I had the yellow submarine which includes a delicious pineapple sauce. I do not eat meat and they gladly substituted the beef patty for chicken breast. The bun was buttery perfection. Ok local burger place. Nothing special. They have a rock theme going on and the place is clean but it feels like it's been done before. The food was ok, but the price was a little too high for the fries and there is no fountain machine. Let me just say that I was referred here by my son who's 23. My husband and I went in with good expectations and left with GREAT ones. From the moment we walked in, the young man behind the counter taking our order was on the ball and quick. He gave us the run down on all their special burgers and fries. Once we placed our order, he began cleaning all the tables to make sure the place looked as it should. My husband even mentioned how efficient he was. The food was phenomenal! i had a rocky my buger plain and simple, with mozzarella and garlic mayo and it had to be one of the best burgers i have ever eaten ! my boyfriend got the yellow subarime buger which came with a pureed pineapple type sauce and he loved it! fries are delish too! Over priced for a hamburger. Nothing special about the meat nor the size. They use a lot of salt in the seasoning and use prepackaged foods for sauces. Everything is ala carte . Fries were frozen. Soda is cans only. The place was clean but empty. Saw one person walk in take a look at the prices and walked out. Paid almost $14.00 for a burger , fries and a (1) bottled beer. Rock That Burger was ok, nothing out of the ordinary. Tried the Ring of Fire everyone was raving about and was not that impressed. Found it to be overly greasy, but has lots of flavor. I also think they may have mixed up my order with my friend's who ordered the same thing but with no jalapeño. Great little burger joint and more. Been frequenting this establishment back when they were in a food truck, The Yellow Submarine. Great selection of burgers, hot dogs, sides and even tacos. The music is awesome as the name împlies if you dine in or wait to go. Decor is rock centric and pretty cool with all the band posters and musical instruments. Menu items are all named for popular songs and they have a large selection for differing palettes. I really like there Paradise City hot dog and Yellow Submarine burger. Definitely drop in if you are in the area, but worth the drive if you are not. Not your run of the mill burger joint, that's for sure. read more

The only questionable thing about this place is that the burgers take about 20 minutes to cook, but honestly they're worth it. The Money burger is my personal favorite, and it happens to be the best burger I have ever had. You can taste all of the unique ingredients that this burger has, and that's what makes this place special. The chef cooks his burgers to perfection and I never leave disappointed. I'm definitely a girl who loves a good burger for basically any meal of the day. In fact, in 2014, I'm pretty sure my first three meals (B,L,D) were all burgers. You gotta know your strengths, people. As a result, when a new burger spot in the Kendall area pops up, it is immediately on my radar. In spite of the somewhat inconsistent reviews, we decided on Rock That Burger for lunch a few weekends ago. The place is small and unassuming, in the shopping center across 117th Avenue from BJ's. We walked in and only one of the six or seven tables were occupied; it was a bit late (330?) for lunch, so I wasn't too off-put by this. Decor seemed cool and menu looked great... then the downhill started. To begin, our ordering experience was less than stellar. The woman taking our order at the register did not appear to speak much English, and even trying to order our burgers and sides in Spanish seemed to confuse her. She asked questions about the order multiple times, and even had to come back out to our table and confirm that my mom did not want pickles on her burger (after my mom had repeated it 4 times at the register). As a result, I wasn't overly shocked when our burgers were either missing toppings or included things we didn't ask for; however, I was SO hungry that I figured I could live without the fresh jalapenos and pull off any of the evil vegetable (lettuce) and move along. As for the food experience, my best response is "meh." The burgers were good, but there was nothing about them that blew me away. My brother and I both had the Ring of Fire, while my parents both had the Hotel California. My brother commented that the cilantro mayo on his burger was too much and overwhelmed the patty, making me glad I had asked for the sauce on the side; my dad didn't even receive sauce on his burger, so I guess it was a day of taking what you could get. In reality, my burger patty tasted like someone bought some patties at Costco, seasoned them, and threw on some toppings; tasty, but not something I couldn't necessarily make at home with a bit of effort. I will say the burger toppings (sans jalapenos, because those somehow didn't make it to the burger) added a nice touch, although the burger definitely could have used more grilled onions. I felt similarly about the fries and the onion rings; good, but nothing blowing me away. I did like their sauces, but I feel that's another pretty basic step as a burger joint. Overall, the saving grace of this place is that it is very affordable, especially compared to other "crafty" burger places; a burger, fries and drink can run you under $15 here, where a burger alone could run you $12-$15 at other places. That said, it's not somewhere I'd frequent weekly, given the extent of burger shops across Miami. I have hope for this place, but I just don't think it has quite achieved its dreams just yet. read more

The hamburger is very, very good. The menu is awesome (I mean the actual menus, very creative presentation). The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the onion rings which are not good at all and the fact that they messed up my burger order although they took care of that immediately.
