Fried egg sunny side up
X M.

This is a casual dining place within Hyatt regency Miami. It is located in the popular Brickell. The river view from the restaurant was awesome. We stayed in the hotel and had breakfast here. The traditional breakfast had solid quality for the price, including 2 eggs, any style breakfast potatoes, bacon, and toasts. The food was served quickly. The eggs were cooked perfectly per my liking. The coffee was good too. We would recommend this place for breakfast.

Located within the Hyatt Regency, everything you see is a typical Hotel price. Arrived at the hotel around 8:30pm due to flight delays, too tired to go out, and I have been snacking on the flight, I wasn't too hungry, thought eating here was good choice. Had crab cake appetizer as my dinner. Crab cake was good, spicy sauce was really spicy, I am glad they put them on the side. It was served with arugula as garnish, I actually enjoyed this green more than crab cakes. I tasted conch fritters my colleague ordered, we both agreed, we had them better elsewhere. They will add automatic 15% tips to your bill. I really don't like that idea. They have a space to either add or deduct, depending on service. It's not servers' fault that Hotel decided to set up like that, but I was too tired to calculate or do anything else, I just left as 15%.

The breakfast buffet is by far the best one I have had at any hotel in my travels. They have a great selection of delectable eats and an omelet bar as well. A selection of salmon and avocado toast were available (never often seen at a buffet). Fresh fruits, yogurts, charcuterie, and scrambled egg whites and regular scrambled eggs were present. Service was adequate and gratuity is automatically charged to the bill, as well.

Oatmeal at the buffet

The serrver Massel and his helper Veronica were the best. The food barely ok. The buffet is a joke. Talk about a food safety nightmare... I saw the ungloved employee putting spilled food back on the dishes instead of throwing it it. The oatmeal is in an open pot with no lid... This food is just disgusting.... I would expect this place to be so much cleaner being inside the Hyatt Regency. The prices reflect an expensive location that should pay more attention to detail.

Don't let the hotel decor fool you. Some good eats

So restaurant in the Hyatt.. Breakfast catered for my conference has been ok but a bit of strange menu planning (like pot pie, mashed potatoes and cornbread all together) so I was not sure about eating dinner here.. Though their AM breakfast in this cafe looked divine compared to ours...Well due to a rather funny mix up w hotel staff who made me into the conference breakfast crasher the hotel comped me dinner. It was really good! And not just because it was free either people. I had conch soup which was ok but the chimichurri steak was something unexpected. A nice garlic vinegar marinate w a little onion and parsley and cooked perfectly medium. I like rare but thought flank steak would come out tough... This kicked the PANTS off Guapos in NOVA. The plantains were not too sweet and not greasy at all w Some Carmilization. Rice seemed a big t on the instant side but e that vinegar-garlic marinade it was fine. Ended w key lime pie which I'm taking to the room bc that piece of steak was not little, folks. And try a holy mackerel beer.. It is high octane and as good as a Belgian beer. Thomas was adorable. All the wait staff are quite nice here. It was a real pleasure and a very nice surprise for a hotel restaurant.

Didn't have the menu listed on the Hyatt app, didn't have chicken wings, and wouldn't deliver to our room. So pretty much worthless.

YELP! It's time to move to 10 stars, because Bistro Cafe, deserves a 10 OUT OF 10 Damnit!!!…read more When I tell you, this place is amazing, it's absolutely amazing, from the interior, to the staff, and the food! Just finished our 6 day anniversary cruise and my wife found this Bistro from the reviews. This was a brunch stop before hitting the airport. We started off with mimosas, my wife had the cotton candy mimosa and I had the margarita mimosa. Great way to start off, they were delicious! My wife order the French Toast with Scrambled Eggs & Diced Potatoes. I ordered the Chapulín Egg white omelette with pancakes...let me tell yall something..The BEST Omelette I have ever had you hear me. Huge shoutout to the chef! We loved the all the food, but I truly loved the omelette. When I come back to Miami, I'm calling yall ahead of time cause this was everything I needed! Thank you all so much for your hospitality!

Bistro's Cafe absolutely lived up to the hype! We came for brunch right after getting off our…read morecruise, and I can confidently say this will be a must-visit every time we're back in Miami. The food was AMAZING! We definitely got a little carried away ordering because everything sounded so good, and for just my husband and me, our bill came to around $150. The portions were MUCH bigger than we expected, so I'd actually recommend ordering a little less than you think you need because you'll leave stuffed! That crème brûlée French toast was truly CHEF's KISSSSSSSSSSSSS! I would fly back just to have it again! The drinks were great too, but let me warn you... that Cotton Candy Mimosa is SWEET. Whew! If you have a serious sweet tooth, you'll absolutely love it. The atmosphere was such a vibe. The music was right up my alley, and the entire restaurant had such a fun energy. On top of that, our servers were phenomenal and made the experience even better. One piece of advice: get there EARLY. We arrived shortly after leaving our cruise and were seated without an issue, but while we were there, I heard people being quoted anywhere from a 30-minute wait to over an hour. If it's your last morning before heading home, that may not fit your schedule, but I can honestly say it's worth the wait. Amazing food, great service, fun atmosphere, and an experience we'll definitely be coming back for. Bistro's Cafe has earned a permanent spot on my Miami list!

I got the immunity drink which was tasty. I would go back again. Its close to the Hyatt we stayed at. I would recommend this place.

I honestly don't understand how this place has more than 4 stars on Yelp…read more We ordered the Shakshuka, Steak & Eggs, and two orders of pancakes. The Shakshuka was okay--perfectly edible, but nothing memorable. The Steak & Eggs was pretty much the same: decent, but definitely not worth the premium price. The biggest disappointment was the pancakes. They were dense, had noticeable lumps in the batter, and were nowhere near as light and fluffy as good pancakes should be. The syrup also didn't taste like real maple syrup, which was surprising considering how expensive everything is. Speaking of prices, Café Bastille is seriously overpriced for what it delivers. The restaurant also wasn't cool enough inside--the air conditioning struggled to keep the space comfortable, which made the meal less enjoyable. The one bright spot was the service. Our server was friendly, attentive, and did an excellent job throughout the meal. One more thing that is becoming increasingly frustrating in Miami: the bill already included a mandatory 20% gratuity. While I always tip for good service, automatically adding 20% regardless of the experience feels excessive. This trend is getting out of control and takes away the customer's ability to reward service based on merit. Overall, this feels like a place designed more for tourists than for locals. Nice presentation and good marketing, but the food simply doesn't justify the prices. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back.
