We waited over an hour for my son's pizza. Our calzones came out while waitress assured us his pizza needed another 15 minutes to cook. They accidentally used the "cold rack." Another 20 minutes and still no pizza. We asked her to just box the pizza because we wanted to go home. As a brand of pizza, I've defended Rosati's to the moon and back. For the last few years I've enjoyed them just as much if not more than all the GiorMalnati's East imports receiving disproportionate attention. I love their sauce. I love the crust so thick and heavy it may have its own gravitational pull that keeps drawing me in. But most of my experiences with this brand have just been picking up to-go orders. Now it came time to give it a try in a full-service sports bar. Some of my favorite pizza while watching a Cards game sounds amazing, after all. But it really turned out to be a big fail here. I mean seriously, has management ever run a sports bar before? Here's what disliked. -No TV out on the patio, something virtually every sports bar should have. What a bummer considering the *perfect* Fall weather. -Sound was waaaay too quiet. I struggled to hear it from my table. When the game is on and most people are there to watch it, it NEEDS to be the center of attention. -Food was meeeeh. Like, all the right ingredients were there, but I truly feel as though my pizza was undercooked. Was much better after taking it home and heating it up so that it wasn't all watery on the outside and doughy on the inside. I mean, don't get me wrong...booze prices were SOLID. Service was cool. I paid $35 (including tip) for a soggy (disgusting), mushy, watery, tomatoes spread over undercooked dough. There was so little cheese on this pizza, the strands of the shredded cheese could be seen on it. Worst pizza ever!! Unfortunately a two star. Pizza was good, but everything else lacked. We used a coupon for $18.99 2 topping 16" pizza with garlic bread and cheese and a two liter Pepsi product, which we ordered a diet Mountain Dew. We did get a 16" pizza, what we assumed to be an order of garlic bread with cheese and a 20 oz regular Mountain Dew. When we sat down to eat, the "garlic" bread was a loaf of white bread with a lot of cheese, NO garlic. The 2 liter was obviously wrong. The pizza had some mushrooms and pepperoni, but expected more from a promotion. Overall, good pizza but really disappointing experience for delivery. UPDATE: Had a much better experience dining in. Danielle was our server and she was very pleasant and not over bearing. The orders all came out correct and hot out of the oven, tasting very fresh. We were going to get a pizza again but the picture of the lasagna convinced us otherwise. Also ordered the Rosati's Dough and a side salad. My boyfriend and I walked away stomachs full and satisfied. I have to say this is our favorite pizza. The thin crust is very much like the pizza we would get in Chicago. I know there are some very good specialty pizza places but for just a Chicago style thin crust it's great. The sauce is perfect and it has just the right amount of cheese. Great food! Service was great. We went during the day about 1 pm so it was pretty empty. Our food was served pretty quick. We ordered fried dough nuggets that are amazing fried pieces of pizza dough and served with marinara sauce. I had the italian sausage with italian beef and peppers. It had great flavor but I felt a little over priced for the amount of food I received. My kids had the kids meals...noodles with butter and a mini pizza. These are priced at $5.99 and includes a drink. That's a great price in my book. I would come back! Next time we will try the pizza. read more

I just had delivery from the Avondale location. This was absolutely the worst food I've ever had from Rosati's - who I love. The portion size was laughable (2 T of bruscetta, burnt chicken smaller than a Mc burger patty . The chicken was emaciated - shriveled and dark brown (and inedible). Lunch out with the siblings today and we went to Rosati's for some pizza and wings. We got hot wings and they were delicious! I'm picky about my wings and they were pretty darn good. Got some Rosati's Dough Nuggets which were yummy and can be addicting. Then we got a pepperoni thin crust pizza which was good as well. Not the best pizza in the world but it was tasty and I like the thin crust. Really good place to watch sports. TVs everywhere. We got there during the Chargers/Ravens game right before the Bears/Eagles game. Good thing because the place started to fill up with a bunch of Bears fans in team jerseys and after seeing that intense game at home and how it ended I can only imagine how crazy it was at the restaurant with all those Bears fans. Ok ok ok, so I feel like I have cheated here. I have a go to spot for pizza & wings but the wife wanted to venture out and try somewhere new. There are over 18 big flat screens sure to have your game on. The wings were meaty and just the way I like them, crispy and saucy. The pie was delicious and they have a style to suit your taste. Thin crust, double crust or Chicago style deep dish all made to order with fresh flavorful toppings. This go around I ordered the Cheef and the wife opted for a small pepperoni/sausage pie w/a side of 6 mild wings. I decided to sample two craft beers, the first was a Sour Fruit beer and the second called Citrizona from a local brewery. The Cheef-Don't sleep on this sandwich! Juicy, spicy and full of flavor. It was fantastic and I'm not even exaggerating. Pizza-Cannot go wrong with the pies here! Wings-A bit disappointed initially. Wings came out with just a drizzling of sauce compared to our first visit serving. The server quickly remedied though by sending back to the kitchen for a resaucing, just ask for "extra saucy" if you like the sauce lol. 06/29/2019- By far the worst experience at this location yet! It could've been the fact we came in late in the evening, about two hours before closing, not sure. The service was horrible!!! We stood for about 3min waiting for a seat, bartender looked at us, made eye contact even and went back to playing on her phone. Once seated we were told our server would be with us shortly to get our drink order, 10 min later we were finally acknowledged, mind you we saw plenty of staff pass us by. The drinks came pretty quickly, the food was at the table in ample time from ordering and as always was delicious. The only issue was that we had empty drinks most of the meal all while seeing plenty of staff either sitting talking at the bar or walking by us without even acknowledging us. Looking forward to a family dinner with pizza & wings Order an X- Large pizza and 24 wings. Delivery showed up with our hot pizza but did not have our wings. Yes, they did not deliver our wings. Mind you Rosati's is not cheap but the food is good so I don't mind paying a little extra. I called and spoke with the manager Rosa. I advised what had happen and please send a fresh order of wings. Due to being a loyal customer I ask if I could get some type of discount on our next order down the road for the inconvenience. Rosa stated no, we don't compensate customers for our mistakes. I'm disappointed with the poor customer service and Rosa comments or lack of for giving great service. Rosati's has very good food and is an excellent sports bar with MANY, MANY, BIG SCREENS all over each and every wall of this place! We watched the NFL draft, the DBacks and Zack Greinke shut out the Pittsburgh Pirates, the NHL Hockey Playof game, and numerous other MLB games simultaneously. Food? Let's start with their pastas. They have a build a pasta section with virtually any combination of Italian sauce, noodle, and toppings that you can imagine. I stuck with the basics last night, just spaghetti with a rich bolonese meat sauce and topped with baked mozzellera cheese. Huge portion, with garlic bread, and took half of it home and had another lunch with again today. Good selection of salads here. I recommend the Antipasto Salad with a great selection of Italian meats, cheeses, olives, and veggies on a large platter. BEST house Italian scratch made dressing that I have ever tasted! Very good Chicago style Italian beef sandwiches and combos with Italian Sausage that actually rival Luke's here in Phoenix and Chicago's own. Very good looking pizzas that I haven't tried yet but they were getting devoured at adjacent tables. I saw a couple of complaints here on service but we have been here several times and have always gotten excellent service with hot looking servers. We have been eating Rosati's pizza for many years since we are from Northern Illinois. When we moved to Avondale 3 years ago we frequented this location. We always enjoyed our pizza and cold beer. There was a period of time that we were disappointed with the quality of staff and pizza. We felt the sauce was watery and flavorless. The bartenders were inexperienced and their personalities were not appropriate for the position. For this reason as well as being unable to get the coupons that we felt were a must to save a bit of money since eating out can get very expensive we stopped visiting. On with my review of our visit weekend. It was the same watery sauce, different bartender and we got warm beer. The absolute worst service I have ever experienced. The first meal order came out before the appetizer. All meals delivered one at a time. Beverages not reordered when requested. Last meal delivered after all others were finished eating. Checks were wrong. After 45 minutes and three attempts to correct, we paid for drinks we never got. Two weekends ago my friends and I came to Rosati's to meet some friends for a drink. Courtney was bartending and we ordered a few drinks and went about our way. We then returned this past weekend to watch the playoffs and hang out and Courtney recognized us right away and asked us if we wanted the same shots we had ordered previously!
