    Panang Curry with Sticky Rice
    Cynthia A.

What a gem! The food is absolutely delicious, with generous portions that stand out compared to other Thai restaurants I have been to. The flavors are incredibly authentic, making it a true treat for Thai food lovers like my Thai husband and I. The service was outstanding. Our server was warm, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. I especially appreciated being seated right in front of the fireplace--it added a cozy touch, perfect for a date night with my hubby. We had Panang Curry with Chicken, Fried Tofu appetizers and Sticky Rice. The atmosphere had an open-air feel, with well-spaced tables that provided a comfortable distance from other diners. The noise level was moderate, allowing for easy conversation without feeling too quiet or too loud. There is a nice sized parking lot, so this is not an issue.

Very homey inside seating area. I got the pad Thai and it was alright. I've had better but it was still good enough for me to not complain. To be fair I was only here for like 20 mins since I was in a rush but staff was friendly and understanding. I'd say overall solid restaurant. Will I come back? Yes so I can see the outdoor patio and be one with nature while eating Thai food :)

R'noh Thai Larkspur CA Sun 9/17/23 © Thai place is packed! Dinner! Hungry! Tom Kha Kai, Spicy Pad Kee Mow! Gloria Ferrer Blanc de Noirs Rosé! Searched for Thai around Corte Madera, R'noh came up in Larkspur, let's give it a try! As I stepped in, it became clear how popular this restaurant is! Feels like home, comfortable, with two dining rooms, many locals were picking up their take outs, others dining in, atmosphere inviting, waiters busy serving, place is bustling! I had to wait a bit for a window table. Thank you Joy! First things first, it's the thirst! Glass of water with orange slice in it and a bottle of Gloria Ferrer Blanc de Noirs Rosé Champagne! Joy brought it over, served & poured! Mmm bubbly! When eating Thai, must have Tom Kha Kai! Your choice of protein, Coconut Milk with lemon grass, galangal, mushroom & lime juice! Chicken Tom Kha Kai and Gloria Ferrer go finely together, as I found out! Next up, Lamb Curry with Chunks of tender lamb, potatoes & vegetables in yellow curry, served with cucumber salad, mild spicy, mighty tasty! 25 bucks. Ordered Coconut Rice, which could be a dish in itself, honestly! So delicious with some berries resembling raisins but not, I was so busy chewing, forgot to ask what it was! Get large portion 5, you'll thank me later! Cucumber salad comes with your Lamb Curry, very refreshing accompaniment! Spicy Pad Kee Mow, it's a noodle dish with your choice of protein, I got the safe chicken LOLz! Stir fried wide rice noodles with chili, garlic, bell pepper, basil, bean sprouts, egg, chicken 17 in this combination! All in all, a memorable dinner at the end of tumultuous Sunday! Note to myself, come straight here next time, don't waste time searching, picking and choosing:-) *Since it costs a lot to win, and even more to lose You and me bound to spend some time wond'rin' what to choose Goes to show, you don't ever know Watch each card you play and play it slow Wait until that deal come round Don't you let that deal go down, no, no [ Review #783 w 8 pix on Sep 21, 2023 ] Gloria Ferrer Blanc de Noirs Rosé! There is street parking available and seating was quick, although we arrived shortly after 5 pm. My husband had fried spring rolls, fried chicken, lemon aid, and the seafood hot pot with rice. I had the fresh rolls with shrimp. Both of us took home lots of leftovers. The fried chicken was excellent and not greasy. The spices were delightful and not overwhelming. It was perfectly crispy. The spring rolls were also very good and crispy with a nice mix of flavors. The real star was the seafood hot pot! So many great pieces of shrimp, seafood, mushrooms, peppers, bok choy, onion, and the best light broth. I kept sneaking my fork into my husband's bowl for more and I'm usually not a big fan. My fresh rolls were both generous and excellent. I appreciated the delicate balance between the romaine and mint with the fresh vermicelli. The shrimp were thinly sliced and fresh. We will be making this place a regular on our rotation of favorites.

Their bánh mì options are legit and absolutely worth ordering. They also have a killer pho lineup with all the classics--barbecue beef, chicken, pork, and more. The broth is flavorful and comforting, and the portions are generous. It's the kind of pho that hits the spot every time. Don't miss the fresh shrimp rolls--light, refreshing, and super tasty. Perfect balance to the richer dishes. Another standout detail: they serve coconut juice straight from an actual cut coconut, which feels both fresh and fun and pairs perfectly with the food. They offer both dine-in and to-go, which makes it easy whether you're sitting down for a meal or grabbing something quick. Between the bánh mì, the pho, the fresh rolls, and the coconut drink, Saigon Village delivers on flavor and variety. A solid go-to spot for Vietnamese comfort food.

Sauce was a tad oily but so so flavorful. Would definitely get it again! Pork steamed buns: 8/10, not what I expected, i thought it'd be a red marinated pork but it was more of a seasoned meat ball in a bun. I didn't hate it and it paired well with the sauce of the braised beef :) Signature spicy wonton: 9/10, different for sure. I was expected more chili chucks but the oil itself was different from what I've had before. Love that they packed the wontons and oil separate for me to pair at home. Honestly, I'd come back and dine in. I saw things on Yelp that weren't options on Door Dash. All my dishes felt different from other places I've been with similar menu items. Would love to come here again, service was quick and interior was pleasant ^_^

The small flat noodles were a bit thicker than I would have liked and the soup needed a little more flavor. The chili oil wonton were saltier than I would've liked but the dough had a good consistency. The soup dumplings were ok. 1 braised pork dumpling had a much stronger star anise flavor which was overbearing while the other was perfect. I was actually hoping for the pita part to be more like the style that has crispy layers but it was filling. The chili oil flat noodles were OK. Overall, I've had better hand pulled noodles and I prefer beef broth soup that has a more richer flavor.

At CA Noodle, you get what you ask for - you can see the rich, red chili flakes and oil floating in the broth which adds a nice kick and great flavor to the freshly made noodles. I just wish there were more chunks of beef that were included - the dish is very carb heavy. We also shared a plate of the pig ear appetizer which is soaked in a rich chili oil. If you like more of the chewy/cartilaginous type of texture, which I do, this dish is absolutely amazing. Overall, would recommend this spot if you're looking for a comfort meal.

Seeing CA Noodle show up on our yelp search and it was nearby, we decided to check it out. The location is pretty convenient, located in a plaza that shares parking spaces with several other restaurants and a McDonald's. The inside only seats about 10-14 parties of 2-4, so a pretty small restaurant. They had 2 waiters staffing the entire restaurant, but the menu and ordering system is all done through a POS via QR code. The menu was quite large, offering no many choices like pot stickers, noodle soups, chow mein, and little appetizers like pig ears. We ended up ordering the pig ears, pot stickers, pork pan fried bun, and 2 noodle soups. The good: pig ears. The pig ears were cut in various sizes and the flavor was spicy. Definitely to our liking! The neutral: the pork hamburger item and pot stickers. While the bun was tasty and crispy, the mean in between was a bit dry and the taste was a bit mild and less salty. We made it better by adding pig ears with every bite lol. The pot stickers were fine but it didn't really give a crispy bottom taste and more of dry pan sear. It definitely needed sauce as the filling was a bit mild too (very consistent mild tastings after the pig ears. The bad: the soup dishes that we ordered were definitely needing a flavor bomb. While the noodles we ordered were great and had a ton of chew and the protein in the dish was plenty; the soup lacked in taste. My girlfriend had to ask for additional salt to add to taste and it made it so much better. I ate mine as intended and I wasn't as satisfied as compared to if I were to eat at ox9 or muragame. Overall, I thought our meal was about a 3.5. While we enjoyed watching the World Cup while eating our food, the taste of our food was much more desired and it didn't scratch our itch for a rich soup. Unfortunately, many of the other patrons seemed to catch on and order the chow mein instead. If we come back, it's probably what we would order next. Until next time!
