Super cute spot! We and our small dog got a 1st floor riverside King for the eve of my birthday and it was perfect. The view was so serene and wonderful, the room was clean and quiet, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The pet deposit was low ($25 or so) and worth the price. I would happily stay here again if we're driving through!

Double queen room, on the water...

Was in town and stayed here recently on a trip through the area, this hotel is literally on the rivers banks at the bridge. Check in is simple and easy, the man running the front desk on the afternoon of my arrival was kind and professional. He had me checked in and my room key in hand within about five minutes. My room a double queen on the lower floor, right on the rivers front. A comfortable room, with a balcony that opened up right above the river. The bed was comfortable, the room clean and spacious with the standard amenities you expect while traveling. Work desk and chair, a room fridge with coffee station and flat screen tv. Breakfast the next day was both hot and cold items, served in the dining area next to the front desk reception area. It served its purpose and got my day going, decent coffee. 3.5 Stars rounded up for the location and staff 00954

Good enough if your passing through. Location is good. Many things within walking distance. Breakfast served but limited. Unfortunately we were traveling with about 34 in our group and their eating room no way could handle the load. Although kitchen staff did everything to keep things available seating is very limited. Rooms need upgrade. Ours initially had no TV service. While I waited for front desk staff to come out, I explored. I saw the cable box was behind the cabinet on the ground and unplugged. The back of the TV was very dusty. And box when staff pulled out was dirty as well. The wall unit of HVAC was dirty and pics on wall were dusty. Not a good thing for someone allergic to dust . Our sink had a slow drain. And waking up in the middle of the night, i stepped on some tacks. They were the rug tacks into the bathroom tile. While an option to stay at, there may be better options around.

I read the reviews and booked this place online. It was $109 a night and the price is good for what you receive. First, the hospitality is top notch. Grants Pass has not forgotten what hospitality is. Everyone and I mean everyone that works here was so nice. Sly checked us in and he was so kind and gave us a room near a family member when I requested it. He offered me a bag of popcorn as well and that is free and served from 6-9:30pm nightly. They also have coffee, tea, and apple cider in the lobby all the time. The daily breakfast had lots of options, but I would have liked maybe a potato option and cut fruit. They offer biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, bagels, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, apples, bananas, and waffles. The people who worked at the breakfast were incredibly friendly and always filling everything. It's a small area to eat, but they are quick to clear tables and get them ready for new people. The location is great on the river and perfect distance between most things in GP. It's right next door to a big gift shop at Hellsgate tours. The room was plenty big and it came with a good size mini fridge and mini freezer as well as a microwave. The bath tub was big and the water was always hot. It has a small seasonal pool that is open May to mid October. My only wish is that the king rooms came with a pull out couch bed so that as a family we could get a king room and the kids could sleep on a pull out couch bed. Rather than have to get a 2 queen beds room.

Great place. Right on the river. Staff was great and they give you a nice pet bag if you have a pet. Includes a bowl, treats and some other items. We stayed here on our way to Washington and on our way back. Got the bag both times even though I told them they had given us one. Breakfast was awesome and it's a nice safe neighborhood. They even have wine and some snacks if you dont feel like going out. We will stay here everytime we go up to Washington to see the family.

In May we went to GrantsPass to go on the HellGate jet boats (What a blast ) and I knew we were taking a vacation to Ca. In Sept and I wanted to break up our trip back so I booked a room at Rivers Inn . About a week before they sent a text saying the elevator was still down and would we require a first floor room and we didn't because we packed light and we're healthy enough to carry our luggage up to the third floor so that was not a problem. And we wanted a view of the river that is why I booked it. When we got there to check in the lady at the desk was very nice, and showed great customer service! Gave us our room key, and we carried our luggage up the three flights, opened the door, we were pleased with the room, and then went out to the balcony to look at the river and had a view of scaffolding. I was totally bummed. I did not want to look at construction and workers, That's not why we were staying there. so abruptly went downstairs and asked for a different room and the gal that helped us in the first place said no problem we can move you, we have other rooms so the question is, why did they give us this only room with the construction view in the first place? We hauled our stuff up there without an elevator, and then they give us the room with a construction view. Anyways, I thought that was very strange. She fixed it right away, and that was good, but I don't know why we are given that room in the first place if you have other rooms, give your guest the best room that you can give them. And my only other complaint which isn't really a complaint. I just don't understand who decorated these rooms. They need to find a decorator . Pictures to follow.....

A clean, welcoming and friendly hotel situated on the banks of the beautiful rogue river in Medford Oregon. Very close proximity to Taprock Grill and the Hellboat tours. Was pleasantly surprised by the upgrade to one of the top floors to a room that faced the rogue river. The entire staff, from lobby, housekeeping, reception and breakfast seemed very happy and jovial. The room itself was big, clean and smelled fresh. As a Marriott platinum elite member, I can confidently say that this hotel exceeds expectations then some of the lower category Marriotts in the area. Cough* Fairfield Inn Medford*

Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this place. We were driving through and exhausted and needed to stop at a dog friendly place, which this is. At 11:30 PM the front staff gal was darling and super helpful and there was plenty of parking for people like us who were pulling trailers. The room was very comfortable and well appointed and we had everything we needed. When we woke in the morning and realized how beautiful our setting was it was an extra bonus. And then surprise of all surprises, free breakfast with biscuits and gravy! My heart (and mouth) is happy.

I don't usually leave reviews for hotels, which I probably should. I'll start here. The room is spacious with a nice king size bed. The bed was comfortable and supportive which you don't seem to find anymore. For some reason we were surprised to find not only a micro fridge in our room, but there was also a micro freezer and a small microwave. Convenient. There is a balcony off of the room with a view of the river. It's nice and peaceful in the morning. Before this morning, I couldn't tell you the last time that I ate breakfast from a hotel. Well, I did today. The food was fresh and was tasty. This place was a good find for our one night stop.

Lovely stay at the Riverside Inn left me wishing I could stay longer!! The room was huge, with a firm but comfortable bed. Clean clean clean--so much nicer than other places I have stayed. Generous sized balcony overlooking the Rogue river. Good breakfast buffet and super friendly staff. It's on my list of places to go back to!!

I divided my trip from northern California back home to Vancouver in two by spending one night at the Riverside Inn. The check-in by the staff at the desk was comprehensive, making sure I knew my way around the inn, including the location of the elevator. When asked, they also gave me some suggestions for dining out. A spacious single King room, a bed that was very comfortable and the view, at night from the balcony especially, is really wonderful. I got up and went to the car and got my camera to take a picture at a quarter after midnight. The property is older, but generally very well maintained. A flat-screen HD TV, the Wifi was easy to connect and fast once connected. The in-room coffee was by way of a small, single-cup maker, but the coffee quality was good and two each of caf and decaf were offered, with Coffee-Mate and sugar. The bathroom had a tub deep enough, and with water hot enough, to take a decent bath. The water pressure and showerhead were also very good for showering. I'm a bit of a stickler on that. Few places measure up. The breakfast area is well lit, small but comfortable, and the option is available to take food away on real plates to your room or pack it to go. The hot breakfast is well laid out, with traditional items; scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, etc., and also yogurt choices, fresh fruit, and bagels. The bagels were notably top drawer, fresh, not packaged. The hot food looked fresh and was flavorful. The attendant was helpful and friendly. At the very reasonable price I paid, I had not expected nearly as nice a place. I will make a point of using it for a stop on future trips through the area, or if we come to Visit Grant's Pass to look around.

MOLDY ! NON SAFE FOR FAMILIES, ELDERLY, DISABLED! DIRTY!…read more Do you love the "vibe" of a Motel 6... but wish you could pay a couple hundred more for it? Then The Logic Riverside might be exactly what you're looking for. Do you enjoy driving 15 hours straight to end up at a moldy smelling, blood stained sheets, motel 6 vibe hotel? The photos online promised fresh, modern, and welcoming. The reality? Dingy, musty, and crusty. The second we opened the door, we were hit with a mold smell so strong it could've had its own zip code. The carpet was dirty and lumpy, the ceiling sagged like it was giving up, and the patio hadn't been touched in ages--covered in spiderwebs and so slippery (not safe for disabled, elderly, pregnant women, kids, or anyone). Housekeeping? Could be better. Toilet paper roll half-used, dust everywhere, pubes in the tub (yes, really), mold around the shower and stained comforters that looked like a black-mold art project. Nothing says "welcome" like wondering if your sheets are contagious. And the surroundings... let's just say there's a full-on homeless camp right next door. The vibe outside makes you want to lock your car doors every ten seconds, and definitely doesn't scream "safe family getaway." We told the front desk, and while they were nice, offered for us to talk to management. The solutions were laughable: switch to another musty room or take a "discount next time." Next time?! As if anyone is lining up for round two. The only halfway-decent part of the place is the lobby, which lures you in before the bait-and-switch. For the price they charge, this is absolutely not worth it. If you're spending good money and actually care about clean, safe, decent accommodations--skip this place. Unless, of course, you're into mold, mystery stains, and locking your doors on repeat. *EDIT: Response to Evelyn To clarify, I did speak directly with the manager and the only solution offered was a "discount on a future visit." Given the condition of the room and the health/safety concerns I experienced, I did not feel that was an appropriate resolution. The photos I provided were taken in the room I was assigned, and accurately reflect the conditions.

My room and bathroom were spotless from what I could see. A very nice place to stay for a few days, if necessary. The Wi-Fi, is free and works well. And, if I remember correctly, it is secured (sorry, but I went about 32 hours without sleep. So, I don't recall exactly, as I didn't use it long). The only problem that I was able to find, is that they don't start serving breakfast until 0800. So early eaters will probably have to go out for breakfast (see my review for the Powderhorn Cafe). It's a very quaint old school motel oozing character. Margaret, the current owner, told me that the motel was built in the 30s and then the other half was added in the 50s to create the motel's current horseshoe shape. The motel has been updated many times over the years and mixes vintage with modern very easily. There are only 15 rooms, but each one is unique, with some having full kitchens and bedrooms. There are painted murals of vines and such on the walls, and the rooms come with bathroom, shower, kitchen (with eating utensils and plates) fridge, microwave and even a dining table. The bed was comfortable if not a bit too squishy. It's all done in the style of the old motels where you parked in front of your room. Jackie, the check in lady, was helpful and kind and made checking in a breeze. It's located on one of the main streets in Grants Pass and is within walking distance of a bunch of helpful stores and restaurants. I saw some very positive reviews for The Weasku Inn on the Rogue River, so I booked it. I am SO glad I did! The lodge is nostalgic of days gone by, built in 1924-- so quaint and lovely. On arrival, a warm staff met us and we checked in to a picturesque cabin facing the river. Perfect! King sized SUPER comfy bed stacked high with lovely quilts. The cabin featured a lovely mountain-style, working rock fireplace with a comfy couch facing the fireplace, looking out onto the trees with the river beyond. The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The Weasku offers "appetizers" in the evening--which really is more like a meal. If you are still hungry after the appetizer hours, which we were not, restaurants for dinner are just a quick 5 minute drive away. There is a bar available to purchase wines, beer and ciders, if you wish, available all day long with complementary coffees and teas, as well. And the FULL breakfast is SO well done; not like those plastic, poorly done "breakfasts" served at many places--THIS is a proper, complete breakfast meal. There is a fire pit for evenings and complementary "s'more"kits are available for toasting on the fire. The Weasku staff were so warm and friendly and all seemed to be pleased to see us! We will most certainly return to this lovely spot. If what you want is a respite from the crazy, a quiet cozy place to relax and comfortable accommodations, you will love The Weasku. I saw the many rave reviews and decided that this must be "the place". I'm going to be as objective…read moreas possible while setting the record straight- the staff were all good, and offering breakfast, appetizers and cookies/fire/s'mores in the evening was a really nice touch. As others have mentioned, the breakfast wasn't great, but we were travelling with little kids so having something to get the day started is really important (A for effort, C- for execution). They had a decent selection of beer and wine to order in the evenings (at reasonable prices for a hotel). The grounds were pretty nice. Things fall short of expectations when you get to the accommodations and location. Our cabin felt old and dilapidated, not "historic" in the sense of the Ahwahnee Lodge (Yosemite) or Lake MacDonald Lodge (Glacier). You walk in to a slightly damp environment that smells a bit like septic mixed with old camp fire. The couch, and carpet were pretty gross. Beds were mediocre, and although the sheets looked clean, the setup wasn't exactly confidence inspiring. Rooms are not cleaned daily, and since we have little people in diapers, we opted to just put the trash can outside. Perhaps the worst part was that we were put into the AFrame cabin with no possibility to change rooms (that's not what I booked). There's a steep ladder that leads to the second bed upstairs. This arrangement is not realistic or safe with toddlers. Overall, everything was just, kinda... shabby. "Historic" in the context of the Weasku is a euphemism for "run-down". As for location, if you think you're going to be right on the Rogue, you'd be mistaken. There's an irrigation ditch that runs directly behind the cabins, fed by a pump house about 100 yards away. If you do walk down to the river, be careful because this section is very dangerous/inhospitable. The river is really swift there, so it's not good for fishing (yes, no fishing spots there!), not good for kids, no beach stuff... but plenty of spiked berry brambles and poison oak if that's your thing. Road noise is constant and detracts from the vibe of peaceful seclusion. Interstate 5 is hidden by trees just on the other side of the river, so you'll hear that all night long. As for Grants Pass, unless you've got a reason to be there, you'd be better off somewhere like Ashland. The Weasku served our needs, and we all escaped without bedbugs or scabies. Would I stay again? Not if you paid me. Rating reflects great staff and nice grounds, with negative stars for accommodations.
