We placed our orders at the front counter and the gentleman who was helping us explained the differences between their products. I paid and took a seat. Food and drinks: 3 of 5 I only had the garlic fries and a few beers. Garlic fries were pretty good, the beers were served in a disposable plastic cup. do I wish they were in glass pints? Yes. The price however reflected the way it was served, in my opinion. Price: 3 of 5 I felt it was a tad bit over priced for what it is personally. This place has really scrumptious burgers and fries for a great price. The cashier gave us a great tip about ordering the meal with fries and a drink to save some money. I really appreciate stuff like that. She was taking care of the customers in the whole place with refills, filling up ketchup, etc. I definitely recommend coming here. The dining area was clean and the music was super fun! I ordered the bacon and cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese. It was a thick grilled patty seasoned well. Came here for dinner on a Sunday night with my brother and sister and it wasn't very busy. When I walked in I thought the place looked nice inside. The service I experienced was subpar while ordering my food. I feel like this place is over priced for what you get. I ordered a double cheese burger and chocolate shake and it came out to almost 15 bucks, not including fries. My burger was really good and so was my shake but I feel that it's not with what I paid. If I'm spending 10-11 bucks on a burger I would expect it to come with fries. While I think this place is nice overall, I don't feel like I'll be coming back here anytime soon. read more

My friend and I came from Livermore just to try this place after I saw several reviews. Parking is a hot mess, not convenient at all actually. But I wanted to try this place. Maybe they had an off day but it was expensive and my friends burger was way way overdone to the point it was hard to eat but because of the cost he choked it down. Good food, great atmosphere, great staff I brought a fairly large group for my birthday and the staff was very friendly and accomadating. We all hung out for a while, and even though its a order-at-the-front kind of place, the cashier checked on our group multiple times. The cook staff was very friendly and engaged, and wished me a happy birthday also. The burger tasted great, could be more substantial, but still worth it. Cost a little more for a burger place, but very much worth it. Red Rocket also was helpful in supporting local college students by working with our club at school. I'm very pleased with Red Rockets on many levels and it gets a high recommendation from me anyday. read more

This place initially sold me on the ambiance, but would never come back for a few reasons. The time it took to prepare and deliver our food, overly expensive, and inattentive staff. My girlfriend and I were the only customers in the restaurant when we came in and I thought that equates to prompt service, I was wrong. We didn't receive our food for over 30 min. Came here for an early dinner one night after an early movie. The service is exceptional. The guy taking our order was very knowledgable and super friendly. I JUST HAVE NOTHNG GOOD TO SAY ABOUT THIS PLACE! First, this young lady told me I have to wait for a few minutes because they're backed up. (It's a Sunday afternoon around 1 pm and there's only one table with a party of 3 eating in the corner and another table of 2 that just ordered; so let's use our imagination about hectic must be in their kitchen). Then she tells me just so we know everything will take about 20 minutes which at first was fine. So she took our order and when I'm ready to pay I handed my cash, they tell me that they cannot take my $100 bill. Unfortunately it's all I have. I guess this place doesn't care at all about losing customers. And I'm the type that likes to help and support small businesses but I guess my money is no good for them. We ate here for lunch about a week ago. The menu was well laid out, the smell coming from the grill was good, so we decided to try it out. The guy who took our order was super nice, and gave good advice. That being said, the food wasn't worth the money. 25 bucks for a charred piece of meat with no flavor, low quality blue cheese, and a sort of pathetic piece of cheese on my mushroom and swiss burger. The fries were super generic, and the over all flavor experience was bland. If it had been between 15-20 dollars it wouldn't have been so bad, but for 25 dollars we could go across the street and get pretzel buns! I realize this isn't exactly the restaurant's fault, but my fiance got a refill, and they didn't press the top back on (it was super low quality and bent under the pressure instead of going over the lip, so when he went to drink out of it, the drink spilled all over the table top. read more

Getting dinner before our movie. The order was messed up. The steak sandwich was tasty but small for the price. I didn't feel it was much of a value. The sandwich was well seasoned and had a good flavor. As I was hungry it didn't stand a chance to last more than 4 bites. The garlic fries were over salted. The most obnoxious part of the dinner experience was the broken hood to their stove that would not pull out much smoke. They said it worked but I doubt it. I felt like I was in a BBQ smoker with all of the heavy smoke filling the restaurant. They have good intentions but I'm sad to say I would give this place a pass! I was excited to hear they have the Impossible Burger, a fabulous vegan burger. However the bun is not vegan. It has egg in it. So if you are vegan or allergic to eggs, don't get the bun, which kind of defeats the point of a vegan ordering the Impossible Burger. :( read more

If you want a basic burger you can make at home for half the price, then this is the place for you. The buns are bagged buns that look like they are from costco, the actual burger isn't anything special, their sweet potato fries did not taste fresh, and with just one family in front of us (that only ordered 2 burgers and 2 fries), we waited 45 mins for our food. The strawberry shake is made with Hershey's syrup...nice a fake tasting. The facility itself is very small and crammed. When more people came in, there was absolutely no space. Damn, let me tell you. We've been here at least 6 times now and haven't been disappointed. The service is friendly and fast and the burgers are bombbbb! The char grill adds that extra flavor, add some garlic fries to that and it's heaven. Doesn't hurt that they have beer on tap and by the bottle when you eat inside. First time to this establishment. It started out ok. The cashier (Malcolm) was very nice and professional. He also made a good chocolate milkshake. There was only one customer in the place when I arrived. Our order took about 20 minutes. I ordered a classic with mayo and tomato. It arrived without the tomato. My husband took it back up to the cook who gave him attitude (which burger was it?). Look around numbskull we are the only people you served after that ONE customer before us. Then after eating several bites, I noticed something that looked like plastic laminated to the bottom of my bun. I peeled part of it off. My husband took it back up to the window again. The cooks said he thought it was just onion skin. Again with an attitude. Okay jack-wad, but I didn't even have onions on my burger, so why would I want anything, including onion skin, laminated to my bun. Got home, had to RUN to the bathroom. That says it all. I'm pretty sure the "cook" takes as much pride in his kitchen as he does in his customer service skills, which tells you that you are probably eating food from a dirty kitchen. Superficial tidiness/newness does not mean they are really utilizing good food handling practices. I'm surprised this place has 4 stars.
