The attention to detail is remarkable, and the staff is polite and attentive, creating a stunning atmosphere and an incredibly cozy experience. We stayed in Room #3 in the main lodge, which featured a TV, a high bed, a cozy reading nook, a reading chair, a sitting bench, and a desk. Highlights: -Freshly baked cookies with milk and lemon-infused water -S'mores kits -Cozy fires inside and outside the lodge -A gourmet selection of teas -A peaceful creek and walking path outside -Ample parking -Clean, cozy, and spacious rooms -Delicious warm breakfast that includes fluffy buttermilk biscuits I could not recommend this spot more! This was a stop on our road trip, but it is truly worth being a destination in its own right.

    Great breakfast!

This is the most special place! The historic log cabin lodge is warm and inviting. My entire family stayed in all the rooms and cabins for our son's wedding in Grants Pass. We loved the breakfast, afternoon appetizers and sitting by the campfire with smores in the evening. The accommodations were adorable- robes, coffee in the rooms and too many details to name! Thank you for making this such a special place!

We had such a wonderful time at the Weasku Inn! We found this awesome Travelzoo deal and decided to go for it as a last mini getaway before I returned back to work from my maternity leave. The Inn/Lodge was so warm and welcoming! The staff were all so friendly and professional! Merek & Cecil were especially attentive, sweet, and so nice ! We brought our 6 month old daughter and everyone was so happy & friendly towards her ! Even other guests! We very much enjoyed our spacious king cabin with fireplace & a porch, bottle of wine and truffles, free breakfast every morning, free appetizers in the afternoon, free milk and homemade cookies in the evening (my husband couldn't stop raving about them !), and a free gift card to a nearby restaurant that was so good (Rivers Edge)! We met a couple who goes every year and has been for the last twenty years! It might be nice to follow the same tradition & start our own ! We will definitely be back !

Stayed for the weekend in a King River front cabin. The Inn is bigger than I expected. Several cabins that are up from the river. I was a bit disappointed as I expected the cabin to be closer to the river, it's about 100 yards away, and the brush was so high we could barely see the river. Maintenance staff probably need to maintain the weeds and brush so the river can actually be seen. Regardless, we had a nice stay. The cabin was roomy and comfortable with a big bathroom, living room and deck off the front. The wine pass was our main attraction and we visited almost every winery on the list in the three days we were there. The complimentary breakfast was as bad as others have said in prior reviews with salty powdered eggs, small sausage and cold potatoes. Yogurt and bagels were the only good staples. It was enough to hold us over until we got to a winery for lunch. Staff was very helpful. It was quiet and a good location. I would stay here again when the world opens back up to normal. I would think that the breakfast would be back to normal and hopefully the brush will be cleared by the river so you can actually see it.

We went to the Weasku Inn for our 35th year anniversary. We had a very nice room by the river and they included a bottle of wine for us with a nice note. We had appetizers in the afternoon and a full breakfast in the morning. The rooms were very comfortable and we loved the decor!

A trip to the past. Beautiful log cabin hotel with beautiful grounds. The breakfast buffet was much better than typical hotels.

Not really an obnoxious traffic noise. The rest of the stay .....meh. Check in was fine, efficient and courteous. The desk clerk didn't go out of his way to make us feel welcome or anything, but that's ok given the age we live in. Noone goes oit of their way to be friendly anymore. One of the room keys didnt work when we got to the room, but that wasn't an issue really, since the second key worked fine. Upon entering the room, we were immediately met with a strong "mopped floor with dirty wet mop" smell. You know the smell i mean. The pillows (or maybe the sheets?) also smelled ....uncleaned. Not fresh at all. On our return home from a long day in the sun, neither of the room keys worked. We were also locked out of using the door to the elevator so we had to schlep our weary bodies around the length of the hotel parking lot to the front desk where we were greeted with a " I'll be right back sign" at the front desk. Yup. We had to wait in the non air conditioned lobby for the front desk person to get back. It was the icing on the cake of a bad experience. When we returned to our room, my husband racked his elbow on an obtrusively placed cabinet causing a bloody bruise to swell up. The cabinet placed, mind you, not at the center of the wall between two beds to allow safe passage into the room, but on the foot of one bed, in the entranceway. Picture below. This property has been our favorite for years. They recently changed ownership. The staff walks around like zombies and never crack a smile. If they dont want to be there, then why should we come back? Especially now that the property has had a blood sacrifice. Such a shame. Because I'd do almost anything just for the view.

Unlike some of the other reviews, and the pictures that show it, they have upgraded the rooms with flat screen TV and remodeled bathroom (even though there's no countertop, there is a set of shelves that work just as good). My room and bathroom were spotless from what I could see. A very nice place to stay for a few days, if necessary. The Wi-Fi, is free and works well. And, if I remember correctly, it is secured (sorry, but I went about 32 hours without sleep. So, I don't recall exactly, as I didn't use it long). The only problem that I was able to find, is that they don't start serving breakfast until 0800. So early eaters will probably have to go out for breakfast (see my review for the Powderhorn Cafe). And, with the wine classes at they have available, it might make a nice anniversary getaway, too. I'll post pictures later, as I have to transfer them from my laptop to this phone first.

It's a very quaint old school motel oozing character. Margaret, the current owner, told me that the motel was built in the 30s and then the other half was added in the 50s to create the motel's current horseshoe shape. The motel has been updated many times over the years and mixes vintage with modern very easily. There are only 15 rooms, but each one is unique, with some having full kitchens and bedrooms. There are painted murals of vines and such on the walls, and the rooms come with bathroom, shower, kitchen (with eating utensils and plates) fridge, microwave and even a dining table. The bed was comfortable if not a bit too squishy. It's all done in the style of the old motels where you parked in front of your room. Jackie, the check in lady, was helpful and kind and made checking in a breeze. It's located on one of the main streets in Grants Pass and is within walking distance of a bunch of helpful stores and restaurants. With all this charm and very affordable pricing, this is my new go-to motel in the Grants Pass area.
