I have been here 3 times so far and have loved it every time. The first was for a Yelp Event - OMG. Too cool. (You should read the Yelp reviews for the event and be prepared to get jealous. tee hee hee) When I returned a month later, I came in for a massage. It was much needed and a bit painful at times. (I was tearing up but those knots needed to be worked out badly) The masseuse told me I had too much stuff going on in my shoulders that I should really consider soaking in an epsom salt bath. I followed her suggestion and it helped out soooo much. Last week, I came in for a no chip manicure and another massage (I swear I'm not spoiled! I'm just taking advantage of their black friday deals- and courtesy of Paul H. - yay for bday gifts!) I came in a little early and they offered me some hot tea and allowed me to rock out their massage chairs. You should definitely come early to take advantage of those adjustable massage chairs. The manicure was by Trisha. I always thought I had decent nails and cuticles but this lady made me look like an OPI nail model. I can honestly say, it was the best manicure I have ever had. For their no-chip manicure, the spa uses the Gelish formula which I think great because that line offers a lot of different colors. Almost a week later and my nails still look great. The massage felt a lot better this time- epsom salt baths do work! Brad made sure I was comfortable and he tenderized me until I was as soft as Kobe beef. I love coming to Riviera for a relaxing experience, and definitely happy about the new move to this location. I've had nothing less but good service and it's nice to see many quality and varying services that's offered at Riviera Spa. I came in for a massage with Nickm and waited a few minutes during check-in since I arrived early. The waiting area had many different magazines to choose from, and I noticed the beautiful fish tank that added to the serene atmosphere. My massage therapist came to get me and gave me a mini tour of the new location and told me about the different services that's offered there-- I noticed a LOT of nail polish colors offered. The massages here are very relaxing from any massage therapist (My favorite is from the owner, Nickm), and I always leave feeling rejuvenated. What I also really appreciate about Riviera is that they take the time to make clients feel comfortable. I still recall the first time I came in and when we went to the massage room, he explained how things would work, asked what pressure I'd like, as well as had me let him know if I preferred to chat during the session or just relax-- I value this because I feel that sometimes massage therapists see so many clients that they forget to try to help clients relax. Also I remember earlier this year I came in around my birthday and when I left I got a Thank You card with a discount for my next visit! That's so thoughtful. The receptionists and other staff members are all friendly and nice. If you're looking for a massage or some beauty services, try Riviera Spa! It's in a good area with many different restaurants, bars, and small shopping boutiques to try out. I visited Riviera Spa once before during a Yelp event. The services & employees are great! Yesterday, I decided to use my voucher for a free facial. My esthetician was Gina, who I met on my prior visit. She was both informative and very professional. After informing me my skin was slightly dry, she advised which products she would be using. Usually, facials leave my skin extremely oily. Although my skin was well moisturized, it did not look oily even at the end of the day. I was very pleased with the results and highly recommend for those who can afford the $110 price tag. read more

One day..... it will be socially acceptable for hetero males to get facials and arm scrubs... no homo. I was fortunate to be invited to Riviera for a yelp event and I came away with my mind blown... How in the world did my nails possess such sheen? I was able to get my nails buffed, get an exfoliating arm scrub, and a therapeutic massage. Trisha did a great job and made sure i was comfortable while my nails were getting buffed. She stated that she had around 10 years of experience and it definitely showed. She was automatic with everything. The arm scrub was done by Rachel and after i felt my arms, i swear i went back in time during my pre-pubescent days.... my skin has never been so soft. The chair massage was performed by Audra. Despite her stature, she packs some heat with her massages. I'm pretty sure when she massaged my neck that my toes were curling up. I could see my brain since my eyes were rolling back so far lol. Riviera Spa has introduced me into the spa life...... and by giving us great rates for future services really put the icing on the cake. I scheduled a couples massage two weeks in advance. Put down the deposit and everything. The day of the appointment, they call and cancel asking me to reschedule. This was a birthday gift and a reschedule would be too late. They could have prevented this by having sufficient staff. I will be getting a refund on my deposit and not coming back. read more

I LOVE this place so much - I have gotten a facial here twice and my skin improved significantly after just one. I wish I could keep going but it's not too kind on your wallet. It's been a couple months since changing my skin routine after my consultative facial at Riviera and I can say my skin is lookin *good*. I was advised to swap my face wash & mud masks because they were eliminating my skin's natural oils which were causing dryness & wrinkles to show (I'm too young for that!‍) After following their advice & changing my routine, my skin is moisturized, balanced & forehead-wrinkle free. read more

I would give this place 3.5 stars but Yelp doesn't have 1/2 stars. The service is good. I called and got a same day massage. I went in and the reception I received was pleasant. The location rocks for me because it's close to where I live. It's also very nicely put together. I had Meredith and she did a good job. She listened to me and worked on my kinks. My biggest issue is that I could hear everything while I was getting my massage. I heard doors closing and the person in the next room and their therapist talking and laughing quite loudly. This made it tough for me to relax. I'm pretty picky when it comes to spas and massages. While this one is very nice, I'm debating on the return. read more

Still loving Riviera Spa Dallas. I enjoy returning to a business that keeps itself up, looks for ways to improve and ensures you'll see many of the same faces. Just awesome. So I went in for some ME time and it just rocked! Started with a massage. I got a new massage therapist, Ernesto, who was ah-mazing. I was knocked out. I would come to for a few seconds then dip back under. It was great! Will definitely be returning in search for Ernesto. Unfortunately, my girl Charlene is out but I am lucky I have found Ernesto. Nails by Michelle as always. She is just sweet and does wonderfully consistent work. Thanks as always. They automatically know who I want for my mani and pedi now. It's Michelle! Something new this time a facial. Wow, I didn't know what I was missing! Loved it. My esthetician was Ian. She was very knowledgeable and she too had me slip under from time to time. Thanks to Yelp for having the spa event here and introducing me to this place. I booked a few wax services here and have been happy with Riviera Spa each and every time. Upon entering the spa, it smells amazing (the pineapple candle!), I love that they offer water/tea and the lighting down the hall and in the rooms are dim. Very relaxing. The esthetician is nice and easy to talk to and best of all doesn't care for small talk (I'm a quiet person by nature) AND she doesn't ask me every 5 minutes if I'm ok because I'm making her uncomfortable like other wax places. The garage is hardly ever packed and yay free parking! The staff is friendly and is understanding when you're stuck in traffic. This place is worth the drive from Irving as most spas/wax places give me weird vibes. I come home feeling pampered :-) read more

Beautifully done. I love making appointments and walking into an establishment and the person behind the desk greets me by name. Totally love it. Anyway, she also offered me something to drink (water, champagne, tea, wine) and I went for the red wine because why not. Anyway, I had Tricia for manicure and Lauren for pedicure and they were both PERFECT. Absolutely perfect. Not a stray cuticle in sight. Not a stray dot of polish anywhere other than on my nails. Seems like an easy job, but it's not. On for the reason I took a star off. Usually, this would be a perfect five star because the end result was exactly what I wanted. But there were two things: I got massaged with a scrub. Goodness. After a few seconds I though my skin was going to peel off. Did I say anything? Nope. It was their process and sometimes I can be a pansy. Second thing was the selection of colors. There's plenty enough, but I think a place like this needs to have the colors in order (OCD much?) just for the aesthetic and more colors would be nice. Gosh, I can't believe I just wrote that. I have always loved Riviera Spa and I just recently received a hydrafacial from Nohemi. First off, she is amazing. She is so sweet and made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. You can tell she is very passionate about her job. Second, my skin has never looked better! I wake up everyday with glowing skin and the small bumps I had on my forehead are diminishing. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the delicious scent in this salon. That can really get me to come back. I was waiting on my friend, so they sent me to the back where there was jazz water, is what I call it, cut up citrus fruits in water. I had like 3 cups before I went to get my nails done. This was my first time getting a professional massage, and Charlene was a great masseuse to start off with. She explained the process to me, and even performed a deep tissue massage for a little bit to see if I preferred it, or if I was more comfortable with a less intense massage. Well, apparently, I like deep tissue, and decided that I wanted to pursue the next 40 minutes with deep tissue, which was only 20 more dollars. I felt really relaxed, helped with the calming music and the smell of eucalyptus. Charlene did a really great job, and I'm pretty sure I fell asleep at some point because I was so relaxed. When I was done, I was plied with cucumber water to keep me hydrated, and I left feeling really, really, really great. My friend and I received a facial and massage. The reception into the spa was lacking. The front desk had not recognized we had already filled out our paperwork online as they had requested and she kept going back inside to check her computer. She also didn't recognize we had requested the couples room when booking. She said "oh, you're a couple?" It was irritating having to explain that we were having a girls day and just wanted to hang out together for the spa services but if we had to say we were a couple just to get the room we had already booked then we would. She then said she'd get it ready for $15 extra. Not professional at all when we were paying almost $600 for services. We were not provided a robe or slippers even though we had multiple services. There was not a place to relax between services. We had to get fully dressed between each one and were walked outside and back inside just so we could use the bathroom in between services. I had put my t-shirt back on but left my bra off and wasn't happy when I had to be taken outside in the corridor holding my bra in my hand while other clients paid outside. The massage and facial were good. The service and accommodations, and the spa itself was extremely lacking in comfort and relaxation. This spa experience was not the least bit luxurious. I will not be revisiting this spa. read more

I'd probably give a zero if it would let me. We had a horrible experience here. We had a baby sprinkle planned with a couple of pregnant women, who were flying in for the weekend. We left ahead of time, as well. We called them 30 mins prior to our appointment informing that the tollway was completely blocked up and there was no quicker route to get us there faster. We checked what happens as we could be about 5 mins late, they said it'll creep into our service time, we asked if they could reschedule or cancel or be a little flexible here. I mean we were just stuck, their tone was harsh, they wouldn't budge, weren't even trying to work with us. We got there and it took us over 10 mins to find the place, the parking lot and a parking spot that was so tight that us pregnant ladies had to hop over to the passenger side to get out of our car. We get to an elevator that doesn't work! Finally when we got to the place we were 15 mins late, they told us there's nothing they could do about it, and it'll be a 30min service instead of the 50 that we'll be paying for. Well, we agreed as there's absolutely nothing we could do about it. We got in our massage rooms, no robes, no lockers offered. All of our massages lasted 15 mins! Not the 30 mins they told us, just 15 mins. I had the pregnancy belly pillow, my friend just had regular pillows, it was a joke! We were all so upset and stressed at the end of it. And this was supposed to be our celebration! I wouldn't recommend this place, I mean a little understanding would have been nice. And it's definitely not the fancy place that they claim to be, so many better spas around! Def it's a no no for prenatal massages, I don't think their massage therapist was experienced or trained for prenatal. read more

For the second time, I returned to the Riviera Spa about three months later for a customized facial with James, whom I'd call "The Expert." All I can say is it was so worth the four-hour drive from where I live just to get to Dallas and have a super rejuvenating spa experience here. James is attentive, methodical, calm, confident, and very professional. My skin glows and heals after every treatment. As I left the spa, I was already planning to return to the spa for the third time. That's how amazing James's work is. On the another note, the spa itself has a nice, 'soft,' calming ambience. I came here for a yelp event and this spa was great! First off, park at the parking garage that has a sign saying "Travis ___ parking garage" Must get a facial because the products they use made my skin so baby soft, I had baby skin for at least three days. I wish I could buy the products but they are a bit pricey for me. I also got nail art and a chair massage. Both were relaxing and the nail art was exactly what I wanted. My wife and I visited here from Iowa. This was hands down an amazing and relaxing experience. The quiet/sitting room is immaculate. They offered a mimosa bar while waiting for our massage. I had Lisa Blount who provided me one of the best and relaxing massages, I've ever had. I have fibro and this released so much pain and provided me relaxation. My wife had Franky Wilson, and she raved about her experience. My wife is a former spa director and raved about the atmosphere, decorations and the waiting/quiet room.
