I was very excited to visit the newly remodeled Rouge and I must say I was impressed. From the second you walk in, you're greeted with very friendly staff. After checking in, they took us to our table (make sure to make reservations). The whole space looks beautiful and each level has its own vibe. After ordering drinks, we were presented with an innovative fusion style menu, which I got to tell you didn't disappoint. My particular favorites were the shishito peppers, beet tartare, and the pickled mulberry labne. Also, it was incredible to see an exclusive selection of Armenian Wines, with my favorite being Kareen Wine's 2018 Malbec. What a hidden gem in Studio City. The atmosphere felt like you were transported to Mexico. The food is middle eastern / Asian inspired and did not disappoint. The ambiance was very pretty and relaxing. The service was excellent. The food was 5 stars. My friend and I went on a Thursday evening near closing time. I know the staff was ready to leave, but they still welcomed us and was attentive. We had the beets, the summer peach and burrata, the Spanish octopus, and the seafood paella. I throughly enjoyed everything but the peaches and burrata. I just moved to the area, I would definitely go back. The menu changes often, so I look forward to see what they have the next time I go. Absolutely love the new renovations done here unfortunately because of the law, there's no more hookah. The food was really delicious. Took a little while to come out. Not sure if that was due to shortage of staff post Covid or dress them wanting everything to be fresh and although we ordered certain things come out at the same time, they still came out at separate times, but overall the food was delicious. Staff was really nice very accommodating. I truly just wish they still had a hooker parking is, typical valet or meter parking. I had not been here since the reopening and I must say, I was not disappointed at all. The place is so beautiful, such exotic and relaxing vibes. The hookah was great along with the service. The drinks were for sure the best part, very interesting combinations and all tasted great! The menu was also fascinating. We had the beet salad, which is not what you would expect at all, so make sure to order it! Definitely dress light if you come here since they don't really have any air conditioning. read more

The interior decor is well done. It has an open air retractable roof that is very nice on a mild day. But we had issues with flys around our food for most of the meal. Separately, and my biggest issue is that the food on the menu was way over priced. Starter foods like Shashito Peppers or Brussel Sprouts are are $17-18. These are sides. Appetizers as much as $36 for small portions. High quality restaurants don't charge anywhere near these portions. It was a huge stretch. Being a new restaurant, I would highly suggest they focus on fair and reasonable prices. Build a following and then look to grow the price point. I won't go back to, or recommend, this location until they reconsider their quality relative to price. read more

Highly recommend!! Dining here was such a fun experience!!! We treated the menu tapas style since we were a group of 5 and that was the best way to do it I believe! The wine selection was great, I believe we had a bottle of the SHOFER ARENI Rosé and I also had Brut Prosecco 10/10! We tried so many dishes! The ones that stood out the most were the garlic and olive hummus, THE ELOTE 10/10, the crispy Brussel sprouts we're excellent and same with the garlic aioli fries. The inside is broken up into a few different spaces, there's bar seating in the middle (great for groups of 2 *wink*, there's lounge like seating towards the back terrace and the front is centered around a beautifully lit olive tree. Wow, my girlfriends brought me here for my 35th birthday and this place is gorgeous. It is right out of a magnolia home magazine. It is so fresh modern and inviting the cocktails were delicious. The food is a bit expensive and the portions are tiny so I wouldn't go with a group of girlfriends to share. That didn't work for us. Great atmosphere and service was impeccable. The entire staff was very knowledgeable about every dish and gave great descriptions on what their personal favorites were and what they paired well with. The only complaint I have is of the automatic gratuity and service charge added to the bill (we were a party of 3, I've never had a service charge added for no less than 6 people). Great ambiance, very friendly staff who are trying very hard but still need some training by a pro on how to take accurate orders, stage and serve the dishes to the right person all at the same time. My dish was completely missed and it took about 15 minutes from the first couple of dishes that came out to the last dish. this is a major issue, when serving a group. The food was generally good except a bit of a hick up on seafood items over salted to cover the lack of freshness, and some got cold waiting for the rest of the dishes to come out. Menu is an interesting mix of cuisines, but the main course could use a couple of more options. Wine list is almost limited to one region, and can use some help with a few known verities of local wines. This place could be a great success if the help of a seasoned kitchen and floor manager is utilized or hired to train the rest. read more

This place is shut down and apparently has been for a few weeks even though you can still make reservations through Resy. I made reservations for a party of 10 about a month ago for tonight at 8:30pm. We showed up tonight to a completely dark restaurant. Beware! Their website is still up and their phone line works although you cannot get through to anyone. According to the valet guy for the sushi place next door they just closed out of nowhere a while ago with no explanation and we were not the first group to show up to a closed restaurant. read more

Love it here. The interior is beautiful, and part of the roof opens when the weather is warm. The food is so good. We got the brussels sprouts, mushroom pasta, and octopus. All so delicious. The service was amazing. Our server was telling us that they may be offering brunch soon, which would be fantastic. This would be the perfect brunch spot, especially when the weather is nicer.
