We have come to this place several times and have enjoyed the food. Lately something is wrong. Tonight we came for dinner and all we had was pizza and some stuffed mushrooms. No alcohol or sodas just pizza. We ordered two personal pizzas and we were charged $38. These were small with very light dusting of toppings and come to find out the toppings alone were $16.00. I mentioned it to the waiter and he said that's the way it is. I've heard of inflation but that's just plain wrong!!!! They have a right to charge what they charge but spending $80 for a couple of pizzas is nuts! We sure won't be back. Frankly Marcos Pizza is much better at half the price. read more

On this, probably our last visit before moving, we went with our staples. The side Caesar salad is a pretty good size and has great flavor. My daughter and I each went with the veal parmigiana. At first glance, it's not huge; however, look again. It's actually two cutlets stacked with a layer of cheese between them. I eat them as is, but my daughter has to disassemble hers first. Not sure why, but that's how she rolls. However you like yours, it's one of the better ones around. My wife always gets the white pizza. On the menu, it's called the Alfredo. Order online, and it's the White Wonder. No idea why. They recently got rid of the medium, which was the best size, so now it's either the personal or the large. The personal is still a decent size and is plenty for a person who eats a regular amount of food. Interestingly, this is the one time we didn't automatically receive rolls. We had to ask for them with our meal, and when we got them, we had two total for two people. Typically they'd bring two per person. And they were actually good too, when sometimes they don't always taste fresh. Oh well, we didn't need more anyway. So long, Roma's. It's been real! read more

This is my third and final time trying out this restaurant and just keeps getting worse. 1) i ordered by phone for pick up and got there 5 minutes after the agreed pick up time and food still not ready and waiting another 5 minutes. 2) Pizza was not hot and crust has absolutely no flavor please get a real brick oven for pizza pies! 3) i had to ask for parmasan cheese which the guy forgot to give to me even after i asked for it. 4) i had to ask for napkins and utensils for my salad. We moved to Prosper a week ago and are still settling in. Kids wanted pizza, adults didn't want to cook so we looked for a local play for pizza and found this amazing place. We ordered take out and ordered 1 medium pizza, half no cheese and bacon, the other half Hawaiian. Kids loved it, my son has a dairy Intolerance so he can't have cheese. We ordered a Greek salad and the supreme pizza and they were both delicious. Ingredients feel fresh and cooked correctly, the salad dressing was delicious. We visited for lunch and their homemade lasagna was hearty and delicious. They served hot, garlic rolls with lunch. My friend ordered the combo plate. About a month ago my daughter and her boyfriend called and and wanted to stop by so I ordered some pizza and lasagne and had it delivered. I was really impressed. So last week I stopped in and had the Chicken Murphy and it was awesome!!! Great house salad too. So today I came back for a small pizza and an eggplant parmigiana to go. The pizza was perfect. The service is like a $$$$ steakhouse. Next time I am going to try the boneless ribeye Italian style ! Great atmosphere too! read more

We decided to change up our usual Italian place for Roma's and we are sure happy we did. Ordered takeout and was highly impressed with the food, service and how all of it was put together. I called in order and when I added a tiramisu at pick up all the items were not only in the bag, but they were also bagged separately - all hot food in one bag and cold ( salad and desert) in another. He had a custom XL pizza ( with extra cheese) and the crust was perfect - crisp, no burns/char and held up perfectly .... even a little snap at fold . Lobster ravioli is hands down best I have EVER had ..... and I've had a lot in my day. Roma's is our new go-to for pizza, pasta and Italian deserts. read more

Was not very appetizing. We also ordered the bread rolls. Now those were amazing. I appreciate that it comes with soft butter. I hate when restaurants serve cold butter with rolls. Our service was decent. Food came out quickly. All in all I'd rate a 3 star. But I had to knock off a star for charging me an extra $2.00 for sharing. I stopped in with a friend later in the evening last night for the first time. We were looking for Italian in the area and neither of us had eaten there before. To tell you that it's gonna be a problem this is so close to my house doesn't even scratch the surface! I ordered a Baked Ziti Entree and my friend got Lobster Ravioli on the suggestion of the Server and both were so delicious!! I didn't even take time to take photos! Both our items had their delicious pink sauce and were great size portions. The homemade taste and the fluffy, garlic dinner rolls made this a rich and decadent meal that I will be craving for sure! Wow! This is an awesome Italian restaurant! We had the calamari as an appetizer, a bowl of clam chowder, small Caesar salad, and tried the Roma's spicy chicken and shrimp dinner. Everything was delicious, the clam chowder was homemade, the Cesar salad had homemade dressing, the calamari was nicely prepared and the Roma's spicy chicken and shrimp dinner. The reasons for 4 starts are: 1. the fried food got soggy (maybe because delivery took a long time) 2. So Yelp fired up again...and we found. Roma's Italian Restaurant. Arrived about 6 pm on a Saturday night. We weren't sure if they were open....weird that there was NO one in the place, other than the employees. Oh well, I love having my own place. She ordered the Baked Ziti with a meat sauce and I ordered the Roma's Spicy Chicken & Shrimp. She had a Coke and I had an Arnold Palmer for a drink. Service was quick, even as the place filled up (we are trendsetters now...). She really enjoyed her dinner and I had asked for my meal to be "extra spicy". Usually "spicy" at an Italian restaurant (at least here in Texas) means crushed peppers...and that's ok. But that is NOT what happened to the Alfredo sauce on my meal. Oh no, they really kicked it up a notch, to which I really REALLY enjoyed it! Did not have to add any additional crushed peppers or any spice. It was that good. The rest of the meal for me? Excellent. Even better 2 days later when I had the marinated leftovers for lunch. Service was fast and they were always checking every 15-20 min on us. They are doing an ok job on the COVID-19 changes. Removed condiments from the tables, but using those same bottles now for everyone. Probably not a good idea. All employees wore masks. Our good friends told us about Roma's! They love it and know how much we love Italian food. So after a long masking wearing day at work... my husband said let's order something... 1st Place he thought about was Roma's. I am super happy I agreed! I had the lobster ravioli, my husband had chicken fettuccine alfredo with sautéed mushrooms, our kids had spaghetti with meatballs, an order of cheese sticks and we also got an order of bread! Let me say HOLY SNAPS!! This food was GREAT!! It had so much flavor and it was still hot when my husband got home from picking it up! We will definitely be back! Oh and these guys support local businesses like themselves, we saw a couple of the guys had our good friend (the same one who told us about Roma's) custom Texas made woobie shoes on! There is no other way to say this.... God awful. Had chicken parm that was thin as a pancake with store bought tasting sauce and watery spaghetti. $14 for something I could have gotten as a frozen dish at Kroger was just not my idea of a night out. I am literally typing this at 12:50am from my toilet because my stomach hurts from it. The bread was was under cooked and soaked in butter to top it all off. Staff was blah, decor was blah, and the meal was bad. Don't know how they serve that and call it Italian food. read more
