Today I was a first time customer at Spartan Rides. Oh my...I can't believe this shop has been here for years and I'm just now experiencing it! I pass it 5-7 times a week on my way to the gym. Thankfully they put up flags so I knew to look for them. Veteran owned bike shop! The layout and selection is also aesthetically pleasing and everything is easy to find. They even have demo bikes that are available to tryout. The gentleman who was working today (forgot to ask his name through my excitement) was very friendly and was genuinely interested in helping me. I had stopped by to install a new chain on a bike. The staffs were really knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately, I was disappointed when the chain came off the next day. I couldn't call since they were closed on Sundays. I called on Monday and explained the situation. They were fantastic and accommodating to ensure the chain will be installed. read more

Came here because next to my gym. Super easy to come in and drop off my bike. I had been waiting on my husband to fix it but just didn't happen. These guys tuned-up my bike ($80) and fixed my brakes. Turn around time was less than 24 hours. I wished that I came sooner because it is so nice to have my wheels. My bike is riding very good. Fresh air and good exercise is definitely worth the tune-up price. These guys also have a 30day warranty which I thought was pretty dope. read more

Dear D - Sorry I won't be stopping in to let you "check out" my bike. Perhaps the reason why I don't go to bike shops anymore is because of the unjustified, oversized egos (like yours) you mechanics have: in less than 10 seconds of encountering me, you attempted to put your agenda on me, you insulted my long and vast experience of bike touring, and you insulted my knowledge of bikes (yes, even tho I'm female, I do know how to fix a bike). You never introduced yourself, never asked my name, never asked if I had any problems with the bike, never asked where I was going or coming from; you just needed to try to impress me since I'm female (which you certainly did, but not in the way you were hoping). Well dude, when I want/need to work on my bike, I use my own tools or I go to a bike co-op. Like the one in Tempe here up near the uni which is what I did the other day. In all my years of communicating with cyclists, even in the bike shops I worked in, never have I had anyone approach me like you did and never has a cyclist even mentioned CO2 cartridges which must mean my pump is doing a pretty good job. This is a great bike shop. They have helped me out of a couple of jams. My rotor was damaged when I brought my bike on an airplane to Phoenix. They fixed it on the spot and I was able to make my ride. They also helped me ship my bike back to Salt Lake City. They picked it up at my cousin's house, took it to the shop, packed it for shipping and arranged the shipping for me. Great customer service! read more

Best service I have ever seen. I rented a xc bike thinking I would be fine but after it was delivered Tiffany suggested a little more travel and a dropper. She drove back to her shop swapped the bikes and brought me a Niner RDO. The Niner was a great bike. The bike was in perfect mechanical shape and she dialed in the fork and shock for me. The bike climbed National like a champ and descended Geronimo and National without issue. Spartan is a great rental shop and I will use them every visit going forward. read more

I can't say enough good things about Tiffany and JR. They are both extremely responsive, timely, and genuinely care about your riding experience. When my Trek Remedy 8 was destroyed in an accident a few months back, JR personally delivered (and picked up) the latest models by Evil Bikes to my doorstep for demo and went as far as letting me use his own personal shock to give me the best riding experience possible when a bike I requested was down for maintenance. I've since upgraded my personal Evil Wreckoning with a Push 11.6 and ACS3 Coil Conversion Kit through them and JR continues to help me refine my suspension set up. I visited Spartan Rides a few weeks ago to get my road bike in shape for some morning rides. I found the place by accident while getting my reading glasses fixed in the same shopping center. I was greeted by Tiffany, (I think she is the owner). Very nice person, she even assisted me in getting my bike off the car rack and rolled it inside. I went in for a tune up but ended up replacing both tires and tubes. Overall, the price was good. The service was good but there was a problem with the scheduled pick up but after making a phone call the issue was resolved..... When I received my bike, everything looked amazing. The only problem I had was the night before my ride, I discovered the new tube added to the rear tire had a hole in it, and the tire was flat before my first ride. I changed the rear tube using a back up and didn't attempt to take the tube back. With the exception of the flat, the bike was cleaned up great! I would recommend Spartan Rides. read more

Wow! What an awesome service these guys do! If you're into mountain biking and need a rental this is by far the best place to get it! All of their bikes are top notch with the best components in the market I've been mountain biking for 9 years now and I can honestly say I've never ran into a service like this I've been to several states and bike parks to ride and none are as good as these guys. Friendly staff, with plenty of knowledge depending on what kind of trails you're doing they will see you up with the right equipment and even fine tune it so you can get the best ride out of the bike you can get. This place is GREAT. My husband and I had bounced around a few bike shops in the area and Spartan Rides has had the best customer service and craftsmanship by far. We both did tune-ups on our road bikes and fittings with John (he is the BEST!) and they did a fantastic job. I am a relatively inexperienced rider (only just started clipping in) while my husband has ridden for years (multiple ironmans, etc) and John/Spartan catered to our different needs and abilities perfectly. Between the tune-up and fitting, I now ride much more comfortably and confidently. Highly, highly recommend this place and we will remain loyal customers here! read more

Such an awesome experience! Let me start off with the customer service, Tiffany was awesome to work with, I asked a ton of questions and had a few special requests and she was VERY accommodating! She worked hard to make sure everything worked out for me, the payment and waiver process was really simple. The bikes are all top notch bikes not a bunch of cheap rental rats that have been beat up. When talking to her on the phone we weren't sure exactly what size I needed so she set up 2 bikes for me, one was a large and the other an XL and brought them both! On top of that she walked me through which one was the best fit for me. The fact the price includes delivery and pickup makes their bikes a no brainer for me, whats your time worth? You don't have to interrupt your vacation or free time for a couple hours to get everything figured out, the last thing you want to do is cut your ride short or worry about getting your rental back after a long day on the trail. I will 100% be renting from them again! read more

The team at Spartan Rides was great! Super easy to work with, great selection of high-end bikes and the mobile approach made things so much easier. The bikes were dialed and ready to ride. The big benefit to me was the fact that we didn't have to wait for a bike shop to open, hang out for our turn at the register, get the bike, set it up, yadda yadda. We were able to start our rides so much earlier in the day and it was super easy to coordinate a return vs rushing to a shop before a Sunday early closing time.
