I was so excited to try a potato taquito. As a vegetarian who is fond of Trader Joe's bean taquitos I couldn't wait to try something unique. Unfortunately there were a couple reasons this won't be my go to for Mexican food. Maybe because it's so new, but for a small Menu it still took 15-20 min, we paid a pretty price for a small portion of food and inside felt more like a fast food joint than a sit down place to enjoy food. If this was just a food review it would be 5 stars no doubt but only 3 stars right now because i have been here 3 times now and every single time my order was wrong. First time they forgot my drinks. 2nd time missing half my order entirely. Now my 3rd time here and they forgot a full order of 5 taquitos and salsas. I highly recommend the food but take your time and check your food thoroughly because it's probably missing something. The food is good, but the people need to attitude adjustment. Literally the employees are the downfall of this restaurant I asked for a fried pepper. They said they're out of peppers. Next thing I know the guy after me gets a pepper. They gave me a small guacamole when I paid for a large, it's not his fault to go back in and buy another one. I don't want to buy another one. I just want what I paid for. He said there's a line and walked away from me. Went here just as they opened and was completely blown away by the quality of the chicken taquitos. Extremely fresh food - chicken, cheese, sour cream all very very tasty. We also tried the queso (expensive, but delicious), the guac (by far the weakest guac I've had in a while, so runny/watery!) and the churro donut (delicious, but it's hard to mess up a donut!) Still need to try the beef options, but quite satisfied with the hard/soft shell chicken taquitos. read more

Terrible customer service, overpriced, and terrible food. Firstly, it was our first time in and was told to download the app to get free chips and salsa. I did so in front of the register and when we ordered the cashier didn't know how to redeem the coupon so she called the manager over, who accused me of already using the reward when I signed up seconds before. Secondly, the tacos barely had sauce on them so we went to ask for me and the same manager very rudely said "just so you know we charge for that" as if I was asking for a side for free. Thirdly, the potato tacos we ordered had SO much black pepper it was inedible. Had to throw them away. Like globs of pepper in the taquitos. I like to look for restaurants with new flavors, freshness, quality and of course customer service. And I have to say THANK YOU for opening up your restaurant in our city. I don't usually order tequitos when I look for Mexican food but this place has changed that. I don't even believe there could be better tequitos out there. They are rolled the same day and cooked to order. The beef and chicken were so rich in taste and I enjoyed every single bite with all the delicious toppings. If you like spice, I recommend going LIT. And the fully loaded corn on the cob was just as expected, delicious. The 5piece plate and corn was more than fillings. Can't wait to go back! Second visit to a roll'em up and first visit to this location. It's just fire. Simple things done right! Tried the quest this time and that was fire. My wife and I would come here every week, twice a week most of the time. It was really good when we started to come. Great portions with good ingredients and a great price. Now we rarely come due to how many times the price has gone up. We now come maybe once every other month when we are in a pinch. The cost vs the food no longer makes sense for us. I really love that orders are freshly made. I wish the fixings were on the entire taquito and all of the taquitos. A different location has the toppings on the entire order. The first time my husband tried the taquitos, he had the 3 piece, and there were zero complaints. This time, we both ordered a 5 piece, and the taquitos on the bottom were naked. read more

Used to really like this place; you used to be able to get a 5-pack of taquitos for under $14. Now obviously everything is more expensive because of the inflationary war on the middle class, but the 5-pack jumped from $14 to &19. It's just not worth it anymore. read more

Didn't care for the shredded beef taquitos. Meat was kind of pasty. Noise of chairs pulled on the concrete floor were really loud. If there had been a crowd in there you wouldn't be able to have a conversation. Service was good - place your order and pick up food when your name is called. The food itself was actually pretty good (after warmed back up, more below), but the wait time was horrible. I ordered a single 5-count of the taquitos and 2 of the churro donuts and it took almost 30 minutes to get my food. People who came in after me had gotten their food and were long gone. I eventually went up to the counter to see what the hold up was and they said it was the donuts. It was clear that the taquitos were prepared immediately then waited for 25 minutes while the donuts cooked. They were cold and soggy. Not sure where the cross up happened but if the donuts take that long to cook then they need to stagger the food prep to make sure everything is as fresh as possible. That being said, I would go back to try the food fresh but probably not get the donuts. Unfortunate because the donuts were really good. read more

Since my last review we've eaten here a few more times. Food is good and the place was cleaner. On our last visit, yesterday, they are no longer offering ala cart taquitos, everything is a combo. The combo used to give you the choice of a churro donut, or corn, queso, or chips/salsa. No longer. Instead, they give you a handful of chips, literally 6 chips in one of our meals and a small salsa (it used to be much bigger). Prices appear to have gone up too, 18.88 for 5 taquitos, 6 chips, a small salsa and a small drink. It was my first time coming to this place, and I had to try it. The taquitos were not too hard and had such a good crunch. They're topped with sour cream, an avocado salsa, and mild salsa (if I'm not mistaken). Since it was my first time, I got 3 different kinds of taquitos, the shredded beef, cheese, and potato. I want to see the cheese and beef ones were my favorite. I got a side of rice and beans, which were super flavorful. I will definitely be coming back! read more

I have been waiting for this location to open. Today I finally tried the tacos and I am glad I did they were so delicious exactly what I wanted. The Lit hot sauce was perfectly spicy enough for me. First time I've tried Roll 'Em Up Taquitos. My friend told me about the Chino location. I never went. The Corona location just opened up by my house. Perfection!! We ordered beef, chicken & potato. Amazing. Great flavor for all. The lit sauce - FIRE!!! So good. We also ordered corn in a cup, it's ok. Get the churro donuts.. Omgosh, get a dozen. You'll be pissed you didn't and have to go back because you need them in your life. All the crew greets you, out loud, when you walk in. It's cute. Straight forward menu. Other than the donuts being the almost the best thing you've ever put in your mouth, you can order your taquitos ANY WAY YOU WANT!!! Love the choice of music but it's very loud. Great vibe in there. I was really looking forward to trying Roll Em Up Taquitos, especially given the good reviews. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The food did not live up to expectations, especially for the $40 I spent. Everything was cold and overly saucy, which made the taquitos soggy and unappetizing. The ambiance was nice and there weren't a lot of customers, and now I know why. I expected much better quality for the price. I won't be returning. Additionally, the workers did not look like they wanted to be there; they weren't talkative or greeting anyone who walked in. I expected much better quality for the price. First time I tried this place today and it was amaaaazing. My kids loved it as well. The sauce is just the right amount of spicy. Very fresh and I love the crunchy yet soft about the flour taquitos. My friend and I were in the mood for Taquitos so we decided to give this place a try. The inside was nice had plenty of seating and clean. Walk up to the register and a young girl Destiny was very helpful she was very nice always smiled and had great customer service. I told her it was our first time and she did recommend us the 5 pack I believe and that was plenty for the both of us. We had the chicken with everything on it. They were good and the food was hot. My first time here, staff was very attentive and offered to explain the menu to me after telling them it was my first visit. I got a 5 pack of taquitos, 2 chicken, and 1 cheese. 1 beef, and 1 potato. I did all corn tortillas except one of my chicken. I did flour. I also got 2 cherry donuts and a corn. Everything was delicious and made to oder. The store was clean and neat. My only complaint and this was the difference between 4 starts and 5 stars was the music! It was so loud. I am a small business owner, and I take calls everywhere I go. I could barely hear my customer, and I thought oh I'll step outside to get away from the music, nope, even louder outside. This will not stop me from coming back, but I will probably never eat inside again because of how loud it is unless someone reads this and decides to lower the volume just a bit. read more

Overhyped, over priced, poorly executed taquitos! Tacos were not adequately cooked resulting in rubbery unappealing corn tortillas. Taquitos at Carls Jr. are cheaper and better executed. Chips and salsa were decent but even the chips were occasionally rubbery. $20 for four taquitos and a beverage is crazy especially for sub par food! To top it off, one of their flyers describes something as "bomb AF". What the heck!!!? We will not be recommending or returning!!! read more

I'm gonna be honest, and not just leave this review to hate, like i know MANY people on yelp do. I got the 3 pack with 1 beef, 1 chicken, and 1 potato. FIRST OFF, definitely recommend the chicken it was pretty delicious, but the beef was pretty unseasoned/flavored, and "buttered" potato tasted like nothing. Love the sauce combinations with cheese on top, a great garnish. Went on a Wednesday afternoon and waited 17 mins for the 3 pack and rice. Kind of a long wait when it was slow/small order and the employee told me 10 mins, but hey, things change maybe they got backed up. BUT overall, it was okay, nothing spectacular. Pretty dissapointed the rice was ice cold, expected something a bit warmer for $3. The rolls were 8.98 for a 3 pack, not to badly pricee. THEY ARE NEW, hope people keep that in mind, they do have a lot of room for improvement and I would consider coming back! Removed 2 stars cuz of cold mexican rice and long wait. read more
