The pizza was so over done you couldn't cut it with the plastic ware provided. We asked for real silverware and expressed the pizza couldn't be cut with the plastic. She ignored us. We expressed the pizza was well over done and she ignored us again. We literally scrapped the cheese and toppings off because the dough was inedible. I've been back a couple times and had more great stuff. Their Italian beef is one of the best I've ever had. The meat is juicy and plentiful, I got it dipped and they gave the perfect amount without the bun becoming a tragic soggy mess, and the mozzarella I added was golden brown. I'd easily choose it over Al's. The three cheese baked penne is delicious, and the portion is a full 8x8 tray! I can't believe I ate the whole thing, and I really shouldn't have. I come to Chicago and am told all the time that there are so many better pizza places and I keep With Rosatis. I think I just ordered my last Rosatis including Scottsdale. The quality and toppings have gone way down. I have been eating this pizza for over 25 years and it's sad to say but you can do much better anywhere. This might have been that they franchised but you are lucky to get what you ordered correct. The toppings are so much less and you are eating tomato and crust no cheese. I just had two slices (that did not come with hot peppers which I ordered) and it is out in the hall outside my hotel room after $30 dollars for a small and a $5 tip for the poor driver; it's not his fault that they don't make a quality pizza anymore. I give them less than a year and they are done given the increase in great choices, quality choices and Rosatis drop in quality. Sad day. read more

While the pizza was good..The customer service was not! A few of us stopped by yesterday to grab some slices and one of us asked for a side of ranch! When we got our food I asked for another side of ranch for myself and the girl at the counter made a face. She then went and grabbed me some and asked me if both are for me?! How does that matter? That was rude and condescending. They both weren't for me and I told her just one of these is for me. The issue here is.. even if they were for me, so what?! Do I need to be shamed? I felt humiliated but ignored it. But my friends realized it too!! When we left all of my friends asked me how I let her talk to me like that and why didn't I say anything. Left a bad experience for sure! And for what?! A side of ranch! I'm leaving this review more as a feedback so that the owner understands this happened at their location. I placed an 8-extra large pizza order ($220) two days ago online through the EZ Cater website for the 23 East Adams St., Chicago location. The money was paid for online including a $30 tip. They were asked to be at my work facility at 11:45 AM today. They showed up at 12:30 PM and the pizza was cold. When I called them and spoke to the morning manager, she said she apologize for the lateness. The reason why they were tardy was because they had to deliver another order first. When I asked what she can do to compensate their tardiness, all she offered was a discount on my next pizza order. That was unacceptable. This place sucks! Lovely employee said no it's cheesy. IT IS IN NO WAY CHEESY, let alone deep dish. Cheese level is pathetic and is essentially just a thin crust with the deep dish crust. 10" deep dish price is the same as my favorite (Bacino's) so no reason to skimp. Hence, our search for somewhere to get something to eat that delivered. The front desk recommended a few places that was opened at 1am and this place was one of them. We ordered a pizza and my husband, who is one that is critical about his pizza, truly enjoyed it which was sausage and onion. Finally got the pizza at 6:15pm and it was cold. Called Grubhub for a refund and they had to call Rosatis. Grubhub initially offered me a 50% refund which I refused. Frankly,I was so pissed at this point, I had thrown the pizza away. I wasn't going to take a 50% refund for garbage.
