Noticed sounds coming from our crawl space in the night and then - alarmingly - something scratching in the wall. Called Rodent Control and connected with Sam Fuchs. He was attentive and friendly, and came out to inspect our property immediately. Within 36 hours we had a whole team sealing up our house and setting traps, finishing the work that day even though it was pouring rain. When I noticed one spot that wasn't sealed up (hidden behind a trap door, so very easy to miss) he had someone back out within an hour to finish the job. Although it was not cheap, they were very thorough. They replaced all the mesh vent covers, custom built a new crawlspace cover, cleaned and sanitized the basement, etc. They came back to collect traps and then laid out more. So again, not cheap but at the same time, they clearly care about the final results, so we appreciate that. read more

Gave me an estimate explaining in very clear terms what the issues were. Full disclosure , we had three other companies come bid the job and while they were all solid , Moe was by far the best for very specific intuitive reasons. We had rats and it seemed like we could never get rid of them. We'd be rodent free for weeks and even months at a time but they always came back. Backstory... I used a couple big box relatively inexpensive pest control companies but they seemed to only put a bandaid on the actual issue. I called rodent control and Sam was sent out as our technician. I was hesitant because in comparison they are way more expensive than the companies I had used in the past but I guess you get what you pay for (that seems to have been one of the problems). The quote I was given was out of control. The technician had a major attitude. I went with a different company and payed a tiny fraction of the cost. The technician only took a quick look around my home and looked quickly into the attic. Jake and his team did an amazing job, they were quick and efficient. We had a rat in our attic that was destroying on the electrical cables. We tried our orkin service and purchased traps but nothing seemed to work. We called rodent control they came out for an estimate the same day we called. They gave us a reasonable estimate and the Job was done two days after the estimate was done. We are very satisfied with the excellent job that Lee Engel and his crew have provided yesterday. Having rodents invade your home is obviously highly unpleasant. We initially called a big box pest control company and were thoroughly unimpressed. We happened to get one of those coupon books in the mail and saw an ad for Rodent Control which led us to calling them. Jake came to survey the situation and immediately came across as highly knowledgeable and genuinely invested in helping us diagnose the problem and come up with a solution. Like other reviewer, we heard scratching in the ceiling confined to the back corner of the house and we knew we had to do something quickly. We had just a few months ago had the attic vacuumed out and all new insulation laid. The installers said that they had only seen very old droppings. We had provided the rodents a comfy new home, but we didn't want them moving in... We put in the request through Yelp and heard back very quickly. We then scheduled and Sam came, took a look around, and then explained what they would do if we hired them. Doing our due diligence, we wanted to get another quote, but couldn't get anyone out quickly and when questioned on the phone, no other company could offer what Sam had. I texted him the next day and then the next morning they were here to work. A small crew was here all day until they got it all done. They've already been back once to check the traps and so far nothing! We've also not heard any scratching in the ceiling since they've been here. Sam has been great about returning texts and answering my questions. Overall, we've been very happy with them and would definitely refer them to others. They are expensive (and they know it), but you do get more than from other companies. The only thing negative I did contact Sam about, was that we found small wire mesh clippings on the driveway. We were worried about these sharp bits getting in the dog's paws (or our own bare feet). The were very good about cleaning up in general, but these were missed. read more

After our TV system and camera cables were chewed and we actually heard "things" running around in our attic, we knew it was time to call the professionals. Gil scheduled an inspection for the next day. Dorian, a very professional inspector, went up to the attic, took pictures, and checked the perimeter of the house, pointing out the possible entry points into our home. He thoroughly explained what he found and the proposed remediation. Getting rid of rodents is expensive, but so is the damage they did to our automation system. And the rats were just getting started . . . . The crew that came the next day vacuumed, sanitized, and sprayed our attic with a pheromone scent that deters them from returning, and placed traps to kill any remaining rodents that got stuck inside. They closed off every possible entry point and were very willing to cover any other little spots that I found. It was very obvious that they wanted to do a thorough job the first time. Dorian was here in the morning when they started and returned to inspect the work at the end of the day. Today it has been 10 days since the remediation was performed, and Mario came to check the traps. He found one victim of their good work, and we hope that any other "guests" that were in the process of moving in found a different destination. We were referred to Rodent Control from our insulation company, as we'd had a rat problem for the last 5+ years in our attic and wanted to get it settled finally before laying down new insulation. The team arrived promptly and were thorough with checking the entire house, attic, and crawlspace, and sealing off areas where appropriate. It took a couple of hours, and when they left we heard one rat running around the attic that night, but were told that this was normal (the rat was likely hiding during the sealing process and was now stuck). Thankfully since then we haven't heard anything, and when the team returned later to check their traps they also found a dead rat. I just spoke to someone and asked if they offer free estimates as listed in their description and he told me, "No." He said it would cost me $129 to have someone come out and look at the place and if I choose their service, the amount would be deducted from the final bill. Jake came to look at the house and within minuets could pinpoint a few problem spots on the outside of our house, as well as the signs that they were feeding on a fruit tree in the back. I can't say enough good things about this company!!! They are truly experts in what they do....Very efficient, professional, and kind. I called them desperately looking for someone to come out right away and Mo arrived within 30 minutes of my call. He did a thorough inspection of the interior and exterior then patiently explained what he had found. He had also taken pictures of the problem areas which was very helpful. I was given a couple of options for taking care of the issues. Another thing I really appreciated about Mo was his honesty...unfortunately that is a rare trait nowadays!
