. When I received my clothes back I quickly realized that two of the hang dry items were not mine and I was missing two hang dry items- valued at about $100 each. Rinse was unable to do anything on Thursday and assured me that they would try their best to locate my pants and return them to me. On Friday, I received an email that the pants were located but they have since not been able to get back in touch with this person. On Friday, I requested an 8pm pickup of the items that were not mine and they have still not been picked up over an hour later. Several phone calls later, and there is no resolution. They have not even waived the wash fee for the headache or assured full reimbursement of my 2 items- I had to tell them that I better receive reimbursement if the matter is not resolved before I leave for a 3 week vacation in 3 days. To top it all off, the wire hanger mis-shaped one of my hang dry shirts and the items were barely folded and stiff! I gave rinse a try because of the free credit for signing up but will definitely go back to using washio! read more

I am a huge fan of Rinse! In my neighborhood, I've used so many drycleaning services in which I spend hundreds of dollars ... Many services have lost my clothing and I don't know if they truly appreciate my patronage. With Rinse, I feel they really take care of my clothes and care. They notice when buttons are damaged and offer to repair them for free, they write and let me know if they notice a tear in a garment and if I want it be repaired. Plus, they take photos of every single garment received so I no longer need to do this to keep track of what's out at the drycleaners. They really do appreciate my patronage and apologize if a mistake has been made immedlately. I will continue to use their service and highly recommend them to everyone! The door to door service with their customer service reps, their systems of easy communications via email and text are what makes this drycleaners over and beyond better than any other drycleaner I have used (including super high end drycleaners that charge a premium). This was my first time using a laundry service and it took a lot of courage for me to finally cave and pay someone else to handle the task. I read the pricing page of the website carefully and thought that the $25 free credit I was starting out with would cover most if not all of my order. I was absolutely floored to find that the bill had come to $82 WITH the free credit accounted for. I had no dry cleaning. I called customer service and was informed that under the "hang dry" heading that lists delicates as $1 and synthetics as $2.50 there is a small button that brings you to a page which explains in fine print that the 11 items I requested for hang dry totaled $68. WHAT. $7 to wash a pair of jeans??? If I would have known this, I would never ever ever ever have selected the hang dry option. I feel extremely taken advantage of and absolutely am not in a situation where I can accidentally spend $82 on air drying some sweaters. Cue the anxious breakdown... read more
