It's located in the strip mall right behind the high school. I placed my order online for pick up and the website was user friendly. I went with the deluxe breakfast burrito with the spinach tortilla, no salsa, crispy hash browns and I added sausage to it (extra charge). Came out to be $16 after tax. The staff was very welcoming as I walked in. I informed her that I had an online order and provided her my name, She went back to see if it was ready and it was not ( I was a couple mins early). She informed me that it should be ready in a couple of mins. I stepped outside so that I wouldn't be in the way of other customers. It's kinda tight on the inside. They also share the space with pizza place . The burrito was good, the spinach tortilla wasn't too different from a regular tortilla. As you can see in the photo, it's got a good mixture of eggs, meat and potato's in it. It can get a bit busy. There are tables outside if you want to dine there.

This is a very interesting place that got me confused when I first walked in. Rose Bakery operates in the same place as a pizza joint called Laventina's. They are next to each other with different ordering spots. I went to Rose Bakery to order an iced americano large for $3.25. Great customer service - very friendly. However, it took a few minutes for the drinks to be ready even though there were no other customers. There's no indoors seating. Through the ordering spot, you can see through the shared kitchen.

On Labor Day, my usual pizzeria was closed, so I decided to give Laventina's a try. Placed my order online via Toast for pick up. Ordered a large cheese pizza with half bacon, half mushroom. Their large pizzas are not that big - maybe 14"-15". The pizza was fine, though the bacon did get a little burnt. They were super generous with the bacon too. My daughter said it was good, so that was a win. I'd give Laventina's 3.5 stars but Yelp doesn't allow half stars. Not my favorite pizza in Irvine, but nice to have it as a back up.

Our favorite newport beach pizza spot is now in irvine! The service here is quick just like the other location and the pizza is great as always as well as their ranch! Pro tip they offer slices until 10pm! In these photos you can see the establishment is split half bakery and half pizza shop, I believe the bakery side closes earlier since every time I have gone in around 6pm-10pm there is employees only on the Laventina's side.

I order the California burrito with no bacon, egg whites, potatoes, avocado, and cheese.

Baked goods like their muffins, donuts, and cronuts are half price from 3 - 4 p.m. They close at 4 p.m. Their huge blueberry muffin ended up being only $1-something, so I order a breakfast burrito since he said breakfast items are available until they close at 4 p.m. Their huge blueberry muffin was good. It had a nice blueberry filling type (like pie filling) around the inside edges. Tasty, it felt like eating cake. The California burrito came with bacon, eggs, cheese, avocado, spinach and potatoes OR hashbrowns. I chose potatoes, no bacon, and egg whites. It came with a tiny container of salsa that was barely enough for half of the burrito. The burrito tasted very basic, standard, nothing that wow'ed me. It's small inside and shares the space with a pizza place. There's no seating inside, but there are some tables and chairs with umbrellas outside. This is a communal area with all the other little eateries within that plaza. The service was nice, but I don't think I'll go back. I might try the pizza place in the future.

I can safely say after having so many breakfast burritos here in Southern California; that this was a very good 5/5 breakfast burrito. The fact that you can choose the wrap, and where you want breakfast potatoes or hash browns. The coffee, freshly brewed, was great way to start the day. I will bring my colleagues from the office for Lunch just to try their sandwiches next. One more thing, the staff was very pleasant and knew the menu (where they were able to give their input) Till next time Rose Bakery! Thank you again helping to start my Monday, right!

I mentioned in my last post that I've been to this place several times since discovering it. The first two times I ordered the pizza, it was really flavorful and satisfying. But unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill since then. Lately, the pizza has barely any sauce. It basically tastes like a plain white pizza with cheap mozzarella thrown on top. I'm not sure if they've changed the ingredients or started cutting corners, but whatever it is, it's not working. It used to be a favorite of mine, but at this point, the pizza just isn't appetizing anymore.

First visit: pizza was hot, boxed well and tasty! 2nd visit so far - breakfast pancakes and iced latte were perfect. Good food with reasonable prices. And - they have fountain Coke! I love the fountain and don't like Pepsi so this is perfect. Only recommendation is to please please stay open late at least on weekend. Like at minimum until midnight. We need it around here!!

The brunch menu was limiting, with only a few egg dishes, sandwiches, and breads. The French toast and waffle were nearly $20 each despite the small portions and standard toppings. *French Toast: the worst item of the meal. The bread had no flavor or egginess and left a strange sandy mouthfeel. The interior was so dry that it soaked up all the moisture in my mouth. A poor showing for a classic French toast. *Waffle: the batter was slightly sweetened but felt too dense. The fruit was fresh, although nothing about the toppings or overall quality stood out. *Steak Frites: hanger steak topped with chimichurri and fries. It was supposed to come with bernaise sauce, but I did not receive any. The steak leaned closer to rare rather than the medium rare I asked for. However, it was still tender, and the chimichurri was vibrant and herbaceous. I wished more sauce had been applied, as the dish was a bit dry. The fries were decent, though I would have preferred more crunch. Given the long wait, I expected much more from the dishes in terms of flavor and execution. I was disappointed by how flavorless and dry everything was.

There is plenty of parking and lots of space inside. The interior is bright and spacious with lots of tables for socializing and working. I ordered an iced latte which I thought was pretty tasty and a pancake muffin that was okay. The pancake muffin felt doughy and underbaked to me, however, I think it's suppose to feel that way texturally. It was okay taste-wise. My partner ordered a breakfast burrito which he thought was okay as well. The burrito by itself was meh, but the sauces that come with it helped elevate the flavors.

There are even private rooms but I didn't look too closely, so I'm not sure if they're for rent or on a first come first serve basis. Lots of parking spots are available directly in front of the store front and around back. Their spinach cheese croissant is really good and a large portion. There's A LOT of filling in the middle and on top of the croissant. The chai is average, you can't taste any of the spices.
