I got quotes from several companies but I liked the communication here and it was a fair price. Choosing them was the right decision. They also had a two hour minimum versus other places had three hours. I didn't have many pieces to move, so three hours was too much. I finally was able to empty my 10 year storage. I knew about Riptide Moving when I saw them working at a neighbor's house about a year ago. I did a short search and decided to use them. The 2 movers, Joseph & Ben were early to the storage in Spring Valley. This is great for me because I'm usually early. In any case, these guys have great attitudes. Super easy to work with. No grumbles about the stairs (they sucked, I would've understood if they did) or the IKEA furniture (sorry, guys). Absolutely fantastic experience from quote to execution. I hired them to move my storage unit contents to a new facility, and everything went by the numbers. Rick responded to my Yelp quote within 10 minutes around 9 o'clock at night. After the quote, I realized they can't be beat on pricing. Rick was very transparent and there was NOT a three hour minimum as with most of their competition. Without a doubt, this is my go to moving company. I have used the 'bigger' companies in the past but with that has come the high prices, hidden fees, lack of any true personal engagement, and missing/broken items. Not the case with Rick (and Brandon too!). Of course it rained the day of my move but the guys took extra care to stage all the items in my garage and wait until the rain stopped to get it all loaded. They handled each item with care and asked any questions along the way to make sure our items were being handled with great attention and care.
