    Omelette breakfast
    shrey d.

I liked this place for its breakfast. The breakfast was a nice buffet with custom omelette, bacon, sausage, hash browns, fruits and selection of beverages. I enjoyed the cheesy mushroom omelette a lot. The cook who made it did a great job. The waiting staff were very courteous and friendly. This is a nice restaurant adjacent to Hilton, and I am sure it serves the purpose to feed guests perfectly. I certainly recommend this place for breakfast.

They did away with the good breakfast and only have a standard hotel buffet. Very disappointed. The staff is great still but now it's just a normal hotel breakfast buffet.

When in Texas and you are a city girl but you want to experience " the Texas feeling "... this is it! It's located inside the Hilton hotel so that was an added bonus. But there is also a off street main entrance. Upon entering I felt I needed to have on boots , hats and gauchos. We was promptly seated and the area by the bar is amazing. It's again to " Texan". I ordered a Rio Ranch burger and O my gracious ( licking lips) can we say amazing. It came dressed in lettuce, tomato, bacon, onions and the hamburger was so juicy!! I had tater tots on the side and even they surpassed my expectations. My friend had the beef brisket, macaroni and with fresh green beans. The juices from the brisket made this plate so scrumptious. I was truly enjoying my meal and I realized that I had 1 bite left. When you see an empty plate your heart will break but your belt loop will remind you that's enough. The price was very reasonable and the ambiance of this restaurant will bring you back again.

Mixed feelings about this restaurant. Let's start with positive. Very friendly staff. Decor is very aligned with the theme. Food unfortunately was not the greatest. My chicken steak was ok and mash potatoes very blend. Gravy awful. Some of my peer's food was ok based on their comments. I really don't think I'd would visit again.

My last visits here were 5-star meals. The blackened redfish was an alternative to Fish and Chips - amazing. The vegetarian pasta with chicken was delicious, and the breakfast tacos were out of this world.

I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, but our breakfasts at this restaurant were great. I liked having the ability to select my own meal with the buffet.

It didn't have that metallic, irony taste like liver which I hate thankfully either. The tomatoes were juicy and charred well with a refreshing taste. The dill rice was full of dill, lima beans and a pleasant, balanced earthy aroma as well as butter / oil too. I get it almost every time. Very welcoming, friendly and efficient service as well. The Iranian food is excellent from this cafe.

The bread the veggies that came out were very good. The appetizer sampler we got the eggplant dish, hummus, and yogurt and shallot. The hummus was not our favorite as our other go to Persian places seem to have a smoother texture but the eggplant was good. The yogurt was pretty tangy with light shallot flavor that wasn't super detectable but it was still nice. The koobideh was juicy and the rice and tahdig that came with it was super yummy. I don't love the seasoning for the chicken koobideh but that's just a preference thing nothing was wrong or unpleasant about it. The lamb koobideh was on point. The meat that my SO had was very good as well. Beef was tender. The chicken was tender. The only thing I was confused about was that my SO was supposed to also have tahdig on his rice but didn't receive it, he just got normal rice. My SO didn't tell me until the very end of the meal though so we didn't say anything to them but it was strange to forget that part of the meal. We didn't knock them for that because my SO didn't bring it to their attention and I'm sure they would have fixed it if we told them. Service was very friendly. They kept checking on us and were very polite. The outside of the restaurant is unassuming in a strip mall but the inside is pretty. There are some other Persian places that we prefer but the tahdig and the service and the juiciness of the meat were great here. The hummus was not our favorite though which to us is a big component that we like to eat. 4/5.

I came on a Friday night and there was a long line. When I looked upfront, I realized why. There were only two people working there. But they were holding it down!! They were working hard to get everyone's order. I got the two piece dark. It took a little while, but it was worth it! Even though I ordered two, they gave me three - maybe because they were closing soon. The chicken was so hot and crispy and juicy!! And omg the hot-sauce! It was really good on the chicken. Also it comes with a jalapeño which I drizzled over the chicken. I also had greens and a roll to top it off. Delicious! Can't wait to go back :)

To be honest the service is slow and at times they're rude and don't wanna do their job. One of the only positive things I can say is that even though the service is slow, the food comes out hot & fresh. I would hope so since they're not busy. My to go orders are usually the 3 piece campus with either mash potatoes, red beans and rice, collard greens & dirty rice. Or I'll get their 3 piece catfish. Sometimes I'll get the dessert (peach cobbler & sweet potato pie). While the chicken comes out hot & fresh. There is zero seasoning on the chicken itself. Not even a pinch of salt. They rely on the batter for flavor. Don't get me wrong the batter is salty & delicious for my palate but the chicken is so bland. Collard greens are uninspiring & boring but edible. Mash potatoes taste just fine but their gravy adds a layer of flavor. Red beans and rice once again, flavorless & they always give you one measly piece of sausage. Their dirty rice is a little dry but not bad. Now for the catfish I actually enjoy it. The batter is the same as their chicken & the fish itself is moist and juicy. The desserts feel like it's store bought and not made in house but it's bearable. Overall, this location ain't it. It's located next to a gas station & the area itself isn't safe. The inside of the restaurant isn't clean either. Lazy & rude employees don't make it any better. If you want some good Frenchy's go to the one on 3rd ward. I would frequently go there but that's no where close to my house so I have to settle for this location. I hope they make improvements before they shut down.

This time I called in an order for tallarines saltados and two whole chickens for my family. They told me it would be ready in an hour, which was fine. When I arrived to pick it up, the owner handed me the food and casually said he replaced my tallarines with lomo saltado -- without asking me first. He said it was "a better choice" and that they were out of tallarines. I told him clearly that I did not want lomo saltado, but he kept insisting, so I just took it to avoid arguing. When we got home, the real problem started -- both chickens were undercooked, tough, and hard to chew. It was so bad that I told my kids and family not to eat any of it, and I ended up throwing everything in the trash. I paid good money for this meal, and we didn't get to eat at all. Changing an order without consent and serving raw chicken is not acceptable. I won't be coming back.

We got the 18 pieces wings with sauce to share and it was huge. They can't do half and half sauces here but the waiter recommended soy and it was super flavorful and yummy! It looks very well seasoned but the flavors as described on the menu or what they sound like by name don't live up to what it actually tastes like. The inside of the chicken is somewhat bland, like there's not much taste to it. The fries weren't that special either, they were pretty standard and could use more seasoning. I'm not sure if it was the entire restaurant but it was very cold inside; the AC was blowing directly onto us and the food which made the experience a little less enjoyable. Pricing was actually pretty good compared to other places, but other than that quality could use some work. Not a bad place to stop by if you want more food for a lower price.
