I ordered the chicken parm pasta dinner, and all that delivered were the noodles, with sauce. The main part of the meal, the chicken parm, was completely missing. There is no point in calling the restaurant and having them bring out a chicken parm. I can only recommend thoroughly checking your out going orders. read more

I ordered 2 hot beef sandwiches with fries and a side salad. Said it would be 45-60 minutes for the order. It's a Friday so I understand must be busy. I get there 45 minutes later and it's half empty, wonder if there was a rush before, I got my food and left. Got home and realized they forgot my salad, called them and told them, they went and checked and said "oh yeah it's here, if you want it you can come get it." I don't live very far fortunately but they didn't even offer to drop it off or anything. I get things happen sometimes, I didn't get an apology until I was leaving with my salad, terrible service. Updating a previous experience, Dennis the owner reached out and wanted to give me another shot at my bad experience. I got the order for pick up again and got the hot beef sandwiches. Order was ready right on time, the young lady who was helping me out was very nice, my order was correct and the food was not only hot but really good! So after several years, we finally decided to return to Rosati's pizza in Avondale for a much deserved date night. We were greeted by a server that was did not smile or greet us. Literally zero personality. She talked in a very quiet, meek voice which made it impossible to hear her. She did not tell us the specials and was quite frankly, not at all what you would want or expect in a restaurant server. When our pizza arrived, the crust was thin and definitely not what we asked for (or remembered from Rosati's). I very politely explained to our server that we did not order a thin crust and to please take it back and place a new order. She did not apologize and instead said "just keep it, it's already made and we'll just have to throw it out." By the time the replacement pizza came, we were ready to go and asked for to-go boxes and the check. When the checked came, we noticed she had charged us for the pizza that was made in error. So frustrating. I then asked the manager (Melissa) to kindly remove the charge from bill and she did. However, Melissa demanded to have the pizza back in front of the entire restaurant. I had to call out to my husband who was literally in the parking lot carrying the pizzas - still Melissa waiting for him to walk back in and bring them back. Whole restaurant watching. This was very, very tacky and horrible customer service. Needless to say, we will not be returning to the Avondale Rosati's pizza. :( read more

I only wish there were more stars available than the five stars I gave Rosati's. I was in heaven eating my pizza last night as I am a recent transplant from Chicago and could not have been a better experience. Plenty of toppings, extra cheese was done perfectly and the sausage is exactly the same as Chicago, which I have not been able to find here in the Goodyear/Avondale area. We were in the area and decided to give this place a try. It was pretty busy when we arrived which is always a good sign. We sat at the bar and had really good service. I ordered a cider and it wasn't very cold so I switched to beer. We ordered one of the deep dish pizzas and really enjoyed it. The crust was delicious and very flaky. We agreed that this was one of the best deep dish pizzas we have had locally. I am sure we will go back at some point and really wish it was closer to us. read more

I'm from Chicago so this pizza is as close to home as it gets.. but when you consistently get pizza delivered at work and home and the cheese is always sliding to one side of the pizza box tells you that they are consistent in making the same mistake over and over.. Well. Can valentines days get any better then this? 30 adults had planned reservations and sure enough our tables were ready. Rosati's went above and beyond what we were expecting. Red tablecloth and roses awaited us as we walked in. Mario our waiter handled all our orders without a problem. With help from the servers the food came out in a timely fashion. The food was excellent. From deep dish pizza to chicken cutlet parmigiana. From vegan to gluten free everyone was happy. We all sat outside and were nice and comfy with the help of the gas heaters. Worse experience, customer service, food representation and quality ever!!! Just move to Avondale and wanted try some local restaurants out we choose Rosati's. Purchased online due to covid, delivered it was great even earlier then expected. If thats the case and get a pizza doughy in the middle I would rather have it come late if its made correctly. Called the establishment requested speak to a manager both times said one moment then phone hangs up second time when I called back I know it was purposely done when it happened again. Their prices are on the higher end so I was upset at how much we spent for not liking a good chunk of the order. We ordered one thin crust and one double dough pizza. Both in the larger sizes. The dough and sauce where more on the bland side in our opinion. I get there are many different sauces so maybe there's isn't the one for us. For both we got veggies and pepperoni and the toppings where fine and they didn't skimp but not digging the bread and sauce kind of kills it for the rest. My bro got a cheese calzone, it was huge but he said he has had better. I got the garlic cheese bread and it was really good but one of them was half way burnt which was a bummer and it only comes with two pieces. Went for our first time and the food here was exceptional. I ordered the Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza, my man ordered the Calzone, and our little girl ordered the kids pizza. The ingredients on everything were so fresh and tasty. The cheese so nice and stringy it melted in our mouths. The pizza sauce was to die for, made with fresh tomatoes and was beautifully chunky and juicy. My man is huge calzone fan and always orders them. He said this was one of the best he's ever had.
