This is my favorite place to eat in town. I've sampled many items from their menu and if your traveling through or live around Athens and haven't discovered this gem yet I urge you to do so. Best burgers in town. Steaks cooked to order. You gotta get the Aloha Burger if your fan of savory meets spicy it's the perfect burger for you. I also have to recommend the Reuben Egg rolls everything you love about a Rueben rolled up in a egg roll with thousand island dipping sauce. Staff is wonderful. My husband and I are recent Empty-Nesters. We went in to Ro's on a whim one night since neither of us felt like cooking. I am so glad we did. We both had very nice, filling dinners that were great and spent less than $20.00. My husband had pork tenderloin and I had Hawaiian Chicken, so I am not talking about only burgers here. We have been back twice since then and tried other things. My opinion has not changed. I cant say that it is a Fancy Place, and that is OK with me. It is clean and has a good Health Department score. (That is what really matters, right?) Local kids work there and they have always been very nice and friendly. The service is great. We will go back regularly now. I cant cook at home for that price, and there I dont have to do dishes. read more

We love this place! I always get my favorite, the Reuben Egg Rolls with Grilled Broccoli - this time my husband ordered the hamburger steak with fries. Everything was delicious. Although it was Sunday around noon, and there was a 15-20 minute wait, the service was top notch as always. Can't beat great food for reasonable prices and excellent service. One suggestion - the waiting room is a bit small but there are benches so it works. However, there was a lady there today with a teenage girl and two younger children, probably 3-6 years old. She allowed them to run, scream, and run into waiting customers as they twirled around a post in the middle of the room. It was ridiculous and this mom didn't do a thing until the boy ran right into a man. She was oblivious to their behavior. The hostess is not able to see this because of a partition between the hostess stand and waiting area. I did tell her and the manager about this behavior after we were seated. There were a number of older customers there, two with walkers, and they could have easily been hurt by these children gone wild. read more

My husband Dan and I eat here so much! The food is wonderful! The Jack Jack, chicken fingers, chopped steak, etc etc, all melts in your mouth. The staff is A-1 and so sweet and accommodating. We love it. 100% recommend to any one. You can always get a great meal! read more

I had the salmon BLT and my husband had the Aloha burger, both were excellent. Waitress was friendly and order was perfect even though we made a few modifications. Atmosphere was fun, decorated in what I consider industrial-antique. All and all, a nice little find as we traveled through on our way to see UK play Southern Miss. Go Cats! First time visiting and they hit a home run. Outstanding fish "Tac-Ros." I've sampled fish tacos from many places, and each style has varied with its own special form. Ro's version is perhaps the best I've ever had - wonderful. A southern twist to this creation yielded a dish that was truly unique and delicious - looked great and tasted great! We will be returning to try everything on what looks to be a quite varied menu. Very fast, efficient, and friendly service. Ro's is on the regular rotation from now on. My wife and I ate here on our way home from vacationing in Florida. We arrived at five and beat the dinner crowd by about twenty minutes. We initially attempted to eat here on our way down to Florida later on a Saturday evening, but the parking lot was full. After eating here today, I see why it's so popular. This place is hit or miss. Just ate there. It was awful! The owner must not be around on weekends. We had catfish. It was crunchy...fried too long in an awful batter. They have the best steak tips I've ever had in my life. The white sauce is drinkable it's so good. I wish the food was served a little more hot but still the most tender steak that melts in your mouth. Portions to price could be better but they definitely make up for it on flavor. read more
