This was our first time dining at Robke's and it was exceptional. We went at 445 on a Friday and were surprised to see how packed it was. We shared the Pork Chop Martini and the Mac and Cheese with Steak. Truly both were exceptional. The Pork Chop Martini was unlike anything either of us have ever had before. Looking forward to going back!

We arrived around noon on Thursday, party of 5, were lucky and got a spot right away as well as a table inside. Our waiter Mike was attentive and personable. We ordered drinks, I had a Hugo Spritz which was lovely. We started with Cappellini cakes which were outstanding in a vodka sauce. We had the Bronx chicken cutlet Parmesan without the peppers, gluten free penne, broccoli rabe with Cajun chicken, a chicken schnitzel and the Linguini Chop Chop. Everyone raved about the meal, the food was outstanding! We will be back soon.

Good food, my complaint ? The three bugs that I hate to even write that we found crawling and the flies. Otherwise- honestly food wise it was absolutely delicious and lived up to every review I've ever heard about for Robkes. You want to plan to get there early and just prepare to park elsewhere, it is a tiny lot. There's some outdoor seating and indoors. We all had espresso martinis and split an appetizer for the table and a two entrees. We decided on trying the spicy shrimp, it was good, as a spicy girl it could have been spicier but great taste and everyone loved it. We ordered the pappardelle Segreta and Pork Chop Martini. Both were absolutely delicious! Both tasted absolutely fresh and flavorful. We ended with a desert that was nice and refreshing.

Came here for lunch on Memorial Day-5/25/26-and sat at the bar. I ordered the Pork Chop Martini. It lives up to its reputation: very tasty. However, the breading got progressively mushy as I ate the pork chop. The portion was huge, and the price was affordable. I also had a glass of Coke. Total price: $20. Rob took my order, and Javier served me. I wish Rob had been more attentive because I had to flag down another bartender to replenish my soda. Another negative is that it was so loud inside! I could hardly hear myself think--perhaps it was because of the holiday. Remember to bring CASH, and if you are Blessed, you will find a parking space in their tiny lot. Otherwise, park across the street at Stop and Shop, like I did. 3.5 stars rounded up to 4.

We have visited Robkes countless times, and it never lets us down. The food is homemade and incredibly delicious. We enjoyed an amazing Beet Salad with grilled chicken and the Chicken Milanese. The staff treats you feel like family and the atmosphere is cozy Robke's is an excellent option for authentic Italian cuisine. The restaurant is small and it does get crowded and the parking is difficult but you just have be patient.

We went with a group of 6 ladies on a Sunday for an early dinner. We were all very happy with everything from the lively vibe of the place to the excellent staff to the yummy food. All the hype about the place is legit. We loved the Caesar & The Beet salads . We loved the crispy chicken cutlet. We really enjoyed our drinks. We didn't really love their meatball appetizer and the Pork-chop Martini was just okay. We all agreed we will be coming back for sure.

Five giant stars for the food! The back of the house, crushed it once again. Two stars to the front of the house. Our server got lost, which seems difficult because the place is so small. We were out for a very special celebration and never had a chance to get dessert since when we finally flagged our waiter down we were just happy to get the check. They have a lot of specials, but they don't tell you what they are and they don't give you a separate menu. To view the specials you have to leave your seat and shlep through the narrow, crowded spaces and traverse to the front of the restaurant where they are on chalkboard. This seems silly especially for elderly patrons. We will be back, of course, because the food is so good but I wish the service was better.

This was the second time hubby and I decided to go to Robke's for a lunch date. The first time we ordered way too much food so we restrained a little this time. We arrived about 12:30 and as expected the small parking lot was full but a car happened to be leaving just as we pulled in, what luck! Last time we had to park across the street..although parking is scarce, there is plenty of seating inside. Hubby loves his Expresso martini so we each ordered a cocktail. Have to say, the Expresso martini is pretty strong but pretty yummy. My Mia spritz was refreshing but lol the ice waters it down. Pasta e fagioli for hubby and breaded artichokes for me. The fagiole soup wasn't as thick as we're used to from other restaurants but flavor was just right. The artichokes were a little too lemony for hubby but I enjoyed it. The pork chop martini was the dish hubby missed out our first time and as he didn't leave anything on the plate, I'm guessing he enjoyed it. The flavor of the penne alla Mia was good, the pasta slightly over al dente for me but still enjoyable, just too much quantity so I ended up taking it home. Dinner for tomorrow! We opted for no dessert. lol odd point but we had dessert last time and noticed the waiters go to a building next door to get the desserts. Just curious what they do when it's rainy as the desserts literally are transported on the dishes they are served to patrons. Couldn't do 5 stars because it wasn't absolutely amazing but everything we had was pretty solid so I don't give 4 stars lightly.

The food is always so good here! The lunch special is seriously the best deal you'll get anywhere. The artichoke oreganota is delicious, the baked clams are amazing, and the penne a la vodka is a must and definitely ask for it spicy with their peppers! Great spot for families, and the staff is always so attentive and nice. Just a heads up: it's cash only, but they do have an ATM inside. It can get super packed and loud, but that's because it's good!

IYKYK (If you know, you KNOW)!!!!!! Robke's has an impressive social media presence and a cast of characters as its employees. A few caveats: Parking can be a challenge. Leave plenty of time to drive around and find a spot. They do not have regular coffee, only espresso or cappuccino. They are cash only, so make sure you hit the ATM before you go. Other than that, here is my honest review, after going there multiple times, on different days of the week and at different times of the year. They have a few signature dishes, but my highest accolades go to two of them: pork chop martini (also available with chicken), and their linguini "chop chop". The former is a pounded pork chop served with a white wine sauce and topped with hot cherry peppers. This is served with roasted potatoes. I've never had anything like it, including the ones other places try to duplicate. No one can top theirs. The "chop chop" is actually a seafood sauce over pasta (chop chop=cioppino). Imagine fresh seafood, dominated by clams, with a memorable sauce over al dente pasta. WOW. Their service is unique. They run a fast-paced and efficient restaurant. You won't wait for water, bread, or your meal. Do not mistake their crisp pace for rudeness; they are all about keeping the flow of things moving. Each and every server is personable and will be happy to recommend dishes or educate you on some of their "must-try" items. From firsthand experience, I can tell you they care for their customers. On a busy night, before attending a show at the theater on Main Street (it is a short drive from there!), I brought my mom, who uses a wheelchair. The second we walked in, they helped usher us to seats and were extremely accommodating. Those who dine with small children or elderly people with mobility issues can appreciate when a restaurant actually cares about its customers as human beings, all worthy of the same treatment and dining experience. Robke's is also Dining Deal Foodie approved: try their weekday lunch. $20 gets you a lunch that will keep you full until the next morning. Highly recommend!

Met friends here who live it here. Packed at 1:00 on a Monday....parked across the street. Great attentive service from Mike. The food was amazing- everything we ordered--- delicious! Even the bread was excellent. No room for dessert, and lots of leftovers. The food: I ordered two appetizers-eggplant caponata and Roman artichokes oreganata--excellent! My husband's linguini chop chop was delicious as well. Actually, everything we had was exceptional, especially the red snapper which I had a small taste ( see the photos !) A must go to!!!

Base my reviews off what you pay: Food - 4/5 - food taste great, massive portions. Service - 2/5 - multiple servers, no interaction. Ambiance - 2/5 - jammed, no real vibe. Overall - 3/5 - you only come here for the food. Food taste solid and you get massive portions for what you pay. Service leaves a lot to be desired, had multiple servers and all over the place. No real ambiance, you feel on top of other people, goes for a mix of sports bar and Italian restaurant.

What time do they serve lunch?

    11:30 on.

Does this restaurant offer any gluten-free options? I don't see any on the menu.

Should I try coming here on a Saturday night or will it be too crowded?

Especially this time of year like most good restaurants it's a mob scene. Even with a reservation you will wait an hour.

Do they have private dining room for private party?

It's a small back room that could be a little noisy. Overall a very fun place where everyone is treated extremely well. Food is over the top great!
