I've been eating at RT for over 40 years, and am glad to see there are still a couple remaining in Las Vegas. There are a few differences between the 2 valley locations, but this one will focus just on the Lake Mead store: Pros: Tables bussed frequently New soda fountain with better drink selection Multiple HDTVs that are right size for the dining areas Staff is usually courteous Peaches in salad bar Bathroom usually in working order/clean Cons: No mushrooms in salad bar Salad bar lettuce & spinach frequently is too moist (they need a salad spinner!) Extra $.10 for a to-go cup. Seriously? One of the front doors is permanently locked so unaware customers bang into it. (though that can be funny on occasion) The cons are not too numerous to keep me from returning, but I wish they could address the 1st 3 of them. read more

So....I purchased some pizza and what knot tonight online. For those of you who know me. Know that i absolutley always joke around and TRY to make people laugh. While ordering the pizza, you know the comment section....well i dont write normal stuff like napkins, plates or even extra cheese. I ordered at 5pm for pickup at 630pm. My husband arrived at 630pm. When he got there he was told the order was not ready. He waited over 30 minutes! I ordered online for lunch today ordering online was very easy. I ordered an individual serving Roasted Veggies and Chicken Flatbread. When I got there to pick up my online order there were three people in line. When I got up to the register the tape ran out and they had no idea about my online order Luckily, the page was still open on my phone so I showed them my order number. The cashier suggested my flatbread was still in the oven?? I sat down and waited about 10 minutes more. When I got my food, it was hot and very tasty. I was pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of my flatbread. There were about eight 3-4 inch squared pieces of flatbread. it came in a 6x12inch box and the box was full. I recall thinking this is comparable to quality at a nice italian restaurant and I only costs me $6.49!! I was concerned that I would be late in returning to work and thats why I pre-ordered and also why I took a star off. A young lady came by and asked us twice to ask how everything was and if we needed anything. That better than fine dining restaurants in some places. They also verbalized aloud when new items were coming out fresh for the buffet. Lastly, I know this isn't important to some but to me it's huge. The bathrooms are clean and spotless. This round table used to be my favorite place for pizza. My last 2 visits were horrible. Last time we were there We ordered our pizza and salad bars and were waiting for our kids to join us. During the wait a customer saluted an employee and threw pizza all over the salad bar. They closed the salad bar. The kids got there and we continued to wait for them to clean it up and open it. After an hour they still hadn't. Nor had they made our pizzas. 1.5 hours after waiting still no salad bar or pizza. I went up and asked several times and I was told my pizza was just about to get made. At this point we got our money back and went to Applebee's. They used the situation to completely stop working. Today after a month or so we decided to try it one more time. I ordered my pizza to go. It's burnt, there are about 4slices of pineapple on my pepperoni and pineapple pizza. Never again. read more

Ok, the pizza is expensive but, they have this italian garlic supreme pizza. I had them switch the garlic sauce with zesty red sauce. Man, what a taste bud fiesta. I ordered 3 pizzas in 1 week and they run about $25 a piece. Started to really hit my pocket so, last night I ordered a $10 3 item pizza from Pizza Hut and that pizza was garbage. I had not been to a round table pizza in years. They were quite popular when I grew up in Northern Nevada and when I live in Northern California. So I was really looking forward to having it again. When we entered there was no one ordering and 4 people behind the counter I was looking for a menu or menu board but saw nothing. One of the servers asked if I was ready to order I asked if I could see a menu, She was like sure. 1st wow moment. I ordered pizza than asked if the 6 piece garlic twists were good for two people, she said yes you'll each get 3...wow. We ordered and sat down to wait, a large party came in about 10-15 after us ordered sat down and within 5 minutes a server comes out calls their number and sets down a large order of garlic twists. I called the server over and asked about our order he went to check came back out and said yours will be out shortly, no other explanation...wow. Then the large party's pizzas came out. I went to the counter and asked what the deal was? The same server said your order is coming right up, I asked what is up the people that came in after us received there appetizers and pizza and our appetizer isn't even done yet. He said sorry it was a mistake it is almost ready. I asked thats it just sit and wait. Sorry sir...wow. So our pizzas arrive and the girl asks is there anything else I can get you? I said how about our garlic twists...oh let me check. A few minutes later they came out no explanation no sorry no nothing...wow. We are from California and came here after a soccer tournament, without giving this location any notice 40 people were coming in at the same time. The entire staff did an amazing job with our group! We were tired, starving and very thirsty. Everything came out quickly and the staff continued to check on us and asked us multiple times if we needed anything!! The salad bar was delicious and stocked very well! If i lived locally, I'd be a regular customer here! The manager did everything she could to accommodate us and we are very grateful! read more

Also, this place is super close to where I live, which is another plus for me. Interior (4/5): Compared to other Round Tables I have been, this is actually a smaller location, but there are still plenty of tables for dining in. It's a little cozy but at least it is kept clean. Staff/Service (5/5): I have been here plenty of times and the staff has been super friendly and accommodating every single time. Food (5/5): Their pizza is amazing! Each time my husband and I have ordered from here, we end up almost eating the entire pie to just ourselves. It's very fresh and just tasty!! Night Buffet (4/5): The reason why it doesn't get 5/5 for me is because there aren't that many pizzas put out at a time for consumption. I'm used to other Round Tables where they would have like 7-8 pizzas out at a time for the buffet. When I went, I think there were only 4-5, and it was super busy at the time as well. When i try to redeem the yelp check in offer. Cashier did not accept it saying they had nothing to do with yelp because the are a franchised store. I had to argue with him that i used it before and that is infact their offer because it had their phone number and address om it. People in line was getting frustrated because i was taking so long. I grew up going to Round Table in Northern California as a kid. It's still that good quality, fun and unique place that I've always known. It's technically chain (with multiple locations but still not too many). And WAY beyond your usual Dominos, Pizza Hut style place obviously. Great quality food, interesting option, and great flavor. I've just been really impressed with the staff lately. Super sweet girl named Amy is so helpful when I check out. I received a free pizza buffet for Tuesdays only. So my husband and I decided to check it out. The buffet offers 4-5 whole pizzas, dessert pizza, breadsticks, and a salad bar. You might think it's small but they rotate their pizzas very frequently. Every time I go for another plate, there's a new pizza out. My favorite is the Maui Zaui pizza, I've been thinking about that particular every day since I ate there. The ingredients surprisingly is fresh. My son and I have been regular customers at Lake Mead Round Table for the five years we've lived in Las Vegas. We average about three visits per month. For the past month this location has had problems with their phone line. It was infrequent prior to that (although it still happened), but when you call to place an order, a recorded voice informs you that the "extension is unavailable". This happened today again. It's annoying because we can't place our order prior to driving to the restaurant. Nonetheless we drove to the restaurant even though we were hungry, because we wanted our favorite pizza. When we arrived, there was a sign on the door that said their computer and phone lines were down and due to this they could only accept cash. After determining we had cash with us, we placed our order. One large pepperoni pizza and two soda's.The place was virtually empty, but it was well after the lunch rush so we didn't think anything of it. After waiting patiently for well over 45 minutes we checked on the status of our pizza. Turns out the person who took our order, and money, didn't understand how to submit an order when the computer is down. Apparently writing it down on a sheet of paper and walking five feet to the cook was an impossible obstacle to overcome? The young lady at the register said they'd start on our pizza right away. I told her not to bother, as it had already been an hour and we were going elsewhere. Just give us our money back. She did so and we left very hungry and irritated. Look, I totally get that phones and computers go down occasionally, but the phone issues at this location have been going on for months. It really appears to me that the problem isn't being addressed. Now today, add the "cash only" issue, due to the non working internet and one really has to wonder how this restaurant manages to be the only one to have such horrible luck on such a consistent basis. My guess is that due to the inconvenience and poor service, this Round Table is losing a minimum of fifty percent of their business. They are the only one in west Vegas and located right next to frequently busy sports fields with lots of potential customers. Ate lunch here today and ordered the buffet. The restaurant was busy and there was very little food at the buffet. They would put out 1 pizza and it would be gone instantly. The pizza buffet should have had plenty of pizza for the lunch crowd, you know there's going to be a lot of people. The salad at the buffet was half frozen and it was very messy, food all over and all over the floor. When I was able to get pizza, it was below average (I remember it being better when I was there about a year ago). I tried to get a hold Ashley (supposed to be the regional manager) at Corporate. No phone, just an email. I grew up on Round Table in Northern California (Bay Area) but as their pizza I still feel it's better than most chain pizza restaurants and even some MaPa places too. You may pay a little more but your getting a better quality pizza. Their other foods are great too and excellant salad bar. Great experience overall, wish they had more in Vegas. read more

Came with the daughter for the lunch buffet on a Saturday, and probably will not be back. The place was packed, and there was absolutely no seating in the place. Despite the lack of seating, the people at the counter kept ringing people up. The kitchen could not keep up with the buffet, and the most pizza I ever saw on the buffet was about a half of a pizza. As soon as it was served, it was descended upon by all of the patrons waiting to grab it. Food was ok, as far as pizza joints go, but I would rather pay more and not have to sprint for the first available bit of food.
