    Vodka chicken parm hero
    Mohamed K.

TLDR; Great food, great bread, fast service. Royal Cucina is an icon for Staten Island! Their food is consistently so fresh and delicious. I love to get sandwiches, and my favorite is the chicken parm, this time I got it with vodka sauce. The bread is just so unique, phenomenal light crispy outside texture and pillowy inside feel. Definitely the highlight of the sandwich. After all, they are affiliated with Artesian Bakery, which specializes in bread and baked goods. I can't possible overrate their service, they have a well oiled system from the 15+(estimate) kitchen staff mini army to the energetic and quick cashiers. Props to them. The ambiance is very particular to their brand and style. I love the design and comfortable feel inside of the restaurant.

Delicious food to go! The staff is friendly and efficient. The bakery bread is fresh, the sandwiches are packed to the brim with tasty ingredients, it's very affordable, and your appetite is satiated in full. One of my favorite places, I always swing by when I'm in the area. Note that if you order a personal round pizza pie ($9.95) it takes 20 minutes to prepare. My grilled chicken mozzarella arugula hero sandwich ($14) was ready in just a few minutes. Better to call in the order for pickup so it's ready .

    Ribeye steak sandwich

Best ribeye steak sandwiches around! Whole thin sliced ribeye steak served with fresh mozzarella and sautéed onions on soft freshly baked bread - the icing on the cake is the balsamic vinaigrette that you pour on top. I wish they had one closer to me in NJ but for now I will pay the toll and make my way to Staten Island for the best steak sandwiches.

Stoped by on the way coming home from Delaware. The outdoor dining is perfect for a afternoon Meal. Seeing all the food rush by, everything looked amazing. The bakery looks out of this world. Portion are oversized. My husband and I had the shrimp parmigiana. The bread and sauce, and fresh mozzarella was one of the best I have ever had. The cappuccino was quite good too. I took a few pictures Of the pastries, they where looking too good. Next to me I come back will have to save room for desert, the hero we order was a Monster size.

The parking is horrendous…read more There is a gravel parking lot in front with only about 10 spaces and then a road in front of that where most of it you can't park because it's peoples houses and they have signs and cones up to not park there. We spend a half hour trying to park in two spots that were too small. I recommend getting there before 5:30 or after 8 to avoid a parking nightmare. We made a reservation for 2 at 7. Recommend making a reservation. Service is slow and didn't really talk to us, the waiter was very quiet but nice. Bread and water was brought out quickly. The standout was the stuffed mushrooms. 5 stuffed mushrooms and they were not soggy at all. The sauce was light and delicate. The stuffing was like fluffy bread stuffing on thanksgiving. It had vegetables in it. Never had a stuffed mushroom this good. I got the pappardelle with veal and it was delicious. Huge portion had to take half of it home. I was expecting ground veal but no this was chunks! They were very tender and delicious. The sauce was standout. It was buttery and light at the same time, perfect red sauce. My husband got an eggplant pasta dish. It was a bit too spicy for me but he liked it. Prices are reasonable was around 75 plus tip for us. The inside is nice and cozy and airy. Really cool this place has been open for more than 100 years!

This place better than 95% of what I ate at family restraunts in Italy. The Osso Bucco, chicken and oranges with fennel, and the deep fried zucchini were phenomenal and the Tiramisu and Millefoglie was absolutely delicious. The staff was thoroughly and friendly. The atmosphere was 1920s quaint and we loved it. We definitely will be back.

This was a four course meal preceded by an extremely large antipasto buffet. From beginning to the end the food was fabulous. The entire wait and bartender staff were absolutely fantastic and took care of everyone's needs with a smile. A special shout out to Joe and Claudia who were a delight. Their professionalism and kindness went above and beyond. I would give the Stone House 5 stars for any type of party or dinning experience.

The restaurant was quiet when we arrived and we were seated at a wonderful table overlooking the lake. The setting felt relaxed and welcoming--perfect for both a special date night and family gathering. Service Our party included a 1-year-old, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. The servers were friendly, attentive, and helped make the experience easy and enjoyable. Food The food was solid across the board. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and flavorful. We ordered the calamari, vegetable pasta with added chicken, pork chop, steak, and spicy seafood. The standout dish was definitely the pork chop, but every dish was enjoyable. Overall This is a great spot for a special occasion or a family meal. Between the beautiful lake views, welcoming service, and good food, we had a very pleasant experience. I would recommend it and would happily return when I'm in the area again.
