    My pizza delivered

I have to say that Rosati's pizza is wonderful getting it is another problem I ordered a pizza tonight the can like the below picture Called all three stores they all went to voicemail and said their mailboxes were full Ended up spending another $60 to get the same pizza that the first one came like it was completely upside down Rosati's is a good pizza place but they don't care about customer service. They don't care about consumers and I just ended up ordering another pizza after Uber eats 29 minutes waiting on a chat person never showed up. So just order another one got it it's awesome but this should've never happened Cost me an extra 60 bucks

I recently stopped by Rosati's Pizza bc I was told by a friend that I had to try it before I leave Chicago. I decided to try their thin crust, and I've got to say--it was ok . The crust was perfectly crisp, with just the right amount of crunch in every bite without being too dry or brittle. It held up nicely under the generous layer of toppings and rich tomato sauce. But I felt there was nothing special about it. Unfortunately pizza is pizza but I was in search of a connection lol The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the pizza came out hot and ready. If you're a fan of pizza then I say give Rosati's a try who knows u might love it. But as far as for me it just wasn't it.

Pros: 1. Location is easy to find and drivers can drop you off right at the front door entrance 2. Traditional Chicago deep dish pizza experience 3. They're open after midnight 4. Conveniently priced for big portions 5. Yelp check in 20% off entire order Cons: 1. Employees are unprofessional, sloppy and unfriendly 2. The door is shut tightly. You need to pull HARD. Everyone who's new here has that problem. 3. I wasn't granted my yelp 20% check-in discount because the manager wasn't there and staff isn't trained to work the cashier I'd go somewhere else unless it's late and nothing is open anymore

    Pizza crust (burnt)

The lady on the register was very rude when we went to get a pizza over there. Got the pizza all burnt on the bottom so taste gross.

Rosati's Pizza on Wells is fine. It's decent pizza and it's pretty cheap for a big slice. It's very dim inside but thats partially because it doesn't get a lot of natural light due to Wells having the El overtop it. It's never super crowded either so it can make a for quick lunch stop.

Wings were bland and fries were not what was on the website would probably not buy again

Lukewarm pizza. They forgot to add the pepperoni. Taste like upgraded frozen pizza.

Order pizza after a night of bar hopping. It was late night so our options were limited. We ordered delivery from Rosati's because it was a few blocks away from our hotel. Customer service was sub par. Dude was half asleep on the phone and was rushing me off the phone. We placed an order for a medium tavern style pizza (thin crust). Pepperoni & Sausage... with some red pepper flakes and parm cheese on the side. I was told it would take about 45 minutes. Waited more than an hour for my pizza. Finally it arrived. It was lukewarm and missing my pepperoni. They also forgot to give the red chili flakes and parm cheese on the side. The pizza was not good. It tasted like a frozen pizza from the supermarket but slightly upgraded. Super disappointed. I will not be ordering from this place ever again.

Crust a bit biscuit dough like but works. We tries cheese, sausage and pepperoni slice. Not New York but you can't beat the pride compared to surrounding area. Service was polite, quick and clean.

Overall will give a 3 because I see this place has a lot of potential. Deep dish pizza, pastas, sandwiches, etc and open late until 4am -- thats amazing!! However, I did order my pizza at 12:38AM and didnt receive it until 2:45AM. Est wait time was 45 mins. Its Lolla season right now so perhaps everyone is ordering from them so they got a little backed up. I get it, but still waited 2 hours without updates. The pizza itself was good, it wouldve been better warm/fresher. It arrived cold :( still enjoyed though! My first deep dish experience.

This is what you get when you order from Rosati's. Cold pizza that looks like the staff was playing softball with it. Enjoy.

Horrible experience. We ordered a pizza and when we opened the box it looked like someone had shaken the box, tipped it sideways, turned it upside down, thrown it on the ground and stepped on it. We called immediately to complain and were told that it's not their problem, tough luck. The staff was rude, and we actually wanted to order somewhere else that has much better pizza but we accidentally contacted this place. Will never order from this place again. Here's a picture of the piece of shit pizza that arrived from this piece of shit "restaurant".

Thick spongey dry dough with no flavor. Just think of Little Cesars but worse.
    Mike L.

Note to self; NEVER return. Here is what I got for $6.78 A very dry thick, spongy flavorless crappy slice of pizza that is not even close to Rosati's in Oak Park or River Grove. There is nothing worse than a crappy thick spongy doughy pizza slice that resembles pizza that would be delivered to your hotel room in Nebraska or Iowa. The picture I took actually makes it appear as though it's not that bad, but it is that bad. The sauce was crappy The slice was cold The cheese sucked The flavor sucked because the sauce sucked The parking sucks because it's in an area that is metered only and loaded with parking Nazi's. And to to top it off, they do NOT accept cash. They should have a sign outside that is LARGER than the Rosati's name outside that says; WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH. But they don't. They have a small 8 1/2" x 11" sign that is on the door when you walk in. It looks like menu, so I'm confident I am not the only person who MISSED THE NO CASH that's in MAYBE a 14 point font! And why bother taking cash anyway, this is only the United States of America. Since they don't accept cash, they should offer customers a DISCOUNT because most businesses complain that when customers use credit or debit cards, it costs the merchant more money! But it doesn't matter, because I will never return.

Normally I hate those kinds of large group dinners, but this was the perfect spot for it. The service was absolutely wonderful. I don't know how our server stayed so cool and calm with a group that size. We got a variety of things. EVERYTHING was amazing. If you have seen any of my other reviews, I always get a meatball when I'm at a place that has them. They almost never live up to my expectation. But this place has the new gold standard for a meatball. It was everything you want. It is fork tender, full of flavor, no chewy ground up bits. The pizzas were authentic and thin. With fabulous house made red sauce that wasn't too thick and overwhelming. The flavor was A+ The cocktails were so good! All made from scratch with love. The ambiance was cozy and comfortable. It's one of those places that you find yourself talking about long after the meal is over. The garlic bread alone is worth the visit. They pour what feels like a gallon of garlic butter over it, and somehow it's still never enough. It's rich, indulgent, and absolutely delicious. We order it every single time and would probably be disappointed if we didn't. The real star of the show, though, is the lasagna. Between the two of us, we've had lasagna at countless restaurants, and nothing has come close to this one. It's hands down the best lasagna we've ever had. Perfect layers, incredible flavor, and the kind of comfort food that makes you want to savor every bite. Their Grey Goose espresso martini is also unmatched. We've tried espresso martinis all over Chicago, and this one is still our favorite. It's smooth, perfectly balanced, and the ideal way to start or end the meal. The atmosphere is another reason we love coming here. The restaurant is gorgeous inside, with a dark, moody vibe that makes it feel special without being stuffy. It's the perfect date night spot whether you're celebrating something or just looking for a great night out together. If you're visiting Chicago and love Italian food, Il Porcellino is a must. Great food, amazing drinks, beautiful ambiance, and a meal you'll be thinking about long after you've left. We make a point to visit every time we're in town, and it never disappoints.

For appetizers, we ordered the While Garlic Loaf Focaccia and the Stuffed mushrooms. I wished I took a video when the focaccia arrived. The waiter, holding a plate with a round and fluffy focaccia and proceeded to pour the garlic et al on top of the bread! Very freshly-made and fabulous! The stuffed mushrooms were also cute delicious! This is a rare time where the stuffing had spinach below the stuffing - excellent! I remember seeing (and enjoying) this while I visited Italy. Delightful! The main courses we ordered were the Gnocchi Bolognese, the Baked Burrata Lasagna and the Barolo Braised Short Rib. The Gnocchi meat sauce was the standout here, being very flavorful, but not as heavy as some other restaurants. The Gnocchi were dense - not fluffy as I had expected. But the sauce flavor was vivid. The Baked Burrata Lasagna was oh, so perfect! Many layers of al dente pasta separates with a tasty meat sauce. Many times I have had lasagna that was either over-baked, or had limp pasta. Here, the lasagna shined! So large of a serving that my wife could not finish it, much to her dismay . . . I had the Barolo Braised Short Rib - oh my living god! - so tender, so complete a dish, with the fork tender meat that melts in your mouth, complimented by a light polenta (I must emphasize the lightness here, as many restaurants serve polenta that is heavy and too rich. This did not compete with the short rib, rather it seamlessly became the foundation on which the richness of the meat was enhanced. I was blown away! But, the most amazing, and probably the most delectable part of the evening was finishing off with a luscious Chocolate Cake! OH, WOW!!! The cake was certainly moist and smooth. Yes, smooth! I could not tell there was cake at all, so smooth it was! And surprisingly (not surprising given the quality of this establishment) it wasn't too sweet, rather just enough to bring out the chocolatey goodness! I only wished that I ordered some hot coffee - the cake would have gone well with a great cup of coffee! Overall, I was very impressed with this restaurant! The old-town decor, the dim lights, the fantastic food (just like of the Italy of old!)- all contributing to a wonderful experience! Highly recommended!

Reservations are released 21 days ahead of time, which I personally find impossible to make. Every time I've checked over the last several years there have been no availability. Yesterday I decided to pop on their website again and was delighted to find that they had released same day dinner reservations for patio only dining. The weather was perfect for outdoor dining so I went ahead and booked a table for Friday night. I felt like I won the dinner lottery. Service was wonderful and I didn't mind sitting outside at all next to the road with cars. I actually never stepped foot in the restaurant so cannot comment on what it's like inside. But do not give up that patio dining reservation if it's available. All of our dishes were delicious. I was really impressed by the meatball appetizers, chicken vesuvio (the potatoes are a must get as a side if you skip this dish), and branzino. The meats and sauces were wonderfully balanced and tender. Nothing tasted overly salted. Ironically, the pasta felt less of a star compared to the other dishes.
