Love this place. Great customer service. They were very friendly when they first opened up and wanted to make sure everything was perfect. They're pizza is even better now then it was when they first opened. Definitely recommend the "Double Play pepperoni" They forgot my wings but offered to refund or they could send the driver back with fresh ones. 10 of 13 beer taps were out of order. The salad bar gets broken down 2hrs before closing time because "The boss said we could". The counter is stacked with pizza boxes. It smells, but not like pizza. I'm not picky. And in fact I went to this location a number of times when they first opened and I would have rated it a 4-5. But it appears that they've realized the bread and butter, so to speak, is in the take-out game. So why not go ahead and just give up entirely? Even though it's only a Pizza place..They need much more qualified and courteous employees I had to clean my own table, there were black footprint smudge marks around the salad bar which was half empty. The whole hour plus we were eating in there NO one ever came to attend to any of it. I was waiting for salad bar to be filled...so as we were finally giving up and leaving this creep started filling in the mushrooms and beans said I couldn't have any this was all u can eat I only got one plate. He was very rude. And the girl at the register was on the phone the whole time we were there even while taking orders.. other times I've been there they screwed up on taking my debit card. The service was awful. I was berated by the guy behind the counter. I ordered a salad and the guy behind the counter said that I could get a salad with a drink for 9.99 I said no because I had just bought an iced tea. Later, my daughter clarified that it was an all-you-can-eat salad for that price, so I requested it instead. Well, that guy starts putting me down saying I told you so, over and over and over he would not drop it. I love Round Table Pizza, but they lost a customer in me. BEWARE! This place is filthy dirty! I wanted so badly to love this place. I am always looking for a salad bar and I found one here. The first time I went here was a couple weeks after they opened. At that time everything seemed fine. It was relatively clean and the salad bar was fresh and full. The last couple of times the salad bar was not stocked and everything looked messy. I went to the restroom to wash my hands and upon opening the door to the hall, not the bathroom, I was hit with the worst rotten egg smell. I proceeded to the men's room where the "cook" was brushing his beard hair into the sink. The urinal was not flushed and the trash was overflowing. Besides all of this, the walls were covered in "stuff". I waited patiently for the "cook" to finish grooming himself so I could wash my hands. I then proceeded to observe this person get back to work making pizzas. I then began to look around the dining room a little closer and the place is filthy. The soda machine is always broken. They don't even clean the nozzles on the soda machine. This is indicated by the fact that the soda sprays every which way when you go to fill your cup. I assure you that there is no way this place will stay open. People in SLO expect more from these eating establishments. Get it together Round Table SLO!! read more

I want comfort warm delicious stew-like shit and we ALWAYS cook dinner at home during the week. I've got an incredible potato / cauliflower / chickpea yellow curry in the works with some perfect basmati rice and sourdough bread. Onions, garlic, ginger, spices, potatoes, cauliflower, chickpeas, tomato paste, chicken stock, diced tomatoes are browned, full of color, smelling amazing, simmering on the stove. I'm effing STARVING. I open the can of coconut milk. Crucial ingredient. Stir it up, no problem. Ready to go. I pour it into my gorgeous pan of incredible turmeric ginger paprika garlic love...... ....and about barf my brains out. It smells like SHIT. Armpit death locker room nutty ballsack SHIT. Fucking devastated. I take a test bite of cauliflower to make sure I'm not just tripping balls. HURL. HORRIBLE. DEATH. What have I done. The coconut milk is rotten beyond comprehension. I take two shots of whiskey to kill whatever is going to inevitably wreck my toilet. Triple bag a bowl to dump and toss this witches death brew outside into the dumpster with zero leaks. Open all the windows and turn on 5 fans for circulation. 46 degrees tonight and I don't care, I can't live in this reminder of what I ate. Anyways this is where round table comes in. It's 8pm and I spent an hour making my perfect comfort meal turned apocalypse. What do I do? Order pizza. Round table was here in literally 14 minutes with a large pepperoni pie and jalepeno poppers. Boyfriend and I love pizza it's one of the foods when we don't feel good or are too tired because of all the craziness with the holidays and what not, we get pizza right. Service yall are great, we went in last night totally cute and all lol but everytime we get pizza from round table it's like we are both sick as heck! The pizza taste great don't get me wrong, and those garlic twists whatever it is fantastic, but what in the world it's like we both get crazy sick after! Exact same delicious pizza you remember from your childhood, with crisp crust, slightly spicy sauce and just the right amount of cheese and toppings. I've dined in and gotten to go, and either way it's fast and fresh. The salad bar has a ton of options. Staff is very friendly and always asking if you need Parmesan, peppers, plates, napkins, etc. They serve beer and wine. The inside is clean and spacious. We come here often since we live across the street, which is handy. It's always an enthusiastic greeting. The staff greet everyone that way. Service is really swift and sweet. I have the salad bar, which is always brimming with fresh veggies. I like the extra thick blue cheese. We come on Fridays at 3 pm and it's nice and slow, we enjoy it that way!
