Very impressive and well designed bar, restaurant, patio and overall venue. Went last night to have dinner and listen to the live band (Blues Hammer). Food: I can never resist fish and chips, and was very impressed. I received half of a fish! It was an impressive fillet. Beer batter breading was awesome and the fish was perfectly cooked. Fries were fresh, hot and well seasoned. Slaw was nice. Beer: lots of taps and even have Paulaner Hefe Weizen! Beer temp and presentation perfect (correct properly cleaned glass clearly have properly cleaned/maintained lines/pressure/taps). Bartenders and wait staff: all professional, attentive and upbeat! Band: Blues Hammer rocked the house! Band interacted well with the house and the performance was awesome (did not expect this on a Wednesday night). They even nailed my favorite BB King song! Been there twice now and both times I've had to educate the wait staff on their rotating taps. First time, the waitress was just confused when I asked for a beer listed on the rotating taps screen by the bar. She did go and check and told me they did not have that beer anymore. The second time, I was flat out told they only carry beers on the printed menu. Even after I pointed out that the beer was listed on the rotating menu at the bar, she still insisted that the beer was not on the printed menu so they did not have it. After showing it was on the rotating taps screen by the bar, she said she would check and I was told, they just ran out of that beer as well. I'm beginning to think that the rotating beer selection is just a scam to get people in or the wait staff needs some better education on the "brews" at Rock & Brews. read more

Our Daughter got her food 15 min before our food and she dropped her glass on the plate that shattered it and it took 3 minutes before anyone came over to check and help clean it up the the proceeded to go back and remake her meal and bring it out before my son and I got our food and it was another 5-10 min before my wife got her SALAD . ( our order kids chicken fingers , kids pizza , blackened chicken pasta , and a Nashville hot salad) would not recommend I will not be stepping foot back here again read more

If you come here for the food you will be disappointed unless you are a fan of a grade below Chili's. There is no signature, or over the top dish that makes you want to return for the food or talk about with friends. They didn't even get a little creative - really boring non-memorable bar food. Not even an item on the menu that has a rock name or lyric attached to it. As far as build out goes and atmosphere I would say the build out is good in particular the outdoor area and bar, but atmosphere was just meh. Slapping up some painted pictures of rock legends as decor - how lazy and predictable. I get that this isn't the Hard Rock Cafe, but some rock memorabilia would lend for some better eye-candy. Think even Meddlesome Moth in Dallas - the stained glass Trinity (Elvis, Chuck Berry, and Jerry Lee Lewis) is not only cool but far more memorable than anything in Rock & Brews. We are locals, first time here. EXCELLENT store design and construction. Abundance of space for tables, has a covered "outdoor" patio that is almost like an enclosed room, spacious, fresh air in the evening via the sliding wall panels, misters and fans. Service was OUTSTANDING, we sat at the bar which is our favorite seating and the staff last night 7-10-24 were totally on their game. We wanted for nothing. The food was outstanding!!!! Started with the Poppers, excellent cheese and breading. I had a half-rack of baby back ribs, I shit you not, these were the BEST restaurant ribs I've ever had, hands down. Fall off the bones, very meaty, no fat, perfect and I mean, perfect smoke with a drizzle of some kind of sauce on top that just rocked my world. Fries were so damn good, perfect seasoning and perfect cook time. Wife had just a basic burger that was OUTSTANDING. They grind their burger meat in-house with a very unusual ratio, something like 73/27. It was an excellent tasting burger patty. We both had a house salad that was served very cold, crispy and fresh. I must say, I am VERY impressed with the food and honestly, entered a bit skeptical thinking it was going to be just another bla bla bar food experience. Nope, really good grub. I was very happy with the service just now when I ordered a refreshing adult beverage and was served promptly with a smile. I sat enjoying the music and watching sports on TV but was entertained the most by the nightmarish lady sat near me. How the staff remained so professional and polite, I'll never know. This lady was so rude and entitled it took my breath away. The way she spoke to the staff here was terrible. I was very impressed by the polite, flexible manner in which they handled her unpleasantness. After she left,threatening to leave a bad review, for no food reason, just trying to make herself feel a big shot, I felt compelled to leave a review here. Sitting here was a pleasant friendly way to wait for my flight back to the UK and I hope the hard working staff here don't have that lady's arrogant nonsense to deal with. Recommended! read more

Super Kudos to the bartenders and the kitchen staff! The drinks were perfect and the food... Best burger and the fries were to die for! The purple rain drops were fantastic! The only mediocre part of the visit was the flakey waitress who made mistakes in the order and would dissappear, forgot the request for an additional napkin, brought the wrong drinks, etc. Will definitely go back soon! read more

Food was good. Service wasn't bad (our server was nice and pretty attentive, but she never introduced herself). What I took issue with is that we were told there would be a 25-minute wait, despite seeing a few open tables. We did try to find some open seating at the bar, but we decided to wait for a table instead. One of the open tables was a high-top near the bar, and this is where we were eventually sat after our wait. When we pointed out that this table had been open the whole time, we were told it was a reservation but that the group supposedly changed their minds and wanted to take their food to go. Didn't sound totally believable. I think they were just trying to pace the customers. Again, the food was good, so that was their saving grace. read more

Met some buddies here for dinner and a few beers. The atmosphere was great, good vibe and music. We mostly had appetizers and burgers, all were good. I was stoked about the fish option. Unfortunately, the batter was terrible. Malt vinegar was disappointing. Others ordered burgers. So glad I didn't. My wife and I visited last Tuesday evening. Got there around 7. The place didn't look too busy so we went inside and stood by the hostess stand for over a minute. Employees passed us by, but no one acknowledged our presence. Finally a nice gentleman asked if we had been helped. We told him we hadn't and he asked if we wanted to sit inside or on the patio. When we told him outside, he said it was seat yourself outside. He walked us outside and cleaned off a table for us. We asked if he was our server, too. He said that wasn't his station. We wish he would have been our server. Everything went downhill from there. The server assigned to our section, finally stopped by. She had a "what a bother I have customers" attitude. We ordered the beer battered fish & chips and the side salad. We didn't get our salad and another server delivered our fish & chips. When we asked about our salad, he apologized and said he would bring it shortly. The fish came with tartar sauce. When the server returned with our salad, I asked for cocktail sauce. I was told they didn't have cocktail sauce. MY PET PEEVE -- RESTAURANTS THAT SERVE SEAFOOD WITHOUT THE AVAILABILITY OF COCKTAIL SAUCE. GUESS WHAT? IF YOU HAVE KETCHUP AND HORSERADISH SAUCE, YOU CAN MAKE COCKTAIL SAUCE. If you're going to serve seafood, make sure you either have cocktail sauce or the ability to make it on short notice. The salad was extremely small. Would have been acceptable as a $1.99 add on, but for a $4.99 add on, it was nothing but a ripoff. Was hoping for a new, fun, casual dining experience in Grapevine. Sadly, Rock & Brews disappointed. We may give it one more try, but unless they improve their service, this place won't become part of our restaurant rotation. read more

Visited this location for the first time and we were so impressed. We sat on the big, well cooled patio to see one of our favorite bands play. The restaurant was very busy, but our server, Greg, was the best! He was clearly hustling to serve all of his tables, and was right on point with our drinks and food. We did not have to wait long on anything. The food was good, I had the beef birria sandwich and could only finish half, huge portion! My friend had blackened salmon with a crawfish topping, he said that it was great. Highly recommend, and ask for Greg to serve you, he was awesome! read more

Great atmosphere and amazing food. My party of 6 all enjoyed the food and drinks. The service was ok. Our server seemed annoyed and not in the best mood, but our food got there and we were checked up on. They need to address the drink orders here. Our beers sat at the bar from 5-7 minutes before they were picked up and delivered. If they can get that addressed I'd bump it up a star. I'll be back for sure! read more

Not super impressed... stopped in for lunch, on a Saturday, and the place was not super busy. upon entering, was asked if we wanted to be seated inside or outside for which we chose outside (it was a nice day). upon finding a table, we sat down and waited for service to arrive which too far too long. When our order arrived, the food was good but not as good as expected. The food was cooked properly and looked good but just did not feel we received the value for our money. Thee wait staff was pleasant but not near as attentive as one would hope for in this type of restaurant. At this point, not sure if this would be a repeat.
