We've been fans of the Brazilian restaurant but this was our first visit at the new Provo location. We were very happy with the quality of the meats and the salad bar. The recommendation is to get small samples of the meats and try to remember which one is your favorite for a second serving. Don't forget to check out the Brazilian cheese bread bites as they are always worth two or more. I enjoy the meats but always finish with the roasted pineapple!!! My wife loved the limeade and I had my usual Guaraná Antarctica. We are going back soon. read more

I am a BIG fan or Brazillian BBQ and good. For starters, I was very grateful they got us in on Valentine's Day despite the fact that we called 15 minutes before we arrived. There was a variety of meat options, salad options, bread options, and fruit options. There is literally something for everyone here. Our waitress was nice, the food was very flavorful, the Brazillian lemonade blew my mind, and the service was very quick. My favorite items were the grilled pineapple and the cayenne pineapple + the trip tip and parmesan steak. I will say, this won't ever be a "regular" dining option for me and my family because of the price but, it is fun to splurge every now and then. Wow this place was delicious! We came here after a long drive from CO. We met our friends for dinner and for sure came hungry. We did one round of the salad bar and saved every bit of room we had for all the delicious meats they were circulating around the restaurant. The meat was sooo tasty we tried literally everything. So much flavor and cooked very well. Our absolute favorite thing was the grilled pineapple believe it or not. That was my fist time eating anything like that and my mind was blown. It was my first time going to Rodizzios and I have nothing but good things to say about the restaurant and it's staff. The hostesses were very friendly right when I walked in the door and got me seated quickly. Throughout the night I watched as they seated tables and they never failed to ask how a customers day was. My server was Jet and he was great. He explained the way the restaurant worked, was attentive but not annoying, and very nice. The managers on duty, Shaye and Baruk were very welcoming and are great at customer service. Also the meat server Tavin was always on top of it and created a friendly and fun atmosphere. All the staff were constantly working and making sure the restaurant, food, and service was the best it could be and pay attention to all tables even if it isn't their section. The check in deal was greatttt. You get free drinks (bottomless) and a desert!!! The food is usually great and you get full pretty fast since it's all you can eat AND meat. Our waitress was kind of slow at times, but I think she was overwhelmed by a huge party since a bunch of High School kids came in dressed up for junior prom (I think?) so overall it was fine and we weren't in a rush. I am obsessed with their speciality drinks! The guava and mango flavors were absolutely heavenly. As a tropical gal, I was so happy to see their variety of flavors of drinks. After a 10 mile hike and skipping lunch, the drinks literally saved my energy and made my day! We were also able to take home our desert (cheesecake and chocolate cake were both super tasty), so gotta say, I was a happy camper. read more

The service was great but I feel like they need to season their meats better. The beef meats tended to taste the same they were more room temperature than hot. I have eaten at other Brazilian steak houses and found them to have better meat. The salad bar was impressive and the mashed potatoes were good! We went with a group of 10 and there were 4 teens in our group they ordered the chocolate caked with ice cream and ended up not eating it because the v Cake was frozen. To start, the ambiance was great. If you get the "unlimited meats" package, you get this little block that you can flip to tell the servers whether or not you want meat. If it's on, a new meat is coming around every 3 minutes, sometimes sooner. It's pretty exciting. There's a salad and sides bar, very nice touch/palette cleanser between your meats. The deserts are amazing too. But be warned, these are not included in the "unlimited" package and the waiters won't always mention it. I liked the service and the clean atmosphere, good vibes all around. The food wasn't my favorite though. Very average and didn't have a lot of flavor. Hospitality? Check. Cleanliness? Check. This location is good as far as atmosphere goes, I just don't feel like they have a good variety of meats or a large salad bar. They bring the same items around time and time again without much variety. I tried a good amount of meat and found a lot of the cuts were not as high quality as I was expecting, they were on the tougher overcooked side, or dropping blood. I also don't feel like the meats were seared very well to lock in flavors. Bread was dry and a lot of the food was being held too hot on the buffet, which tends to make it crusty. The salads are good. The Brazilian limeades are AWESOME. I really like that they have a lot of options, coconut was the best I would say! Overall, a decent place to eat but not over the top. I feel like tucanos has more bang for your buck. read more

I gave 3 stars because the food tasted good and our server was nice. We ate here on Saturday before attending a BYU basketball game. We called and they said for 4 people it be 15 minutes we asked can you put us on the list and we will be there in 15 minutes they said yes. When we arrived they did have us on the list but they said it now be another 10 minutes not sure why they allowed us to call ahead if it did not matter. As I looked in the restaurant it was 80% empty I asked them it looks like you have lots of seats open the hostess said seats are not the problem we don't have enough employees to help everyone. Strange on game night you would think it would make sense to get extra staff, plus it is a buffet so why not just get the customers seated and make them happy. We made reservations for 14 people for a Friday night birthday party and were seated immediately. We actually could have been seated immediately even without a reservation because only one other table in the entire restaurant was occupied. Due to the small number of patrons, I found myself wondering what was wrong - did the rest of Provo know something that I did not? Why was this place empty on a Friday night? I never did figure out the reason for the lack of customers. The food and service were excellent. The servers brought out different items so quickly that we often had to ask them to take a short break so that we could finish what we had already taken. When compared to Tucanos, this place has greater variety, including frog's legs, rattlesnake sausage, and a few other unique items that can't be found at Tucanos. Both places are great, but I would give the edge to Rodizio. So...everyone get out there and support this business! It would be a shame if this place doesn't make it!! read more

I was really disappointed with this place. None of the food tasted very good - mostly too salty and otherwise bland. Textures were bad. Nobody in our large party liked the food. The waitstaff were fine but I did need to finally go looking for someone for our check. I have been to Brazilian barbecue places before and they've been great; this one wasn't and it just felt like a gimmick. Haven't been in over 10 yrs thought we'd give it another go....remembered why we don't go. Made a reservation and we arrived 10 min early for said reservation and were still made to wait for almost 30 min past our reservation time. So poor scheduling there. Then as we were getting up to get seated a family walking out had a kid who looked green in the face and the dad just said "don't get the chicken" as he walked by. We should have just left then....but we didn't and thus it was an adventure in to uncooked and horribly unseasoned meats. It was just not good, we kept thinking we will give it the benefit of the doubt and tried all we could stand but I gave up after the 4th meat came around wildly undercooked with absolutely no seasoning. My ridiculously overpriced meal that was edible consisted of a slice of glazed ham, frisée salad, and some of the glazed pineapple that was all that was edible. The staff was friendly but inattentive we never got water refills, finally asked and she never came back. It was just a hot mess. They have 3 teenagers at the front who look like they were frazzled beyond their training to deal with customers and it was only 7:00 Heaven help how the rest of the evening must have gone for them. Also by far the most professional looking folks of the night were not the front desk. Definitely could use a cleaning up there. Basically it is just a sad copy of Tucanos that hasn't even remotely hit the mark on execution. I'm sure they must bank off people coming to this location forgetting tucanos moved in to town further and aren't bothered to go drive there thinking "oh I'll stay it's Brazilian grill how different can it be?!" Oh how sad they are when they leave. Salt guys!! just a little salt or freaking anything!! it was so bad ya'll just don't. If you're hankering for Brazilian grill just make a reservation a week out at tucanos or be ok with waiting an hour for a table don't cop out for this as a back up....not worth it. read more

Parties came in after us and got seated before we did!! I understand that there's some leeway in reservation times but I might as well have shown up unannounced!! American Fork location has been awesome for years. This new one is even better! Beautifully decorated. Upgraded salad bar=unbelievable! The food is well worth it; I enjoy all the different meats, several times around until I'm full. Service was great; staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Then there aren't as many selections of meat as I'm used to at the sister store in Salt Lake. The Salt Lake location blows its sister out of the water. Went to your provo location today, dirty plates, dirty cups, the polenta had a burnt taste, the rice was mush. I told the employee refilling the salad bar, he said he would take care of it. 40 minutes later, same rice sitting there. I told our server, she supposedly told the manager, waited another 30 minutes, rice was still there. We told the meat server we liked our meat medium well, they kept bringing medium, medium rare or well done. Hate to compare you to Tucanos, but that is your competition, they charge less with more options, service is better. We won't be back, we would rather wait to get a table at Tucanos. Maybe reconsider your prices, what we paid for today ($120.00 for 3 kids, 4,8 & 11 and 2 adults) was not worth the cost. read more

We used to go to this location when it was Tucano's. And we also used to go to the rodizio in American Fork. That one was booked for reservations so we tried this location. We were pleasantly surprised. They were able to get us in for a large group right after graduation. They offered a wide variety of Brazilian lemonade flavors and they had free refills. You could change the flavor On each refill. The service was great. There was a decent selection of meat that was brought around quickly. The salad bar was good as were the other sides. Perhaps it was because the place wasn't full of people that the noise wasn't deafening as it had previously been with Tucanos. They have rearrange the layout of the restaurant so I think that helps with the noise and general comfort. The restaurant was clean, the food was good, and we really enjoyed our experience. read more

And it just felt like the same meat was being served to us over and over again. Servers sometimes didn't slice the meat and left us with a giant piece of steak that we had to slice ourselves. There was nothing that could have been better with our experience tonight! It was our first time here and we were absolutely impressed. From the phone call for the reservation, greeting at the door, service throughout the meal, restaurant cleanliness (including bathroom), and finishing our meal, my wife and I had a blast. This is our new favorite restaurant and we will surely be back soon! I had my heart set on eating at Rodizio Grill for my 39th wedding anniversary. My husband made a reservation for 6 pm on 5/5/18. We arrived on time and were told the wait was 15 minutes. The dining room was nearly empty! My husband asked why and the hostess told him, 'There are a lot of reservations for tonight." Then why not seat us now and we'll be out in an hour or so? Disgusted; WE decided to go elsewhere and had a very good meal. I won't recommend Rodizio to anyone, as they can't manage a restaurant. I have no idea how the food is now, I didn't eat. read more

Blows Tucanos out of the water. The steak is better, the chicken is better (less fatty and more flavor), the salad bar is fantastic, and of course the polenta and cheese bread are a must.
