To shorten what is a long and boring story, I "paid " the full amount of my loan with them, by credit card. The amount I paid was directly FROM THE BILL THEY HAD SENT ME, not an estimate, but a clear bill. So I paid the entire amount ON THE BILL off, including a late fee I had accrued. When I went to find my car title, I realized I had never received it when I paid off the car. They had sent "bills" but since I had moved and expected nothing , after paying off amount, I hadn't seen them. When I do call they show me a bill in which I owe the "interest " I they had charged me, in the month of my last billing statement. Again, this was interest they had charged me on their and not stated any amount! What ended up being their extraordinary "explanation" when I went in to get the title and sort it out, is that they DONT INCLUDE THE AMOUNT OF INTEREST THEY HAVE CHARGED YOU ON THE BILL YOU ARE PAYING! They send you a follow up "receipt" that breaks it down, but they do not put it in the breakdown of the very bill you have in your hand. Notice the good reviews on here are all that they were desperate, had bad credit (I was) and they act NICELY. Which they do! While screwing you over for every penny possible. I ended up paying not only $244 (the hidden from the bill interest for the month I paid) but additional interest for not knowing I owed them this money. I went into this with my eyes open, yes. Any company in the business of "giving" people loans that charge upwards of 27% interest are seriously questionable company. But this last move is so blatantly unethical the word needs to be spread far and wide ACME FINANCIAL PREY ON THE DESPERATE AND POOR, BUT DO IT WITH A SMIlE!

He took advantage of that because he could and because it got him a few more bucks on top of his commission. Shame on you Kevin Auld and the management that encourages that kind of behavior and mistreatment. Kevin also assured me that the car was certified by the manufacturer. When I asked about the certification agreement while signing paperwork, Kevin told me the certification from the manufacturer was built into the sales agreement because of the arrangement that dealership has with Hyundai. I understand the mentality of getting the customer in the door and closing the sale, but there was nothing about this transaction that made me feel comfortable enough to give them my business. In fact, it actually pushed me away. He tried to sell me a car that I did not like. Because I was limited in the cars that I could choose from, I asked how often they got inventory. I would've still considered this place if they brought in a car that I actually was interested in, but NOPE! He was adamant about selling me a car at that very moment. During the first hour of our appointment I felt like he was really trying to help. We had good conversation and he had really helpful advice etc. But something told me not to be so naive. I told him I wanted a couple days to think about it and right away his demeanor changed. I could tell he started to get upset by the way he was banging on his keyboard to look at other options. He told me that with every dealership I go to to "shop" that my credit would keep sinking. Which is true, but I feel like if you really wanted to help me, you would've given me the best deal prior to me walking out the door. I contacted him the next day to tell him I changed my mind and that I wanted a refund of my down payment. 3 days later I get a text saying "what if we get you a lower rate, lower payment, less down?" Moral of the story, car salesman are there to SELL. Sadly, not all of them are there to help you. Having bad credit might make you feel helpless and desperate but if you can, you should seek other options. Don't just bite right away. I ended up going to 2 other dealerships after my experience here and I ended up purchasing the car that I wanted for $2k less than what I was offered here.

ONE STAR IS TOO GENEROUS…read more STAY AWAY. STAY FAR FAR AWAY from this company. The irony here is that they're called 'Reliable' when they're anything but. A while ago I financed through this company. Let me tell you the various and unbelievable things they did. On one occasion, unbeknownst to me, they waited an entire month to cash the check for my car payment. So when the next payment rolled around, they took out both payments at the same time. That was to my fiscal detriment as I thought my money was counted for at the time and wouldn't you know it, a check bounced. After that I only paid with money orders. Thought that solved the problem but nope. They called me the next month to tell me my check bounced again. When I informed them I paid with a money order, they hung up. Eventually I moved out of state and informed when afterwards. They said it was a violation of the terms and my car would be repossessed if I didn't pay it off. Luckily I had the remains $3500 balance and sent a cashiers check in that amount. My intuition told me to send it verified mail so someone would have to sign for it. After a few days I checked my mailing reference number to see if the check had been received. Unfortunately I kept getting errors so I called Reliable and was told that it was never received. They informed me that I would have to continue making payments on the vehicle until I can get another check for the balance. That didn't make sense. You wouldn't allow me to make payments because I moved out of state but now I can make additional payments until check for my balance shows up? After a very stressful week of checking my reference number for delivery of the check and talking to various employees at Reliable who had the same story (check never delivered) I finally had a stroke of luck. Turns out I was entering the wrong reference number and the check had been delivered and signed for a week prior. They had the check the whole time. After relaying this information to an employee I was told someone would call me back. Someone called me that evening and said, I kid you not "We found your check in the trash can earlier today." So you mean to tell me someone threw a check for $3500 in the trash and it sat there for a week? Your garbage sits in the office for a week at a time eh? To make things worse they never even reported to the credit bureaus that I paid the car off! I filed a complaint with BBB and they responded basically calling me a liar. Fortunately I have good credit now but even if I didn't, I'd rather throat a cactus than deal with Unreliable Credit ever again.
