Very disappointed! Service was terrible (we had a party of 4) and the food was not good. The first plate I picked up at the salad bar had dried food stuck to it. Our waitress would forget what drinks we ordered. It took 20 minutes just to get an ice tea. The restaurant was not busy on a Saturday evening at 7pm. We did have 3 gentlemen that were very friendly and were consistent in coming around to serve various meats. Meat was either room temperature, overcooked and/or tough. Quality of food not good, including the salad bar. Very DISAPPOINTING and would not recommend even if it was cheaper in cost! $110.00 for 2 people which included 3 beers and an ice tea, wasted! Automatic stars for being a Brazilian steakhouse. However, the service was quite lacking at this location. I've never been to a Rodizio grill before but I've been to other Brazilian steakhouses and those were much more bang for your buck. My experience at Rodizio was all of the beef pretty much tasted the same and it all came out very rare. There also was a ton of lag time between servers brining us food, so I didn't feel like we really got our money's worth on the meat. The glazed bananas with cinnamon on the sides bar are amazing. The garlic steak was also delicious, along with the bacon wrapped chicken! read more

Went tonight Friday the 18th of September. Place was very clean and tables were spaced out for covid, staff was very nice. Now for the bad.....this is a Brazlian steakhouse and the few times we saw steak it was dry and not seasoned. In fact I saw pineapple and chicken hearts more than steak. We spent over $100 including tip(wasnt the servers fault) my wife did enjoy things from the hot bar, but we pay for meat! At $40 a person I can say I was extremely disappointed and would never recommend anyone to go here. The meat seemed cheap and surely not high quality, if you want a legit Brazilian steakhouse pay the money for fogo. The place was not very busy, I'm not sure if that's why the food wasn't as fresh? If you're thinking this is high end think again. Nothing against the staff or front end managed? They tried their best to make sure we were ok, the problem is in the kitchen and the menu. read more

Not completely thrilled. About the same price as Fogo with less options and not as good service. Waited 20 minutes for drinks, and even longer to have someone with meat come around. They can be tricky to make tender but the ones I had tonight were cooked perfectly. My husband and I also thought the lamb was done very nicely as well. I went to Rodizio recently to for a birthday dinner. There were 10 people in the party. We had a reservation, so we were seated promptly. Upon arriving at our table, we noticed that the plates were dirty. They staff quickly replaced the plates. Emily was our server. It appeared that she wasn't familiar with best way to manage a large group. There were a few inaccuracies with our drink order as she didn't walk around the table to take orders. The servers could have been more prompt with picking up dirty plates throughout the meal. Overall, the food was delicious. However, we did have an issue with two grilled items. The bone-in chicken was undercooked. While, the Swai fish was under seasoned and overcooked. All of the gauchos were very nice, especially Violet. With a smaller group we may have had a better service experience, but in terms of food it was mostly delicious. read more

Could very well be the worst dining experience I have ever had. I realize that getting people to work now is difficult, but their staff has no business working in a restaurant including the management. This was my second time dining there and I really didn't this time could be worse but it was. When we arrived the 3 ladies at the table told us we should go somewhere else because for a Brazilian Steakhouse with an AYCE menus they got 3 small pieces of undercooked cheat in 45 minutes. They were 100% correct. What meat we did get was horrendously under cooked. When we asked for some medium they never returned. The salad bar, what items were available, were tasty. But at $50 you should get more than a salad bar. No refills on drinks and when we were the only guests left in the restaurant we were asked if we wanted dessert. No thank you. I am pescatarian and was very pleased with the fish they were serving until it ran out, lol. The staff was so very helpful and nice, they went beyond to take care of me, and the rest of my family. The food was tasty and hot, and each time we requested certain meat options they came out with it swiftly and it was always hot. The staff members are very attentive to their guest. On this year's leap day my mom decided to take my dad and I out for his birthday. He was stoked, and kept talking about all the various meats they would be offering. Then we arrive there a few minutes early for our 7:00 reservation. The first thing that greets me is an off putting ambience. Fluorescent lights were shinning in my face as we were checking in. Then it's already 7:25, and we still weren't seated so my father went to remind them we were waiting. It was disorganized because they forgot about us. As we finally arrived to our table we brushed off the rough start because we were starving! My father ordered his drink as soon we were seated but it took half an hour to get to him. Then we went to the to the open table to get salads and other sides. Unfortunately there wasn't any fish for my fish-loving-pescatarian-mother. The salads were bland and the side dish options were underwhelming. With a hungry mother, my father and I sat down and waited for some meat. We waited at least twenty minutes for one gaucho to come. Then we eventually sat there waiting forty minutes just for two gauchos to care for us. We felt forgotten yet again. I will give Rodizio's that Erick, one of their gauchos, is a very respectable young man who actually didn't forget about us. But while we still had our dignity my father decided to ask for the manager. We hardly ate three bites of food. Actually I was more hungry at this point then I was when I entered the restaurant. Long story short the manager decided to lose his temper on my dad, and kick us out of the restaurant for life! What a weird way to say happy birthday! But please don't do this to yourself; just go to Fogo de Chão. So in closing keep your valuable dollars in your wallet, and hold off going to Rodizio's Grill. read more

Let me start by saying that I don't know where the bad reviews are coming from. I read the reviews and was prepared for bad service... glad I decided to give it a shot! Our server, Carly, was the sweetest person ever! As a matter of fact, every employee we encountered was great! We sat down and before we could take the place in, there was Carly with a small plate for us. We ordered the full experience and we are not one bit disappointed! If I had to say one not so great thing it would be that the drinks from the bar took a bit to come but for drinks that good, it was worth the wait. We've been to Fogo so this was to compare and I think they're a good competitor. I would most definitely recommend this place and will definitely be returning! We will be telling everybody about this place! What's best is that you don't have to fight traffic or pay for garage parking.... Unlike Fogo. If you are thinking about trying this place out, don't listen to the bad reviews, I think they meant to review a different place! Try Rodizio, you'll be glad you did the gauchos kept coming to our table every time we had the green up. My friends and I were skeptical after reading all the recent reviews about this place, but we decided to keep our 6:30pm reservation for Restaurant Week at Rodizio anyway. We were pleasantly surprised! The salad bar looked and tasted fresh. Our drinks came out in a timely manner. The plates and utensils were clean. We were constantly offered meat from all the different Gauchos while the restaurant was semi-busy. Timothy, the general manager, came to our table and asked if everything was ok. We went here on opening night Saturday expecting the same type of environment as Fogo De Chao. It definitely was not; it was better!! First of all, it was about $14/person cheaper than Fogo but with the same assortment. The salad bar was great and didn't have just salad. The gaucho's come around very frequently. There is a really good selection of food that they bring around also. The one thing that Rodizio does that stands out is the grilled pineapple with the brown sugar glaze. Wow!! The overall environment is very relaxing and engaging. The servers, the gauchos, and the management were all super friendly and personable. This is a place you can go for a great date night or just to relax and enjoy a family meal. This is the type of place Annapolis needed! The table arrangement makes it difficult for the servers to present the meat properly. You have to reach over someone's plate to get the meat or get out of the path of the meat skewer. Nothing on the salad bar is fresh cut. All the products on the salad bar are purchased, pre cut in bulk, and then poured on to trays. The only steak is sirloin, no filet, no flank, no ribeye. Bacon wrapped pork was good and the marinated chicken looks good. I thought we were told all drinks and dessert were included in the price. I was wrong. Coffee is $4, each shot of espresso is $4, each dessert is between 10 and 15 dollars And included in the price. The espresso was ok, but cool, and needed sugar. They do not have raw sugar, and I had to ask for sugar multiple times. By the time I got sugar, the espresso was cold. Oh well, my $150 lunch for 3 will not have to be repeated. We were super excited to try this place as Fogo is one of our favorite spots. What a mistake. We were seated and our waitress Amber took our order. We had limeades and they were just okay. Here's where it all goes downhill. We prefer our meat medium and EVERYTHING was rare to medium rare. One waiter, don't know his name but he had a tattoo on his hand (a shamrock maybe?) was super attentive and could tell we were having some trouble. He request the kitchen cook some meats medium for us. Well those meats came out and they still weren't cooked right. Secondly, most of the staff didn't know how to properly cut the meat. It did not help that the manager stood over them at one point. Hovering is not cute. Then there are the drums. I guess it's a birthday thing but they bang on these drums and proceed around to the table. It's entirely too loud and obnoxious. There's no way there were that many birthdays lol. Have been to a few Brazilian steakhouses before so wad very excited when one opened up in Annapolis. They did not disappoint! The food was excellent - with all of the meats cooked to perfection and deliciously seasoned. Personal favorite was the top sirloin! I also love that they had some unique menu items - including fish and roasted pineapple. The capirhinas (cocktail) were amazing. And best of all - the staff could not have been more friendly. I feel like we became friends! They learned what we liked and made sure that it came by frequently. They also offered too re-sear and season any meat that ran out of it's flavor coating. Went here to celebrate my birthday with some friends. This was my 2nd visit since they opened, my 1st was far better. Maybe we got a bad table location on one of the outside aisle near the back. It took almost 10min before the first server to come by with a near empty spit with a little piece of meat hanging on. This was a sign of how our night would go. The last piece or just enough to serve one person. I could tell they had some really nice meats, because I saw it when everyone else being served. we had a party of 5 so I don't know how we could be overlooked. The service was so bad that I had to say something to our server. Some guy named Al stopped to see how things were going I informed him about the poor service. Service got better for a minute, but fell off just as quick as it started. Really need to come up with a better way to make sure all patrons share in the experience. Maybe you should start serving a different locations in the restaurant and not start in the center of the dining area all the time. Not an enjoyable birthday celebration. The employees were very nice and professional and the restaurant itself was clean. The hot sides were simply OK nothing spectacular. Rice was bland and mashed potatoes were a bit hard. The star of the show should have been the meat and even that fell short. There didn't seem to be a big selection making the rounds and I don't know if it was because we went for lunch versus dinner, however the online menu did not make that distinction. By the time the steak or the meat made it around to our table, we were literally getting the scraps barely hanging on the pole. And truly there was not much meat coming around. We would see meat coming around the table like every 10 minutes versus other Brazilian steakhouses where the meat is constant.So most of the meat that we ate was barely warm and frankly most of the cuts that we got were not so tender. I feel like we could've gone to TGI Fridays and gotten the same level and flavor of meat. The fried polenta was ok. Like I said it wasn't a terrible experience it's just not what I am used to when I go to a Brazilian steakhouse. My advice would be to go to Fogo or Chima Steakhouse in Tysons. You up the price point a bit however the quality and selections you will get our far worth it. If you do decide to try this place out, I would have them seat you somewhere towards the middle of the restaurant where it is brightly lit instead of towards the back where it was very dimly lit and you'll be getting the last round of any meat coming through. read more
