Lake Montezuma had a fairly limited selection of restaurants from what I could tell, and Robbie's was the closest to where we were staying, so we decided to give it a chance. We got the wings - sweet chili & their spicy cowboy - as well as the pizza fries. The wings came out piping hot & crispy alongside a good amount of ranch to dip in. The spicy cowboy doesn't feel that spicy when you're eating it, but the heat does creep up on you. The sweet chili was my favorite. The pizza fries came in an oven-fired skillet topped with mozzarella and some pepperoni as well as a bowl of marinara sauce to dip. Surprisingly I didn't like the pizza fries as much because it was kind of bland and heavy. But service was very personable and friendly in that small-town way; I'd be back if I'm ever in town again. read more

There's basically only 2 places in town to eat. We chose to eat here. It was busy because it was a Saturday night. Luckily we came early because as we were leaving they were on a 20 min wait. Cute, country atmosphere. The bar was nice . It was a much nicer setup than I expected. We ordered a pizza, calzone, and stromboli. They have a range of food on their menu. I wanted the fried zucchini or mushrooms, they looked really good but wasn't that hungry. Our food was good. The waitress was very attentive. It's Saturday night and My daughter offered to get take out for me at a local restaurant called Robbies in Rimrock Az. My first time try. I ordered the Az Mex burger $11.50 with garlic fries($1.99 extra) Burger listed as pepper jack cheese, bacon, guacamole, battered jalapeño, and "Fixin 's." She brought it home and it had no cheese no bacon no battered jalapeños and no garlic on the fries which were soggy plain fries. She called to register her dissatisfaction. Only to be told it would be reported to cook or owner. No offer of credit or replacement. Bad business practice in an economy struggling to recover. Cannot recommend this place for food. It was rumored to me the food was inconsistent. Now I know. read more

While I was excited to see a pizza joint offer a Hearty amount of toppings on a pizza I was a little disappointed when it arrived To the table. While are the toppings were good The crust had very strange taste. I had to add a lot of red pepper from the shaker to counterbalance it and still couldn't avoid it. I have enjoyed consistently delicious menu offerings as well as authentic friendly service here on numerous occasions. Robbie's has quickly become my new favorite local restaurant. The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is reliably quick and welcoming. They certainly know how to make you feel right at home! There is often live music several nights a week and always a huge diversified menu of yummy food and drinks available to delight your taste buds. There really is no reason to go anywhere else!! This was our 2nd time getting take out and I'm sorry to say we were disappointed this time. The elk burger was barely a burger (and tasted like a frozen patty) and the chicken sandwich was so thin the bun was thicker. This could be a good provider issue, though not certain. The kids chicken nuggets were over cooked. The other thing, I arrived to pick up our order, only to find out it hadn't even been started. So, I had to wait another 25 minutes for it to be prepared. After a hot morning of exploring Montezuma's Castle, we took a recommendation from a guy at the gift shop and headed to Robbie's for lunch. As we walked in, it was clear that Robbie's is a locals fav (always a good sign), when we were treated to a large group cutting cake and singing happy birthday, complete with one person taking the high descant harmony. I flashed back to the scene in My Best Friends Wedding where the group sings "I Say A Little Prayer For You' in harmony at the restaurant - but I digress. Back to Robbie's. Robbie's is a little treasure in Rimrock, AZ. The people are friendly, the deco makes you smile and reflects the town, it's hometown-cozy, and the food is GOOD. My blueberry lemonade hit the spot on that hot day. Between us we tasted the Elk Chili with Fry Bread, pizza balls, jalapeño cheese curds, and philly cheese steak sandwich. All delicious. I watched locals kibitz at the bar with a very busy bartender whose t-shirt said he was "kicking it in Rimrock", had a lovely chat with the waitress who told me she moved away for awhile but ultimately came back "home" with her daughter, and met Robbie, who was very busy prepping for Sunday's new breakfast menu - but still took time to talk to us, make sure our food was good, and indulge me in a picture. read more

My husband and I wanted to try a new place, so came here last night. I was unimpressed from the minute we walked in. Sparse tacky decor, no atmosphere and an awkward flow and layout. My husbands salmon was in a deep dish bowl and my fish and shrimp were served in a plastic basket. I asked for a plate but after 10 minutes my husband tried to hunt one down, then waitress brought a miniature plate!This was a lousy dinner for $14 to $145 each. Bartender spent the entire time we were there, talking to every man in the restaurant. Never did she once check on us & WE WERE SITTING AT THE BAR!!!!! I asked for a bloody mary, not spicy. 15 minutes later, I finally had to wave my hand for some service, because she was to busy in a conversation with some guy at the bar! Literally, ignored everyone!!! When I finally got her attention to ask for a beer instead, I told her that I didn't care for the bloody mary. It was to spicy, COMP THE DRINK!!! YOU MADE IT SPICY!! She never bothered to ask me how it was. After waiting 45 MINUTES for our lunch, I asked the bartender to give us our lunch to go. She didn't even bother to ask us why. She simply put our food in a bag...never said she was sorry, never asked us if there was something else she could do for us. She slapped our guest check in front of us and walked away Not a word uttered!! So a BIG FAT ZERO WAS HER TIP. ROBBIE, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF WHO YOU EMPLOY. ADDING INSULT TO INJURY, OUR FOOD WAS ICE COLD. We only live 5 minutes away. The ham on my sandwich was so thick, and the turkey was in crumbles, it was terrible. The bacon wasn't even warmed & virtually no mayo. Lettuce was brown & the tomato slices were soggy. The BBQ chicken caeser wrap was horrible. Same crappy lettuce & tomatoes. Who waits 45 minutes for a club sandwich & a chicken wrap? Will never eat there again. Sad, so very sad. I will make sure EVERYONE knows how Robbie's doesn't care about their diners. read more

While I hate to give a bad review, I must be honest. Our waitress, JD was prompt and sweet but the food was subpar. We're from north Phoenix and know that things are done a little different over the mountain. Beef dip sandwich was dry and tasteless. Took over an hour to get our food. Fries were wrong, shepherds pie came out 15 minutes after the other dishes. Menu was inaccurate. NOT kid friendly! No mask mandates. Still tipped $20 on a $40 bill, you should ALWAYS tip well, regardless! Would not recommend. read more

On a recent visit to Rimrock Arizona my family stopped at a local restaurant grab a quick lunch. Not knowing the area I asked for a recommendation from the hotel proprietor as to where she would go. Based on that recommendation we drove down the road about 2 miles and stop at Robbie's. Considering the size of the town I did not expect to see such a nice well-managed and clean operation. Upon entering I was quickly met by one of the staff given a table and within a minute someone came over to ask what we had wanted to drink. Looking over the menu we found some interesting items That were common restaurant items. We ordered the Angus burger, I mac & cheese with meatloaf, and a pool pork sandwich. When the meals arrived they were perfect as to what we had ordered and all the food was excellent. The one stand out was the mac & cheese and meatloaf. The mac & cheese was very tasty with a lot of cheese. Meatloaf had to be close to a pound of meat. HINT, if you order some of these meals you may want to share for two people. The price is very competitive considering the quality of the food and the service. All in all it was a surprise and pleasure to find a small very well run restaurant in a very small town. Finally, when ask about dessert I asked for my favorite coconut cream pie. I was really not hungry but I couldn't pass up a good piece of pie which I ate the next morning for breakfast. read more

This place is awesome! We arrived at closing time and the staff still sat us down for a meal. We order a small supreme pizza and a grill chicken salad. BEST PIZZA EVER! All of the ingredients were fresh, not canned! You can't ask for a better pizza! Grilled chicken salad was fresh and quite delicious. The staff were professional and very welcoming! The pizza here is AWESOME! We're so glad we stopped here on our way down to the valley from Flagstaff. The wings were really good too! They had a great lunch special for a pizza and six wings. They also have TVs with sports on and the beer and food are really good. Definitely visit this gem if you are on I-17 near McGuireville/Cottonwood! I'm so tired of the inconsistency of this restaurant! The service if you dine in is horrible yet I "used" to love the Friday fish fry to go except another issue at robbys! I've always gotten 6 pieces of fish...this time only 4...even after I asked whoever took my order on the phone if there was 6 pieces still & she said yes I only got 4 in my box! Just like the burger patties they have..frozen! Unless u pay an obnoxious amount for real burgers..who does this?? Unbelievable bad service every time & the guys cooking in the back don't look very clean & they all have facial hair which is bad as a cook!
