Wow. This place is like a taste of home. Being originally from Chicago, I always love looking for Chicago style/themed restaurants. Came across this gem the other day. Our first time, we had the thin crust 18" pizza with sausage and pepperoni. Omg that's what pizza is supposed to taste like! Everything is fresh and tastes authentic. Second time we tried the Italian beefs. So juicy and tons of meat (definitely not stingy with the meat). Also tried the fried raviolis which was really good. We'll definitely be back to try their deep dish. Nothing but good things to say about this place so far. Only con is there is only 2 small tables outside so don't expect to eat in. Order two pizza one with all me.... one with all veggies. When the pizzas was delivered they were both meat pizzas. When I called the store, the lady answering the phone seemed to have an attitude that they had to make it correctly. This was our first try. Husband seem to enjoy his meat pizza.... me Hungary...hungry. lol UPDATE: SO AFTER waiting 1.2 additional hours for corrected order. I was upset and called the store, the manager explained they were only 3 weeks in business. How they were shorthanded and blah blah blah. I requested a credit for the pizza. He said ok, and in addition offered a credit for a meal in the future. The pizza finally arrived.... it was good, hot and the deliver apologized too. Well I will not be ordering food from Rosati ever again. Ordered food at 9:20 this evening. Well its now 11:00 in the evening on July 30th. Called to find out what was going on with our order and luckily they answered the kid behind the counter was very honest and said he was very sorry there was a mishap with the order the driver had 2 orders to deliver and forgot one that the female manager working this evening just realized and was bringing to us. We get call from the manager that wouldnt say her name that she was in out drive way. Went outside no one. Now mind you we have ordered from and have had food delivered to our address from here before we absolutely love Rosatis. So we tell the manager that I'm sorry but your not in our drive way went to the road and no cars at all. Then she says she was here and that's a no we have cameras nobody has been here. She start screaming that this isn't her job that the kids behind the counter is lying and she will handle that when she gets back. The proceeds to tell us basically "f*** off, I'm canceling your order. THIS IS A MANAGER? Yeah I will not support this establishment any further. And I have it all on video the whole conversation. @rosatis this needs to be handled and rectified. This manager should have nothing to do with your business. Completely uncouth and flat out disrespectful. $70 order. Just wow. read more

Awesome deep dish just as i remembered. Real deal. Chicago finally came to Florida Staff very friendly and accommodating. limited seating outside there is shade. But this place is more for carryout or delivery. loved it and will make this my spot for pizza. read more

This review isn't about the food but more about the staff. 2:45p, I walked in to a man behind the counter on the floor doing something which was no big deal then he stood up, didn't say anything and looked at me as if "Well? What do you want?"- still not speaking or asking if he could help me. Placed my order for a deep dish to go and while I was paying, the phone rang, Kelly came from the kitchen huffing & puffing; clearly annoyed. Rolled her eyes repeatedly as she took the phone order up at the register in front of myself and 2 other waiting customers. She was short, rude and was "put out" by the phone order midday on a Friday. I literally just got back from Chicago 4 days ago, and even in a bustling Giordano's on a Friday night, I received BETTER customer service and staff were nice. read more

Great deep dish pizza. True Chicago style. Had a basic stuffed pepperoni pizza. Food is good. Only complaint is they do not have seating inside. You have to either get it to go or they do have a couple tables outside on the side of the building. Which is great on a nice, breezy day, but I would not want to eat pizza in the hot Florida sun. read more

Being a former Chicagoan, I can honestly say, after eating at their family Restaurant's in the Chicago area for years, this place was without a doubt, one of my favorites for a "classic" thin crust pizza. They brought their high quality ingredients any flavors to Florida. You can also get a real "Italian beef" sand which, unlike so many imitations around here. Woke up in the mood for an Italian Sub, all other delivery places were closed, found the menu for Rosati's in the drawer (Wife must have stashed it), gave it a whirl. First things first; I ordered a 6" Italian Sub and a small 1 topping pizza.. my total was $25! When the delivery person arrived, they had me sign on their cell phone, and the tip options were pre-selected at 15 and 20%.. I don't tip delivery drivers waiter percentage tips. Still, the meal cost me $28! I ordered thin crust because the other option was double crust which sounded horrible.. hind sight; I should have gone with it. The crust was definitely THIN and was burnt on the edges. This wouldn't be an issue except they cut the pizza in to squares, so your option is burnt crust piece with no toppings, or soggy no crust piece. I always call the first bite of pizza the "money bite" because you're holding the crust and biting in to the hot, melted cheese, floppy bite at the end... no money bite here. The Italian Beef topping was awesome and the Mozz was fresh. My Italian Sub came drenched, I mean DRENCHED in Italian Dressing and is almost uneatable. There is a great flavor of fresh basil trapped under all that dressing though. I think this restaurant could be really good if they addressed the prevalent issues and didn't try to go so over the top, but for now, I would pass if I were you. read more

We have ordered deep dish from here three times. Hubby loves it and I think it's just okay, but I'm realizing that I just might not like deep dish pizza. If you're not already a deep dish fan, you're getting a lot of crust (outer half crispy and inner half barely cooked), some toppings, and a lot of chunky tomatoes on top. I have to eat with a fork and knife because everything falls apart. Like I said, I just might not like the whole concept of deep dish. I do like the special box that supports the weight of this very heavy pizza, like you're ordering something that needs to be contained. That part was very exciting the first time, until I tried it. The fried ravioli are not great and taste like any fried thing dipped in marinara. Unless you have a raging appetite or several deep dish lovers, this is a hard sell because even hubby can't eat more than two slices, and the pizza hasn't reheated well for us. The crust just goes soggy under the weight of the toppings. We end up with half a very expensive pizza going to waste. Is it possible to make a personal pan deep dish? That would heal the divide in our household! read more

Ok so normally I don't give a bad review but since I waited for them to deliver a pizza for 2 hours I am going to. Please note I tried calling them to speak to the manager but was put on hold for 10 minutes then I decided to try their HQ. Oh guess what leave a message. They opened this what I can only assume franchise in tbe shopping center across the street from us. So tonight after battling traffic for hours I though let's give them a try. My first order was a deep dish pizza. It was AWESOME! So good that I decided to order an even bigger order the next time. Which was a total fail. :( Details of this order: * Thin crust pizza - Edge of crust was pretty much burnt but main crust was mushy * Spicy wings - I requested extra done but wings skin was soggy! REALLY gross. I had to trow into my own fryer * Cheese bread- Cheese wasn't melted in the middle and its not liked sliced bread to share its more like a cheese sandwich. Not good. * Breadsticks - Not too bad but I didn't get my marinara sauce and my alfredo sauce was like water. REALLY runny. Spilled all over. Not edible. We came into town for the weekend and saw this place online. We ordered a thin crust veggie pizza with Canadian bacon for delivery. Here were the problems: 1) 1.5 hour delivery time 2) burnt outside of crust and soggy middle 3) delivery driver did not have Parmesan cheese or any condiments/napkins after being tipped in advance 5.00 4) there was not a good connection between the topping and the crust. Every time you tried to pick up a slice the toppings would fall off. I was going to give a 3 star rating, but after reading some other reviews and seeing that some of these issues have happened to other guests, I've decided to give two stars. It's important that the business read these reviews and correct their mistakes. It seems that at least two of the problems I mentioned were not an isolated incident. read more

Finally a real pan and stuffed pizza place nearby! True Chicago style. They also have the Chicago thin crust. If you prefer "traditional" crust pizza, get the double dough crust. That is the one they offer slices of at lunch. Five bucks for a huge slice and a drink. Italian beefs are another major score! Tough to make one for a take out that is not a pile of mush when when you get back to eat it at home or work. This is really a take out only joint. A couple outside tables but no table service. I've heard mixed reviews about Rosati's pizza, so I decided it was time to try it out. My son ordered the thin crust with meats and veggies, my daughter ordered deep dish with cheese. We were told it would be a 55 minute wait for the deep dish. There is no seating inside and a few tables outside, so staying out in the cold didn't seem like the best option. Went home and came back 55 mins later, picked up the warm pies and headed home. The thin crust was thin and undercooked. The crust was super doughy. The toppings were fresh and cooked thoroughly. The sauce, which was used very sparingly, was okay. The Chicago style deep dish was extremely disappointing. Again, the crust was undercooked, basically raw dough on the inside. Then there was a layer of mozzerella on top of the dough. The other half of the deep dish pizza was tomato sauce; way too much! That's all you could taste was acidic tomato sauce and raw dough. I will say that the part of the dough touching the pan, was crispy and good. I'll stick with NY style pizza. read more

Got three pizzas: The deep dish "white" pizza with added half mushrooms half Italian sausage, made "crispy", was a wonderful combination of flavors, good amount of sauce that did not take over, tasty chewy crust, perfectly done with some crunch around the edge. The veggie special deep dish with added garlic, well-done, just as good with a rich red sauce with a hint of sweetness. The chicago-style thin crust, well-done, with pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes was also a perfect balance of flavors, with some crunch around the edge. (Crispy is less cooked than Well-done.) The price was right for so much food, not cheap, but not over-priced. Exactly on-time for pickup, piping hot. The cashier was just so charming, friendly, and helpful (note to mgt: she was working at 7:40 pm Friday :-). My only complaint is that even though they have a Publix supermarket within a few feet of their restaurant they still have a problem keeping anchovies in stock. I am very disappointed in the service and delivery of our order today. The order arrived an hour after the expected delivery time and was almost room temperature. I contacted the Largo location and asked why the tracker still stated the pizza was being prepped after 10 minutes past the expected delivery time. The representative informed me that the order was out for delivery and the tracker was wrong. It was a lie, and I don't appreciate that - We waited another 45 - 50 minutes after this conversation for the order to arrive. I called the location again to speak with a Manager - Chance put me on hold and a Manager never picked up after 8 minutes of holding. I called back and Chance put me on immediate hold. Within this time the delivery finally arrived and I informed the driver that the Manager needed to give me a call immediately - which has yet to happen. I suspect the Manager doesn't appreciate customers or their position with the franchise. I just want to inform you that we expect a complete refund for this god awful service and a personal apology for the lack of service and professionalism displayed by this staff. read more

I am from Chicago so it's easy to understand my excitement when I heard that Rosatis was opening in my area. I lived on their pizzas and other foods when I was up north. Just brought home my first pizza from the Largo store. To say that I was disappointed would be an understatement. I ordered a medium sausage and mushroom. I had one mushroom in 6 pieces of pizza. The crust was soggy. The pizza was smothered with Parmesan cheese and I think I would be overstating it by saying that there was one piece of sausage per slice. The only thing close to "Chicago" pizza was that it was cut tavern style; in squares for those who don't know. I despise Pizza Hut, but even their pizza was better than what I just tried to eat. I'm hoping that they can redeem themselves because I have many memories of an excellent product up north, but I'm not holding much hope. read more

This is the first pizza place in Florida that I can say is actually good. The sauce and cheese was delicious. I ordered the smallest thin pie & it was $12. In my opinion a little pricy, but at least it was yummy. There is no indoor seating, but they do have seats outside. This is more of a pick up/delivery place. We tried this Pizza on Saturday night. The worst waist of money I have experienced! We ordered the Crust x2 with 4 items. Our Pizza was not only EXPENSIVE but BAD! As hungry as we were we could not eat it. The Crust was TUFF, NOT CHEWEY, TUFF. They were generous with the cheese, but our four items under the cheese were almost undiscoverable until you came upon a pile in one spot. The counter Staff presented themselves as uninterested, practically laying on top of the computer screen and obviously did Not want to be there. The staff was completely unorganized and couldn't even tell me how much longer it would take for me pizza to be done. Great food but overall shitty unorganized service. CALLING ALL CHICAGO DEEP DISH PIZZA LOVERS, THIS IS THE REAL DEAL!! I am from Chicago and for years have been trying different places that claim they make Chicago Deep Dish. This was spot on. DELICIOUS!!! We ordered one Deep Dish and one thin crust. Exactly how I remember it tasting from their Arlington Heights, IL location some 30 yrs ago. It does take 40 minutes as stated on their menu for the deep dish. It so well worth the wait. We drove 40 minutes to pick up pizza and it was ready just as we arrived. Above excellent customer service on the phone. Chance? I think answered and was an absolute delight to order from. Very friendly and helpful. Will be back for sure!! read more
