No one present at the hostess stand. Waited and waited and finally went looking for someone. Got seated and ordered. Inquired about our salads after waiting and waiting and a table seated after us already had their wings and my niece was finishing her mozzarella sticks. One waitress to another, "No one is assigned to salads so they're just putting those orders aside." This was at 9:15pm on a Sunday. Less than five tables occupied. We were just getting up to walk out when one salad finally came. I'm giving two stars because the food has greatly improved, but they must have really crappy management or ownership, and I highly suspect there wasn't even any mgmt on site. Asked another waitress for the manager and our waitress came over and said she was "a manager in training." So disappointing. Have loved Round Table for 30 years. Terrible customer service, we sat ourselves in the bar, we could see the bartenders and the wait staff. However after several servers looked us in the eyes and kept going or turned around and walked the other way we finally got a server to acknowledge us after approximately 5 minutes. We were about to walk out when she decided to grace us with her presence. When asked what local craft beer they had on tap she handed us a menu she only knew bud, miller, ultra and the big brand crap. When asked about Ritual beers she was pretty clueless, even though she said she worked there from day one of opening. They used to have 3 - 4 ritual beers on tap all the time this time they only had 1 that wasn't one of Ritual's year round beers. We went there knowing they had our favorite Ritual beers on tap.....not any more she didn't know what Ritual beer they had or why they only had one now. They had a few other local beers but not the ones we liked. so we had a beer each and not what we had gone there to drink and we left. However, before leaving we had to pay the bill of course. So thinking cash would be fastest we took the bill and cash to the front and we needed change (that was a mistake). The person had to take the money to the other side of the restaurant to ring it up and get change this took about 15 minutes. ridiculous. The staff was more interested in flirting with each other, making plans to go out after work, anything but providing customer service. It has been slow and not great service in the past here but, this topped it off and was terrible!! They need to clean house, retrain and hire new management this place is very poorly run, I'm surprised they are still in busy. it took us about an hour just for one beer. Run run away from this place its too bad it was one of the few places in Highland that carried all of the good Local craft beer but not anymore, I guess the big guys give them too many perks to worry about the local good beer. read more

About a month ago me and my wife went there for pizza and wings. Oh yea about 3 PM on a Wednesday so maybe about 5 other customers there so the wings came in about 10 minutes great.so while waiting another 25 minutes for pizza I asked waitress what's going on she said I'll go check she never came back so I asked someone else they came back and said we had a problem with the oven belt it cooked one side of the pizza so we're gonna make you a new one.45 minutes later I think it was a manager brought us a pizza it was way over cooked on one side which led me to believe it was the same pizza he did say our meal was free but waiting an hour and ruining our dinner time was not worth a free burned meal sucks to have to write this review being as I live 2 blocks away from round table. This place is extremely slow. Ordered cheese fries with our pizza. We got the pizza finished and still no fries. The waiter kept saying the kitchen is backed up. The first time we ordered a pizza from this Round Table our order was "never received" and we did not receive our food for over two hours. To make up for this, the manager gave my wife and I a "VIP PASS" for one free pizza. We tried to use the VIP pass tonight to have a pizza delivered and they informed us that we (East Highland) are outside of their delivery area. i had my worst dining experience in my life: this place is trash and because of this place our good time in highland tour was ruined!!! we been waiting for 30 minutes a table for 2 people, and after that for another 15 min for waiter...after that she shows up and we order 2 burgers..waiting time for food was 30 minutes, but after that long waiting time she brings only 1 burger and put in the middle of the table...when i ask :"where is second? we are 2 people and clearly order the same burger!" she said;"oh, i though you order only one"... we got mad, upset and left that place hungry after more than 1hr waiting and waisting over there our times... poor customer service, non attentive and most negative dining place!!! thanks!!! read more

Our family has always loved Round Table Pizza ... this takes it to a new level in terms of atmosphere and food options. There are a lot of entertainment/bar/restaurant combos where the food is an afterthought to the games and the sports bar. With The Clubhouse, they're starting with high quality food and building around it. The result is a solid menu with additional draws to bring in diverse groups. We honestly didn't have a clue what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised at the "upgrades" from a typical pizza restaurant. Got to speak with the owner and his enthusiasm was contagious. And his staff were efficient, committed, and service was great. Hope they expand to other locations closer to our home! read more

Our waitress was nice but we came here to watch LA Kings vs ANA Ducks game. All of the 20+ TVs were on the NBA all star game (which sucked and no one was watching) and was told by management that the TVs were "locked" and couldn't be changed till the game was over. This place is the sorriest excuse for a pizza joint that ive ever experienced... what they charge for the pizzas that they produce is a disgrace. I could make a pizza better if you blindfolded me and threw me in a stater bros. i got a small pizza and also wings and let me tell you. The wings came out almost 30 minutes after i ordered them, and you guessed it, cold as the rockies. And the fries that came with them were literally microwaved im pretty sure. Then my pizza comes out and 20 min later. I got the size up from personal (small 7.99) And they werent lying when they said small. So i go to grab a slice and all the toppings slide off like I be sliding into these DM's. I could've went to dominos down the street and paid literally the same price for a large two topping and been completely satisfied. The only thing that was good here was the corona i purchased (for 5.99) Lmao. To sum this place up; Its a complete rip off, service was slower than molasses, the food is microwavable trash, not to mention the place stinks like a burger king. We had excellent service and good food last night. We must of had 30 people between adults and kids. We reserved the room in back of the game room. Reluctant to try because I had heard bad reviews BUT understanding that this business is new, I waited a few months. First the place is huge, nice tables for larger parties, awesome bar for younger people/singles to mingle, play area for kids. The service was excellent with each person being very attentive. Even the manager was pitching in and very visible. The breadsticks were scary good, a carb addicts crack. We each ordered thick crust pizzas which all came out hot and at the same time, cooked to perfection. I can't wait to go again, heard the wings are amazing too. Beautiful outdoor seating with fire pits and TV's as well. Glad to see Highland has another family oriented dining option. I hope they do well! read more

Worst experience ever. Let me start off by saying I am a regular here. So tonight I get off work after 9 hours, super hungry when I get home, call in the order, drive 15 min from my house to go pick it up with my husband, he walks in to go purchase it, comes back to the car and says the girl dropped it in front of him (on accident) and they say they need to make a new one and it will take 20 min. The manager offered 10 percent off. I was furious so I went inside and I said "you offer 10 percent off for my time?" That amounted to $2.30. A coupon would give you more off. Mind you it's still one hundred degrees outside and who wants to wait around 20 min for another pizza they already waited 20 min for. So I asked the manager if she thought that was fair for my time and trouble? She said "accidents happen", I said "I understand but I'm not happy" and she said somewhat uncaringly "what would make you happy", I said "you're the manager, you tell me what you think would make me happy", she said "how about 20 percent off". What an insult. I walked out. That $23 pizza should have been free. I'm never going back. Shakeys has much better pizza anyways. read more

Food is great, service is unacceptable. I was a single at this restaurant. The hostess who seated me wanted to put me a corner, almost in the dark. She made unhappy sounds when I asked to be seated where, hopefully, a wait staff person would assist me. I was seated where someone could see I needed to be waited on. Fourteen (yes, I counted them) different persons passed by me, and, even after making eye contact, did not stop to see if someone had even taken a drink order. After 20-minutes someone did come to take my order. The excuse given was the waitperson was assisting with a large party in another room. Is this my problem? No! Management should have seen the whole station was in need of help. The food was acceptable but it took forever to get the appetizer I ordered (no cooking needed for it) and then my entrée was delivered within minutes of the appetizer. Where is the old Round Table? The new format is focused on "Party Animals" not someone who wished to eat there. read more

It has been a month since I've been there and I waited that long to post because I needed to cool down. My family, including my mom went to celebrate my son getting an award at school. My kids were excited to go to this place. From the beginning, we were not greeted at the door, the girl helping another customer didn't acknowledge us, after about 5 minutes I asked if we should seat ourselves and she said someone will be right with us (apparently she only does to go orders, but even still she should step outside the job description a little). We were seated, service was ok, only the drinks and order taking took a long time. As you may know there are huge TVs everywhere, well as we were eating a topless girl is on a few of those large TVs! Bouncing around! I tried to get someones attention (after telling my 4 & 7 year old to look away) and was not successful until I got out of my seat and flagged someone down (employees do not make eye contact, I'm assuming to avoid having to do something). It took what felt like a LONG time to change the channel... and before doing so all the employees called each other over to point and laugh at what was on the TV, including the managers! Which I found out later was the owner. No one came over to offer apologies. So when my husband saw the owners laughing about it, this infuriated him. He called him over (he was upset) the owner comes over and says "Yah?" with his hands out as in what?, my husband asked if he thought what happened was funny to him because we have our little kids and his mother in law with us and we don't think that's funny at all, and his response was "we weren't laughing about that" Let me remind you that we still yet to have received an apology from anyone. My husband and the owner went back and forth, we told him he had and attitude and he said well you gave an attitude first, seriously I was mind blown, I stepped in to say this is unacceptable, he said you're right it is but we don't know what's going to be on the TV, which is just bad management. He ended the conversation by saying I hope the food is good and I apologize.(not a sincere tone in his manner) we paid the bill (no discount was offered, which is fine, not expected, but I was hoping for someone to show remorse) We of course tipped 20% and we went to play games, and this is the worse part, the owner walked by a few times and would just glare at us!!!! It was so uncomfortable, I wouldn't want to see him alone in an alley, that's how he was looking at us. A family of 4 and an older woman!!! I just can't believe an owner would have such a bad attitude like that. It's the worse restaurant experience I have ever had in my life and I worked in one! We will never go back! read more
