I came here for dinner for my birthday. The ambience is a really small restaurant..as soon as you walk in ,you're greeted by a host you get sat.. all the people that work here are so nice and friendly. I got the catfish bites with the order of fries and a hibiscus Margarita when I tell you that catfish was so good, really well seasoned and fresh and the fries were hot and crispy. It was so good..they sang to me and it was so cute and heart warming I swear it touch me. I know some people might be like OK and they saying happy birthday to everybody but everybody literally stopped what they doing to come over there and hype me up and celebrate me and I loved it...so they are appreciated for that! I did expect it to be a lot more upscale though so it kind of took me by surprise when it wasn't but definitely still go and check this place out. It'll definitely be worth it. 9/10 for me read more

Our last day in Nashville, we took the Uber over to Roasted Midtown. This place was a vibe. Music, mimosas, great energy, and some good homemade cooking. Nice sized portion of food and prices were reasonable. There is a DJ onsite spinning out some good music. The Vibes were everything. Our hostess was incredible. We came here on a Sunday around 12pm and loved our experience. We immediately got seated for a table of 2. We ordered the brunch special for $35 with 1 entree and 3 sides. Visited for Brunch and arrived with a large party of about 18 ladies. Time gap was way too long between everyone receiving their food. When the first half were done eating, the second half of ladies received their food. As the second half of ladies began eating we observed 2 medium sized ROACHES a few minutes apart crawling along the wall where the booths were positioned. The server brought over the manager to speak with one of the ladies, however the issue was not addressed across the table. Shortly thereafter shots were brought out as their resolve, which is unacceptable. I do not recommend, the experience was very disheartening. I do not visit restaurants with an expectation to step on roaches. This is your queue not to go. This issue wasn't handled satisfactorily and there may be an infestation at this establishment that needs to be addressed via enhanced cleaning practices and pest control services before this is a common experience for every customer. read more

Baby five star food for surrrrre. If you're in Nashville and you don't go - you're a fool! I love this black owned spot. We happened to roll in here on a Saturday around 1 PM for their brunch special - 1 entree and three sides for $35. You literally cannot beat that. Our server was so lit and nice. They were celebrating plenty of birthdays so it's a place you want to come if you want to have a good time as well with their DJ playing music. It can get a little rowdy depending on the other customers and how tipsy they get but it was fine. The wait was a little long but I will do it three times over for as good as the food was. I was slumped on the road back home. Portions were filling and everything was hot. Their house made strawberry lemonade and koolaid were both very good. Went to Roasted for the first time this Wednesday for happy hour and had a great time! I got the hot lemon pepper wings and fries, with the mango mimosa. Everything was so good! My sisters loved their Chicken Philly Quesadillas. The service was great. Our waitress Avi was amazing! She was so nice, attentive and a fun presence. The vibe was fun, great music. Food was sooo delicious. We tried almost all of the things on the brunch menu and it was all amazing. The salmon cakes, perfectly fried and tasty. The waffle perfectly cooked and soft and buttery. The eggs seasoned to perfection. Brussels sprouts were wow! Grits made me want to shout about them being delicious. The French toast were literally inhaled lol.
