I ordered takeout this evening for the family and did not have a good experience throughout the ordering process. Once I made my order, they quoted me 25 minutes before my order would be available for pick up. I show up at 25min only to over hear the cashier speak with the kitchen and I hear the kitchen say "we don't have that ticket #" the cashier then continued to come out of kitchen and tell me it's going to be another 25 min. No apology or explanation with the fact that they never even made my order in the first place. I thin continued to sit in my car for 25 more minutes and the order was still not ready. After another 10 minutes, I heard one cashier say to the other who's order was now ready. If I hadn't said oh that's me, it would have just sat there. They then commenced to give me half my order which I thin said I'm missing this and this and they said "oh yeah here you go" I will not be returning to this establishment. Another lady also came in while I was standing there and asked to buy a bunch of gift cards and heard the cashier say we don't sell gift cards. Lol probably a good business decision to start selling gift cards being that it's an additional revenue stream. I don't see how this place can still be around. read more

No they are not consistent and the manager offered me a refund if he never gave it to me. He had threaten me with violence and told me he had my credit card information and all kinds of crazy stuff. This is what I get for reporting them to their corporate office after he's had told me he was going to give me a refund because their pizza delivery took 2 1/2 hours to get to me, and their food was an edible. The manager is never there at their facility and safety measures are not being followed because no one is there to observe the employees. I have contacted the health department to follow up. Rosati's is always a go-to delivery pizza for me! Ten years ago I moved to Scottsdale from Chicago and was very sad at the lack of good pizza around, so I was so excited to discover Rosati's years ago. In the years that I have been a Rosati's customer and the tons of times I've ordered here, I have only been disappointed a few times. These times the pizza tasted and looked different than usual, like too much seasoning and undercooked. However, the majority of the time, I am pleased and my inner Chicago girl is satisfied. One other small thing I don't like is the breadsticks. They always come a tad soggy, flavorless, and too hard. Just recently started getting their garlic bread though, and it is much better. I have never had a deep dish pizza here, but it looks really good from the pictures. I will continue to order Rosati's as long as I live in the area, awesome pizza! read more

You hear a lot about Chicago deep dish, but its the thin crist Rosatis pizza that me, my family and my friends ate. Something which is totally understandable and given what's happening right now with business and staffing I get it. We're still not ready to go out to eat since we're in a high risk group so Rosatis was a good alternative, we thought. Ordered and paid online. Called location to confirm pickup time. Husband went over to pick up pizza exactly 40 minutes later. First, none of the employees were wearing masks . Second, woman at counter wanted to charge him again. We received a flyer and coupons for this Rosati's Pizza in the mail this week. Since we like Chicago-style thin pizza, we decided to give it a try. We called in our pick-up order, ordering directly from the flyer and telling the server we would be using a coupon. When we went to pick up the pizza, the price of $16.99 was not honored, and instead we were charged $21.74 for a 14" pizza. When my husband questioned the price, he was told, "that's an old flyer." WE JUST RECEIVED THIS FLYER IN THE MAIL TWO DAYS AGO! The server also said sometimes toppings cost more. What does that even mean? We ordered the toppings directly from prices on the flyer. They also did not take off the coupon! How much could we protest when there was a line of people waiting? We walked out with our pizza. Was it good? Who cares! Lived here for 15 years, just tried them yesterday. Great looking menu and their website was very comprehensive. At many places their website has only partial menus and doesn't allow for much customization. Their website was great and suggested many great ideas for each dish. Delivery went super smooth which isn't always the case at other places. Portions were larger than average. Loved the beef sandwich with cheese and carmelized onions and the wings were fabulous. From the first person taking our order to the detail oriented, communicative pizza maker. They set expectations about the deep dish taking longer to cook, to telling us to let it "set" before cutting into it. The pizza was amazing. It is almost like a casserole of cheese and veggies on a crust. I have never had deep dish like this before. So the only thing I had to compare it to was Pizza Hut. I turned to Yelp, found Rosati's, and 45 minutes later we had a glorious pizza delivered to my door. We had the double-dough pizza with cheese and pepperoni. They hand-roll (braid?) the crust under itself, creating the ideal crunch and chew factor. There is something special about the cheese...or maybe it's the herb blend on top...or both. This place is simply great. Cardboard pizza is fine for the kiddies, but as you grow up and your tastes get more refined, you go looking for something better. Rosati's is BETTER. A whole LOT better. Rosati's sits somewhere between a mom & pop specialty joint, and a mega chain - but more the former than the latter. They have enough stores scattered around a few states to get some economies of scale, but they certainly don't feel anything like a mega-chain. Let's face it, there are a zillion pizza joints in the world. And most of them claim to offer fresh ingredients and "authentic" whatever. In fact, there are no less than FOUR pizza places a stones throw from THIS particular Scottsdale corner! The problem is that most of those zillion joints put out pizza that taste just like all the rest of the pizza you've ever eaten. OK - but nothing really distinctive and memorable. That's where Rosati's is unusual. Their pies have an almost buttery/savory undercurrent that just tastes FABULOUS. It's certainly a traditional taste - but somehow amped up to put a smile on your face. One caution, avoid the"trick" pies like the double crust thing. My advice is to stick to the original crust and even tho this isn't a discount joint, order a size LARGER than you think you might want. You'll thank me the next day. Oh, and take out/delivery only. This is a hard place for me to review. Usually when I order from them I enjoy their pizza (its definitely a step up from the big national chains like Papa John's or Domino's) and this is why I call them back, but unfortunately they seem to be fairly inconstant at this location (which is the only one I have tried). There are times (maybe 15-20% of the time) when I order that I find myself fairly disappointed with their pizza. On those occasions the pizza just seems to be more bland and not quite on point. I am not sure what happens those times but it happens enough that I am mentioning it on here. Overall I would probably rate them with four stars if it wasn't for the inconsistency. Despite the inconsistency, I still put them clearly ahead of the big national chains and order from them when we are in the mood for pizza. read more
