When we were there it happened to be the same time as a big kid's birthday party so it was extra crowded. Even so, the staff was nice, helpful and we got our pizza in a timely manner. They had a special heart shaped pizza for Valentine's Day- super cute! We got the long author - basically a combination/ala with everything on top. Five stars all the way. I had one of those delivery disasters today that could have ruined the meal, but the team at Round Table completely saved it. I placed an order through Grubhub and the driver marked it as delivered even though he never picked it up. I didn't even realize it until Round Table actually called me to check in. They told me my pizza was still sitting there and that their system showed it as "delivered." Instead of brushing it off, they went above and beyond. They made me a fresh pizza, gave me the original one as well, told me exactly how to get my refund from Grubhub, and then even paid for a DoorDash delivery driver out of their own pocket so I would still get my order hot and fast. Who does that anymore? This kind of service is rare. They didn't have to do any of it, but they stepped up in a big way and made the whole situation easy. Oops, I just realized I never reviewed their new location. Doh! They definitely deserve 5 stars for their delivery. Before they moved to this location I ordered from them for a very long time. I think 20 years of consistent service and quality means management stays on top of things. There was an occasional missing dipping sauce, but that's rare and I haven't experienced that in years. The most important thing is the main order is always right, it usually arrives at least 15 minutes before their ETA, and it's hot even when the weather is cold. The pizza itself has always been better than any other chain pizza. I can think of a few small chains and single pizza shops between SLO and LA that are/were better pizza for as similar price point, but not in this area. I haven't been inside this location, but it must be better than sitting just inside the entrance of a supermarket. Anywho, be sure to try them at least once. As other places prices go up theirs are staying steady, making them a far better deal if you ask me. read more

Every few months when my husband and I have a pizza craving, we'll order delivery from Round Table. While I'm no pizza connoisseur, they are definitely a step up from your run-of-the-mill corporate pizza establishment (this coming from a true foodie). We always order a large pizza split between King Arthur's Supreme and Gourmet Veggie - the best of both worlds. Taste and toppings are always fresh and generous. We typically always have a great experience, but once in a blue moon when they're really busy (game day or weekend evenings) they can be prone to rush the bake time on the pizza and the dough is underbaked. This has me hesitate ordering from them during those times, but perhaps picking up in person will be better so they don't have to account for extra time spent on delivery.
