When we parked the sweetest lil gal brought our order out and made sure we got all the sauces we wanted since there isnt an option to click your salad dressing but I think you can type it in in the notes, I just forgot to. Made me feel good that she knew our order and asked. Great quality control because everything was there. I feel like this place needs a way better rating and if you look at the other reviews they had just opened and no one mentions how yummy the food is. My kids are super picky eaters and they loved their meals. My oldest got breakfast for dinner cause its served all day yay! My youngest got the kids chicken and it's enough to feed an adult. The garlic cheese curds are way awesome, we all loved those. Husb got chicken fried steak and said the breading was really good. I got sirloin and its delish. Prices are very fair, you get a lot of food. I know they had a rough start when they opened from other reviews but during this time when you cant go in and sit down anymore. During this time of social distancing, extremely hard for many establishments. The Rooster Run special for Easter was a hole in one. Lots of tasty ham, beautiful grill marks, vegetables done to perfection, hot and slightly crisp, real mashed potatoes, wonderful crisp salad, and the chocolate and chocolate peanut butter cake.....oh my, spectacular. Rooster's Run Café OK, so even after reading many negative reviews we decided to give this place a chance a couple of weeks ago, thinking they had time by now to iron out their problems. Wrong! We called to see how long the wait for a table was. After 15-20 rings, no answer, so we hung up and carefully dialed the right number again. After 20-25 rings still no answer, so we decided to drive downtown to see for ourselves. The place was less than half full but every seat in the waiting area was taken by people well into a 15-20 minute wait. A hostess finally arrived so we informed her that their phone wasn't being answered, to which she said, "I'll let someone know. I don't even know where the phone is." She estimated a 25-30 minute wait for a table. We left. Service was overall good, but none of the servers wear face masks. Food took about 20 minutes, got California Eggs Benedict. I believe I got the wrong one, as this one had mostly meat on it and no avocado. Unfortunately, the eggs were not poached, they were hard boiled! Decent considering it's the only real breakfast place in Hurricane. The service is prompt & the staff is friendly, however no one (even in the kitchen) was wearing a mask. Got the avocado toast which was sadly literally a slice of tomato & a little bit of avocado on a piece of toast, no dressings or seasonings to it or anything, & that was $7? I feel really bad for the fact that everyone got on and gave them bad reviews in the first month of their opening! Those who did have clearly never worked at a restaurant during that period of time! It is very hard! I've visited Rooster Run 2x and another for take out during the pandemic. I have never had a bad experience. The servers were always very nice and prompt. The food was AMAZING! The portions are double what I can eat without feeling uncomfortable (left overs for later!) and it has a great price point across the board! The only suggestion I have is that the young girls at the front desk need to actually greet the people entering with a smile and let them know that you'll be seated in just a moment or whatever. This was out second time dining in The first time was right after they opened so we assumed that slow service and cold food was due to lack of experience and we wanted to encourage this new restaurant so we stayed we paid no complaints. However this time there were less people so we should have been served quite quickly there must have been 10 servers on the floor. We ordered a simple burger fries and chili with onions on the side. The chilling had to be sent back twice first time because the onions were inside the chili the second because the chili and the bull were cold. I understand these are difficult times and we want to keep everyone employed however if they can't do their job they shouldn't be working. When asked how the service was we expressed our concerns and the buster was more polite than our actual server. Also if you're looking for servers that are wearing masks properly this is not the place. Multiple servers aren't covering their noses and are touching their class repeatedly then serving us food. Ian with excellent third day on the job wow I need more servers like him totally attentive and courteous. Charlotte however don't ask for her she wasn't very polite. don't get me wrong I've been in the service business my friends are in the service business I believe in tipping but this day the only person that deserve to tip was Ian. read more

We have a new restaurant in Hurricane and we so want you guys to succeed. 1st week open and obviously new. The food was fine, nothing special, prices on average. My wife and ordered 3 items, 2 came out wrong. Nearly 2 hours from when we arrived, to when we left. Observations, inexperienced in all aspects. Extremely understaffed. These things need fixing asap. Sometimes you have just one chance to get a repeat customer. I'll be back, I'll try it again. I know it's new, but things need fixed. You can't just get by. You need to excel! Went to try this out for breakfast and walked in , there were 5 couples waiting to be seated , the place was empty just about , we asked the people how long have they been waiting they said 10 min . A waitress came out and said there is a 15 min wait to be seated , we left and so did other couples , we were excited that Hurricane finally got a new sit down restaurant but this is poor management . Good food but I couldn't enjoyed it due to the fact they didn't give us utensils and ketchup. We ordered online to pick up. We learned our lesson to make sure we have everything we need to be able to eat. But employees need to make sure they give the food order with the most important thing UTENSILS. I Love this place, love the food and this place is very much needed in Hurricane. I have only one complaint and that is of a waitress that works there. She missed her calling in life. She's got a nasty personality, is always grumpy each and every time we go there, does not make you feel welcome and she appears to be pissed off that she hast to take your order. She really needs to find a new job or she's happy. Her whole nasty attitude reflects on our community. Awful. My wife called in our order so that I could grab it quick. Only two tables had customers but I still had to wait at reception for 10 minutes before anyone even came to talk to me. They told me they were working on it, then it was another 15 minutes before I got the food. The food was DISGUSTING! I got the tri-tip steak sandwich. The "meat" was greenish/gray and had an odd flavor. By the third bite I spit it out and threw the rest away. They rest wasn't much better and the cost was too high for what we got. For myself, my wife and two kids (both got cheeseburgers) was just shy of $50. We'd have been better off going to ANY fast food burger place. Rooster Run is a fairly new restaurant in Hurricane, Utah. I decided to try it for the 1st time today on Mothers Day. I'm home alone and wanted to treat myself but unfortunately it was not much of a treat. I called in my order on the phone and the female I talked to said it would take about 10 minutes so as soon as I hung up I left my house which is about 5 minutes away. I got there, walked in and sat down and waited about 20 minutes until I walked up and ask if they had forgotten about me and the guy said let me check. He came back and said they're just putting the coleslaw and salad into your fish-and-chips so I thought ok it will be out in 1 minute. Well I waited another 15 minutes before it came out. The lady who brought it out was very friendly & gave me my military discount. I asked if there was plenty of tartar sauce in the bag and she said "heck yeah I put everything in there. There was no napkin, no salt & pepper, no utensils and only one tartar sauce which actually was plenty considering I only got 3 skinny less than 3 inch pieces of fish. I was in my car driving away as I opened the container to make sure it was right and it was but it was also cold which is probably because the guy told me it was ready and they were just putting the cole slaw in but then I heard an employee say " we are out of Cole slaw". The container was melted on top so obviously it was under the heat lamp for too long. I took one bite of the fish and it was not good. There were only about a handful of french fries and they were the seasoned frozen kind which I dont like and nobody likes cold fries. I called and told them I was not satisfied and that I would be coming back to get something else. They were not apologetic at all and acted as though I was putting them out. I ended up getting a rib eye. It was cooked exactly the way I asked but the quality of the meat was poor to fair. The mashed potatoes were excellent and the steamed veggies were good. When I went back in to get my 2nd order I waited another 5 minutes. They did not apologize or offer a dessert, discount or anything else. Overall my experience was very bad and I will not return and I do not recommend you go either. read more

Decided to try this new place in town for breakfast, we had heard from friends that the service was bad but thought it might have just been for them. We walked in and added our names to the list and we were told it would be about 15 minutes, it was 30+ minutes before we were seated. We had looked over the menu and decided what to order while we waited for a table, however it took an additional 15-20 minutes from the time we were seated to a waitress talking to us. We waited about 20-30 minutes for the food to come out. The food was the best part of the visit. While reading this you may assume that it was busy at the time and while it was a breakfast rush they were only seating about half of the available tables probably to not overwhelm their inexperienced staff. The food deserves about 3-4 stars but service from hostess to cooks was 0 stars so I was generous giving them a 2. We think the first impression especially for a new restaurant should be important and they clearly weren't making it a priority. We were really excited for a new restaurant in Hurricane. We were seated immediately, which is a big deal based on other reviews. The table we were given was dirty though, as were all the ones around it, but they did clean it for us after we sat down. The server Assistant came and introduced himself as such to take our drink orders, 2 coffees and 2 waters. He brought the waters but one had an unidentified floaty in it. He returned a few minutes later with bloody coffee cups, bloody from poorly bandaged cuts on his hands. I have worked in food service for a few years and I know that food safety 101 is to at the very least put a glove over your bandages! He must not have his food handlers permit because bloodborne pathogens is a huge part of the course. We pointed out the blood and he brought us new coffees, and asked "is that complimentary?" We must have looked confused because he says 'oh that means is it good. I read a lot of books when I was younger.' He must have meant satisfactory. We saw this person through the window in the kitchen while we were waiting on our meal and were so grossed out we couldn't eat. The prices seemed really good though. I really hope they get some competent, trained and licensed staff soon. read more

We spend a day hiking at Zion the food was great I had pork chop dinner wife had the senior fish and chips daughter had the burger and kids had breakfast for dinner everyone's food was cooked great very big portions which helped after all the hiking we did.
