Great breakfast spot when departing Hilton Head. Food was fresh and excellent. Service was quick. Best for small parties of 4. Bread pudding was delicious.

Found this gem through Yelp while traveling in Bluffton for a family reunion. The cafe was New Orleans themed pictures and decor all around. It was tough for me to decide what to order and I ended up getting the Cajun omelet with crawfish, and cheesy grits. Super tasty, they don't skip on the crawfish either. The grits were perfect and I contemplated getting order of it Overall a great experience!

Ugly egg burrito and cheese grits

This has to be one of the best brunch places I've been to since we moved here. It's a very small cafe with a New Orleans vibe with a nice jazzy background. The inside was great. Just a few tables with easy jazz playing and it was easy to make conversation without having to raise your voice. The service was great, they were very attentive and nice. Now to the reason we go out. The food was incredible. They have a wide selection of southern style Cajun foods and they all look and sound amazing. I picked the ugly egg burrito. It was wonderfully made and has great flavor. The presentation was top notch for a 13$ meal. It filled me up! Wife got the veggie omelette. She was very satisfied. She even tried some of my cheese grits for the first time and they were great! I can't recommend this place enough. It's small tho so call ahead or go early.

You can get there using backroads from 278 by taking Persimmon Street to Scott Way and navigating through the parking lots. While its listed as a diner, it look more like a 1950's Malt Shop. It has checkerboard tile floors, a large countertop and multple tables for 4 people. There's a projected image of a pink Cadillac along with Route 66 signs on the back wall. The service and food were excellent. Once you arrive, you fill out a ticket for the food you wish to order. The ticket is the size of a keypunch card or airline ticket. You put down what you want, your name and the table you're sitting at. They will bring out your food along with a packet of silverware. The condiments and paper towels are at the tables. This is a cash only restaurant. There's an ATM outside. I ordered the corned beef Reuben. The corned beef was very tender and the sandwich was a nice size for $11.99. Some of my party ordered the large breakfast sandwich and another ordered the grouper sandwich which I understand was very good and quite large. I didn't notice a juke box which was probably the only prop missing. They do play music in the background.

We stopped by maybe 20 minutes before closing and they were able to accommodate our whole family. Couple of coffees and juices. The coffee was great. Staff was friendly. But the avocado toast was on ciabatta bread (no one asked what kind of bread we wanted) and it was such a slim layer of avocado. Very disappointed. What I don't know is whether they have changed their toast for all locations and reduced the amount of avocado or was this a fluke or only typical of the Bluffton location. We will go back to the port royal location sometime this week because now I need to know! Oh and we tried the roasted potatoes which I have never tried before. The flavors/herbs were good but the potatoes were not cooked fresh so they were soft/chewy.

From the moment we sat down, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming -- the kind that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just another table. We stopped in for brunch and were blown away. The Coconut Lime Shrimp Bowl was incredibly fresh with bright, vibrant flavors, and the Traditional Eggs Benedict was perfectly executed -- beautifully cooked with rich, balanced flavors. Every bite tasted thoughtful and well crafted. The fresh juices were so flavorful and a perfect addition to our meal. What really stood out was how balanced everything felt: a creative, well-curated menu, excellent flavors, and top-notch service all coming together for a memorable meal. Ezra's is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. Highly recommend!

Lighting was darker than normal. Many of us liked the food. I ordered the blackened mahi mahi which was a special for the night. Can't say it was great. Didn't taste blackened for sure. Had to flag down staff 3-4x even though place was def not busy. Prices were very high, which we knew going in but I can say the squeeze wasn't worth the juice. Def didn't walk out thinking cost/benefit was worth it. Almost $300. In an odd shopping plaza with not-so-good signage. Easily missed if not for GPS. Again, food was good but prices are off, signage needs improved, atmosphere needs lil more light n staff needs training to be on point... esp if you're going to be an expensive restaurant.

Our food came out pretty quickly after ordering and I appreciated that our server asked if we wanted the flounder basket brought out before or at the same time as the seafood boils. Our server was very attentive and checked up on us several times to ensure our food was good, our drinks were refilled, and that we had everything we needed. We were given an abundant amount of gloves and utensils. I appreciated the quality of the "bibs," as they were much sturdier than ones at other cajun seafood places. We were very happy with the food and service. All of the seafood was very fresh, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the scallops were as that's not typically something I order at these kinds of restaurants. Definitely order the Hook & Reel special blend to get the most flavor and you won't regret it. We opted for the spicy level and it was perfect- spicy good flavor, but not overwhelmingly hot. The shrimp were huge and the crawfish were pretty big, considering the fact that they're small in size to begin with. The fries were fried to perfection and the flounder was delicious too. HIGHLY recommend this spot. The food and service were superb! This was the only restaurant I could find in that area with crawfish, as all other restaurants had shrimp and crab only. Our order: x 2 lbs crawfish x 2 lbs shrimp w/ head off x 1/2 lb scallops x 1/2 lb black mussels x fried flounder basket w/ cajun fries
