I only found out about the management change after seeing the updates on Yelp. While they've kept the same name, Polished Nails, the business is completely independent from the previous management. I visited the other day for a gel-x soak-off after my three-week trip to Asia - I was long overdue for a clean-girl manicure and pedicure. I initially walked in without an appointment (rookie mistake!), so I definitely recommend making an appointment if you plan to visit. Steven was working on another customer when I arrived, but he kindly scheduled me to come back later that day - totally fair, given I hadn't called ahead. Steven and Hannah (new couple) completely remodeled the space, giving it a fresh, modern look. They've also expanded their selection with new polish colors and trendy design options, including textured effects like velvet (cat-eye), intricate 3D art, minimalist styles like micro French and nude diagonals, and bold finishes such as liquid-metal chrome and aura gradients. Steven and Hannah are offering 20% off for all services since they just had their grand re-opening. I requested a basic gel manicure ($35.00), organic basic gel pedicure ($42.00) and my gel-x soak-off ($10.00) - the total was $90.00 and with the 20% off, everything came out to be $72.00 (tipped separately). Though I only got a regular manicure without any designs, I was honestly so impressed by how meticulous and detailed Steven was. I change my nail color pretty often, and I've always wanted that perfect deep burgundy but for some reason, other salons/nail techs could never quite get the tone right. When I showed Steven the shade I had in mind, he did something unexpected: he mixed two different burgundy colors to create the exact tone I wanted. I've never had anyone do that before, and the result was spot on! Even with shaping, I usually have to "inspect" my nails afterward and request small fixes but not this time. Steven got it right on the first try, both in color and shape. It was practically perfect from the start, which says a lot! Regarding this specific Yelp page, it's important to note that it has been acquired by the new owners, Steven and Hannah. I recommend filtering the photos by "newest first" so you can see the updated nail designs and work done by them from August 2025 onward. Any older photos (prior to August) reflect the previous management - Cindy and her family, who no longer operate the salon. By doing this, you'll be able to see the difference in results and style between the previous management and the new one. Lastly, if you're someone who prefers a quiet, relaxing environment and wants to escape the loud, crowded nail salons in the area - while still getting quality nail art and care - I highly recommend coming here. It's peaceful, not overcrowded, and you can actually hear your own thoughts without feeling rushed.
