Local to our neighborhood this restaurant is often frequented by customers for takeout orders. The menu offers traditional Cantonese style dishes that are tasty. The restaurant offers dine-in with one large table and several smaller tables. Plenty of free parking in the shopping center.

Here's another place that's been in Elk Grove for years, but has taken me forever to give it a shot. I got to try them out thru Door Dash. I had the Mongolian beef lunch. It comes with both chow Mein and fried rice, which I appreciate because some places make you choose between the two sides. Everything was good. Not the best I've had, but still really good. I also wish they gave a little bit more of meat in the entree portion. With that being said, this place is a solid option for Chinese takeout.

I bought soup because I was feeling a little sick, but there was a bug in my soup!!!! I had to throw it away. :(

Food was amazing and tasty. Service was excellent. Last server was so kind and accommodating. Hole in the wall authentic Chinese food. Daily lunch deals! No place included walnut shrimp in a meal but they do! We will definitely return with share this spot with friends & family. Clean dining area

Beef with broccoli

Ordered the meal for 2 people. All this food for about $44. I went with my mom and even then we had to take it home cause we weren't able to finish it, so that's a win for us! The food was amazing, don't even get me started on the wonton soup, my mom doesn't like soup but she loved this one she just couldn't get enough of it. The Orange Chicken was so crunchy! The spring rolls and crabmeat wontons were amazing. In general everything was amazing and great customer service! Definitely bringing friends and family here

Ordered some take out and it was amazing. The restaurant is nice if you decide to sit and enjoy but I was entertaining guests and this time for we got delivery. We ordered the Family Dinner Option B and added a Pork Fried Rice. The food is always delicious and plentiful. I will definitely be working my way through the other dinner options but the ones we had were on point. The Mongolian Beef was especially tasty, the Mandarin Chicken was sweet and had just a perfect hint of spice, the chicken chow mien was decent and fresh. The soup was really good. Perfect for then cold rainy day we ordered it.

Visiting my cousin last weekend and decided to get some Chinese food. This is her favorite place. One server, quick, polite, efficient. She kept our water's full, checked on us several times, even helped box and bag leftovers. I can tell it's a regular neighborhood spot by the service shown to us and the way she greeted and knew each pick up order. The restaurant is clean average strip mall Chinese restaurant decor. The real find here is the food. Hands down some of the best if not the best Chinese food I've had in a long time. We did the individual dinners which came with soup, appetizers, chicken chow mein and choice of entree. I did Kong pow chicken, super flavorful with lots of vegetables and peanuts. My husband got Mongolian beef which had some really nice heat from peppers and pepper. Another member of our party got the salt and pepper wings which were delicious with a hint of five spice and jalapeños. The chow mein was really tasty, not greasy, with bean sprouts and cabbage that added freshness to the dish. We also got hot and sour soup to go and enjoyed it later that evening and the next day with our leftovers. I was really impressed with the quality, portions and flavor of this spot. Please check them out and support small businesses!

I really didn't want to cook for our Thanksgiving family get-together so we ordered from Rose Palace. Used to be one of my favorite to-go places when I lived in Elk Grove but it's been at least 10 years since I've been here. Convenient location next to the Safeway on Laguna. Placed our order over the phone a couple days beforehand. Prices are great, a lot lower than what we have in Placer County. We ordered beef with broccoli, combination chow fun and honey walnut prawns. Didn't expect the honey walnut prawns to be strips, which were probably frozen shrimp pieces? Everything tasted fine, didn't have to spend a ton of money, AND I didn't have to cook. They deliver too!

The Braised fish filet in clay pot and sizzling combination platter are standouts when dining in. Their chow fun dishes are crowd pleasers and if you like eggplant, don't miss getting the Eggplant in spicy garlic sauce. The egg roll was more of a spring roll, but was fine. The Chow Mein was ok. It had a few pieces of bell peppers, and one piece of carrot. I was kind of disappointed in the entree. I'll put it this way, if a group of my friends wanted to eat here I would probably go with them, but I likely wouldn't choose to return here by myself.

Came out to be about $70, which is absolutely crazy to me, but considering we're in Elk Grove I guess I'm not too surprised. I really liked their shrimp fried rice, it had crunchy rice pieces. The salt and pepper wings, along with the general chicken are pretty standard, nothing amazing. These are safe options that we get for my son. I know when we're hungry we would've ordered more but we didn't this time around. The waitress was really nice, always came to check on us and fill our drinks. The inside was cozy. Really enjoyed the wicker chandeliers and the overall aesthetics of the restaurant. I feel like this establishment is overpriced but again, with the items I ordered they're portioned generously. I will be coming back to try the other menu items that veer off the norm as I think it would be more reasonable price wise. I would say check this establishment out for yourself and try out their items overall to see for yourself.

AT HOME: when I got home, it came packed in a container with individual sections to add food. There was chow mein, fried rice and honey walnut shrimp. I had a side order of Crab Won Tons. Chow mein - tasted good. Maybe it was because it was taken out the noodles was a little soft. The noodle mustve bloated by take out. I prefer it being slightly chewy and al-dente. Not bad. Still good. Fried Rice - it tasted like it should. Fried rice was good to eat. Honey Walnut Shrimp - its good too. It tasted typical. I think I shouldve ordered something with beef. But no regrets, just maybe at the time of eating I was not craving shrimp. Crab Won Ton - its a typical flavor. It wa delciious. Would be great if they added Sesame Oil in the filling. Like mixing in sesame oil. Its still good. I really enjoyed being here. It was good.

Delicious food, Great service [Elk Grove CA]…read more Met up with friends at this Chinese restaurant on Laguna Blvd in Elk Grove, Party of 8. The place was not busy on a Saturday evening and our party leader ordered the Family-style dinner for 8. The food was plenty with plenty of leftovers to take home! Soup: Wonton soup Appetizers: Vegetable egg rolls, Fried Prawns, Chinese chicken salad Main Dishes: Sesame Chicken, Shrimp w/ Vegetable, Lemon Chicken, Kung Pao Beef, Sizzling Seafood, Beef w/ Broccoli, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Combination Chow Mein (Hong Kong Style), and Combination Fried Rice The beef w/ broccoli and the Hong Kong-style combination chow mein were my favorite. Service was great. Prices are reasonable with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Very friendly and attentive customer service. They are a family- owned restaurant since 2007. This is easily our neighborhood go-to for Chinese food because the food is always fast, consistently good, and somehow still hits every single time. Our regular order is pretty much set in stone now. The barbecue pork chow mein is always a must, along with the salt and pepper wings and salt and pepper shrimp, both with no jalapeños, but the real secret is making sure you get that little onion mixture with them because it completely makes the dish. The wontons are also so good, although honestly I might like them even better the next day straight from the fridge and you really can't go wrong with either the honey walnut or orange chicken sauce on the side. Everyone there is always super friendly, and the restaurant itself is consistently clean, which I always notice. Helpful tip: If you order the salt and pepper dishes, don't skip the onion mixture. That's the best part. It's one of those places that's become part of our routine over the years, and we still leave happy every single time.

The bad - the salt and pepper fish had a great batter, but I feel they're battered too much, and the actual fish piece inside is tiny. My house chow mein didn't have a single shrimp in it. Lots of beef, which was good, but the char smell from the beef was the only thing you could taste on the noodles. It's almost like the chef cooked the noodles on whatever the beef was cooked on. The noodles we had ordered from here a month ago had very good flavor, but not a one note beef flavor. There was a lot of beef and chicken in the house chow mein, but zero shrimp means the cook either forgot or they didn't have them and thought it would be ok to add more beef. Either way, I paid extra for my selection, and didn't get it. Am I Pissy? Yes. Am I honest? Also a Yes. 3 stars this trip, probably my last.
