Came here with a large group from out of town, food and drinks were excellent. Very solid burger and fries. Fun drinks, the frozen Dr Pepper (has whisky) was not my normal choice of drink but it was quite good. Our group sort of took over the basement but let me tell you, our server was AMAZING! I was moving from group to group and he always found me to get me my drinks, the tabs were all perfect even with all the moving around and we never went without. He brought on help at some point and that young lady killed it too. Very impressed! There is a pool table in the basement. read more

Food & drinks were great, prices were impressive, but what we appreciated most was the staff! Yusuf was so kind & we truly used all his awesome recommendations throughout our stay! From the hotel holiday rooftop bar next door, to the phenomenal performer the next night, to his suggestion to check out Stockyard to really experience Texas! Savera and Steph were also amazing & kind! Yall truly had southern hospitality & began our trip in the best possible way! What a great place we visited 2 days in a row! I hadn't been to Rodeo in a minute, but had been a regular for over a year. Blue was behind the bar, recognized me, and was like I had never left. TLDR I had an issue with the food and sent it back. Chef David came out personally and ensured that everything was served to his standards, he explained the cooking process, and made sure I was happy. He even said next time I came in he wanted to say hello. Mistakes happen, and the level of after-care and service made any residual negative feelings melt away. I have eaten here maybe 50 times in the last 2 years when I worked downtown, this is the ONLY complaint I have ever had. These people CARE about their trade and I fully believe that should be rewarded. I walked out happier than when I walked in. Chef David and Blue, thank you. read more
