It feels like you only get attention if you walk in stating you have a $5,000+ down payment or are looking to pay cash for a $40,000 vehicle. When we walked in, not one person offered to help or even asked if we were being assisted. We went straight to the front desk and explained that we had an appointment scheduled with a reference code, but no one seemed interested in looking into it--except for one young lady who kindly tried to figure out who we were working with. (A sincere thank you to her.) We were eventually helped by a familiar face who has assisted us in the past. He mentioned it was busy, which we understood, but when we asked about an advertisement, his demeanor felt like, "Let's run the numbers and get this over with." (I still appreciate his help, but the attitude was off-putting.) I have to give a huge shoutout to the gentleman who offered us water or tea--you really make a difference. To everyone else: your customer service levels are far from what they used to be. The stares and the attitudes were honestly terrible. Every person who walks through those doors should be treated as a potential customer. If you can't spare a smile, you're in the wrong field.

It's…read moredefinitely out of the way for me to go out to this particular dealership/service shop as there are several much closer to me. However, they have treated me exceptionally well for the last several months. Let me explain. I bought my car from the Al Piemonte Melrose Park location. They suck. Anyway, my wife insisted I get the oil change package (I hate going to the dealer for oil changes, so I was dreading going to any location for this service. I have a great mechanic who does a great job with oil changes (https://www.autosolutionscenter.com/), so I was bummed that I was stuck with the dealership. Anyway, a few months into ownership, I got a letter about a recall and that I needed to bring my car in to get it fixed. I hate the Melrose Park location, so I put it off. I then got an email from Gillespie On The Go offering to come to my house to fix the recall. Okay, now we're getting somewhere. I asked if they do oil changes and I had the package, so they came out and did both. And in under an hour. I had them come out for another oil change. They said they had to charge me because I have to bring my car in. So I paid, but need to check as the service department told me that's not true, but they wanted to double-check on it. I also had an issue with the CarPlay not connecting in my car. They sat with me for an hour and a half to figure out the issue. We collectively figured it out, but they didn't charge me. They have such an awesome service staff. I will always go to them over other locations depite being nearly a half hour away.

We arrived to view a few Silver Shadow II's based on their style, utility, and our budget. He narrowed us down to a 1988 Silver Spur that neither, my husband nor I were considering. Once we sat in this Spur, all of our expectations were met. We drove the car to a pre-purchase inspection. The inspection technician was amazed at the quality and impeccable care that the vehicle exhibited. Needless to say, we happily took delivery of the vehicle and are riding high on the enthusiasm that Jason and Anna precipitated. This experience will lead us into a long lasting personal and professional relationship.

GO HERE FOR YOUR SHADY USED CAR SALESMAN TACTICS!…read more Out of state buyer, was in constant communication with Jason Courtney and was going to buy one of the Land Rover Defender 90's. Was about to book a plane ticket to fly halfway across the country. Until I was rushed and boxed into a corner by Jason. Who stated if I didn't give him a non-refundable 10% down payment before ever touching the car, he would sell it to anyone that walked in. Jason refused to not hold it for a period of 24 hours. Jason refused to accept any else than the 10 % down payment, stating it was a business decision. Which ultimately lost him a guaranteed sale. Makes me wonder what is going on with this car (blue Defender 90). According to their web site the car is still for sale, I wonder where are all these other buyers are? I was able to find a Defender from a reputable dealer.

I called prior to arriving inquiring about vehicles I saw on their website. I spoke to Christine and she said they were still there. Great! And I was on my way. 30 minutes later - the cars are allegedly sold. Oh, ok. Don't understand how they would think I'd believe *that*. So they tried getting me to see cars a couple to a few thousand more expensive. I stood up to leave - frantic attempts began in an effort to get me to stay. However, they were unsuccessful and the gentleman continued to literally talk to my back as I walked out the door. I'm curious - why, if they sold several cars in 30 minutes would they so desperately need my business....

The finance manager, Ronald Brock, fraudulently added a $4,000 warranty and a $1,000 GAP insurance policy without my knowledge or consent. He hid these additions in the paperwork during the signing process. I had explicitly told the salesperson that I did not want a warranty -- and yet, they added it anyway, behind my back. When I discovered this, I began emailing Ronald to have the charges removed. His replies were condescending and dismissive, and after a few exchanges, he stopped responding entirely. I sent multiple messages through the dealership's website contact form, and the only reply I received was a suggestion to call Ronald directly. I made it clear that I would only communicate via email, as I wanted a written record of everything -- especially given the clear deception I had already experienced. When Ronald did respond again, he made explicit promises that the refund would be issued to my bank. But that promise went unfulfilled -- until I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Only then, after more than three months of silence, delays, and evasions, did the dealership finally issue the credit to my bank account -- at the end of May. This dealership's behavior was deceptive, unethical, and predatory. They intentionally added products I did not agree to, then ignored me for months, apparently hoping I would just give up. It fits every stereotype of a sleazy, dishonest car dealership. I will never do business with them again. And I strongly advise others to stay far away from this dealership. If you value honesty, transparency, and integrity in a car-buying experience -- look elsewhere.
