Staying in Ohio for a vacation and decided to stop here after a long day and couldn't have been more pleased, service was amazing, food was amazing, and ambiance was too. Starting off with food it was pretty good, I have a shellfish allergy which even though everything is fried, was accounted for. I got the pizza which was tasty and hot, mom and pops got wings which they loved. The Service was the best. Our server was Alexis, and she did a phenomenal job! The food came out within 10 minutes, in had a refill within 30 seconds, and she always was on top of everything! The ambiance was very Laid back and it was pretty nice reminds me of Buffalo Wild Wings but actually good. It's a pretty typical Roosters: big, busy, noisy sports bar, with standard bar food and good wings. Just opened this week, I think. It was surprisingly crowded at 2pm on a weekday, but I was seated and served quickly. The menu is wing-centric, but there are burgers, pizzas, subs, salads, etc. I got 10 traditional wings with Korean BBQ sauce. I hadn't had that one before, and, surprisingly, it actually tasted like Korean BBQ. Actually, all of their sauces are good, and the wings are my favorite among the big chains. Meaty, cooked right, sauced but not oversauced. There are better wings around, in local places, but these beat BW3's and other chain wings. By the way, the Korean sauce is up towards the top of their spice scale chart but not spicy at all. I also got the onion petals, fried onions, of course, with a tangy dipping sauce. All in all a nice, quick meal, filling and good. Prices are pretty good- that and a drink, under $20. The place is big, with many seating options. Lots of TVs. Big bar. I love going to Roosters and this one is close to my house. The place is new and shiny which is great considering the other locations are a bit run down. You can't get better prices for all of their food and can't go wrong with traditional or boneless wings here. I went here with my husband and we got 5 Carolina gold wings (my favorite sauce), 5 hot wings, mini corn dogs and tater tots (plain). We ate everything at once and had a few beers. They have a great local craft beer selection FYI! We couldn't get over how cheap the food was which is why we ordered so much. Our bill was about $40 with all that food and 2 rounds each. It's wings and bar food, so I'm not going to rave about how good the food was. It's average, but their service and price are right on. We shall return! :) read more

I will start by saying. I have not been to a Roosters in more than 5 years and likely won't be back. This chain has lost "that customer friendly" something they had on W Broad St. We stopped by the Sawmill location tonight (a Saturday) with the family (6 of us) at 6:30p, place was packed and we were seated within 30mins (not bad for a Saturday dinner rush). Connor B was our server, he was friendly & attentive with the drinks and appetizers. The food came out about 15mins later after we ordered and delivered by a young lady whose demeanor was nice but had the undertone of slightly annoyed that she couldn't get our plates on the table any faster than she did which was quick but seemed unnecessarily rushed (but I get it they were busy) she promptly left without asking if everything looked correct. (This is the point where the evening took a nose dive for me) What I ordered was the Cajun Chicken sandwich (menu describes the sandwich as coming with cajun chicken filet, jalapeños, pepper-jack cheese topped off with ranch sauce.) Connor asked if I like to add lettuce and tomato, I said sure. The young lady delivered to me an open face sandwich, with a seasoned grilled chicken filet on a bottom dry bun and a pile of shedded lettuce on the top half of a dry bun, normally this would not be a problem because a more experienced or better trained server would have stopped by shortly after the food was delivered to check in on us, BUT THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. I did not see Connor again for the next 20 mins or so. My wife who was sitting across from me, waved to Connor who was working booths behind me, 4 different times during that 20 mins but did not get his attention. Once the rest of my party was done with their meal Connor eventually stopped by to do the "ready for the check" when he noticed I had not touched my sandwich and asked is everything ok. As I repeated my order to him, he jumped in to explain there are 2 cajun chicken sandwich's and that I received the one I ordered. When I presented him with the menu he was unable show show me this elusive "2nd cajun chicken sandwich" at which point he asked if I wanted another sandwich I said "no, whats the point now everyone is done eating." He just took my plate and turned to walk away as I was mid sentence. I don't blame Connor, he is young and likely not properly trained, and at no point should a server argue with a customer, especially in this case, he was clearly in the wrong. It would be different if I were being unreasonable, I was not. They took my order, got it wrong and didn't come back until it was too late to make it right. After he walked off with the weak example of a chicken sandwich. We waited another 5 mins or so when our table was approached by another lady who I assume may have been a manger. She asked what was wrong, I explained his mistake briefly and her level of concern seemed somewhat unconcerned she said was sorry and asked if we were ready for the check I said yes paid the bill and left. Oh and it goes without saying we were never asked if we would like refills on our drinks. I SQUARELY BLAME MANAGEMENT THIS IS A TRAINING ISSUE. This level of service seems to be the norm these days, its just another reminder for me to save the $$ and eat at home. read more

Love me some Rooster's! This spot is right down the road from me so I always end up ordering my takeout from them! They are on top of it! Whether I place an order through the online ordering system or I call it in, it's always ready very quickly even though every time I have showed up their parking lot is PACKED full. Yet, my order is always ready in under 10 minutes and is always an easy checkout process. The staff is friendly and it's always been very easy to get inside, grab my order and get back home. The inside is nice as well and they have an enclosed patio for the winter months that opens up when it's nicer weather. Overall good spot and have had no issues. Yummy I love roosters and I was so excited to hear this place was opening up. It was a great experience here when I came to eat. Unfortunately I came when it was the OSU northwestern game and it was super packed. I thought I'd have to wait a long time to get seated. But since it was just me and my fiancé. It didn't take anytime at all, maybe like 10 minutes max. The server was super friendly and nice that whole time we were there. I didn't feel comfortable here. Ordering was a challenge. I started with trying to place an order via online. I have been able to do this successfully in the past. It's easiest, when it is working. It kept wanting a verification code. I'm good with that. I even received the code. Problem was that the "Submit" button kept spinning through the whole verification process. I could never submit when I got to this point in the ordering / signing in process. After attempting a couple times, figured it would be quicker to call. I called to place the carry out order. Unlike online, they would not take payment over the phone, which meant more personal contact in these challenging pandemic times. When the restaurant previously re-opened from the lock down, they had a system that kept you moving with minimized contact. Now, they fail miserable. I really felt uncomfortable and there wasn't any concern about social distancing. Yes, staff wore masks. Nobody had gloves. Up to 6 or 7 staff members huddled around the cashier counter. First, the lobby area does not afford room for staying six feet apart. With waiting customers inside, it was uncomfortable. There was a person who paid for his carry out order prior to me. I stood back as far as I could before he had completed paying for his bill. The cashier kept trying to get my information for my order. As I was paying for mine, she then took the next person who literally stood shoulder to shoulder with me as I was signing my charge slip. There also was no plastic shield in front of the cashier station to separate patrons and staff. My order was not ready at the estimated time. So, I attempted to find a spot to be away for staff and other customers. Shuffling about, I was never successful to find a socially distant spot. They are definitely not equipped to handle waiting customers. Staff continued to pass right by me shoulder to shoulder. I gazed around the restaurant to see how they were handling dine in. There were plastic shields up between booths and separating spots along the bar. Customers, who were not eating or drinking, socialized with members in their party without wearing masks. There did seem some attempts to keep parties spaced apart, but I saw a family come in that was seated in a both right next to another party while other booths would have been more socially distant. The order ... I don't like carry out, because something is usually not correct. This time only a minor issue. Sauce was suppose to be on the side. I would agree with other reviewers regarding food and orders are inconsistent. On a previous carry out, the wings were dried out. This time, they wings and the Red, Bacon & Blue salad were spot on. There is a lot of other carry out opportunities in the area. Roosters lack of being conscientious about the quality of their orders, their food and customer satisfaction and safety will make it a challenge for their business in these particularly challenging times. read more

We had never heard of or been here before. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the 3 young ladies at the register. It was like organized chaos. It was a little loud but it fit the atmosphere. The place was packed but we were sat within 5mins. I didn't get the waitresses name but she was patient and discussed the menu options with us.
