Made a reservation through the Yelp app. Rraci's was highly recommended by many friends. We live local. We walked in and were greeted and seated right away. We sat to wait for the other 2 in our party. Drink order was taken and we were checked in on until our party arrived. The specials were read to us and we ordered. We were there for my husbands 50th birthday. The waiter came back and told us the item my husband ordered was no longer available. It was a special. Very surprising for a 6pm reservation to be out of something so early. It was disappointing as it is favorite thing, but moving on. Our food was very good and the attentive service was impeccable. There was an older couple sitting next to our table and her phone started ringing (on the highest tone). Took her forever to answer and then she proceeded to FaceTime and yell in to the phone. It was inappropriate. Apparently the owner of the restaurant is one of her husbands clients. That's how loud she was. Well, if you are a Yelper. Then, know that you did this restaurant a disservice, as we had to listen to you carry on this conversation in a small area. We were there for a special night and unfortunately she set the tone for the evening. Luckily one of our neighbors saw us and helped us make light of the situation. This was a late Mother's Day dinner and it was delicious! I had the Pollo Martini, which was very good. Fresh vegetables on the side were a wonderful compliment. My father thought the veal special was delicious and my mother loved the lobster/crab ravioli. Jared finished every bite of the branzino special, which means.. well.. he's a nice Midwestern boy and would probably finish his plate just because he is such a nice guy, so no comment lol. Now let's talk about dessert - the chocolate mousse cake - WOW. The Napoleon, not a bite left on the plate. So why four stars? Well, we sat inside by the window. Sounds good on a somewhat chilly night, right? Well the smell of propane from the outdoor heat lamps was so bad, we were choking on the smell of propane. It really was tough. The food was wonderful. We had the Caesar Salad to start. The waiter was kind enough to have the salad served on 2 plates because we were splitting the order. The salad was terrific. My husband had the lasagna which was excellent. I had the duck which was perfectly prepared and had a wonderful sauce. The dessert was a bit disappointing. It was the mandarin sorbet. It wasn't totally frozen and the texture was a bit grainy. The wine was wonderful and the waiter was very attentive. The water glasses were constantly filled. It was nice that we didn't need to ask for more water. There were a couple of real negatives. The parking lot is not big for the crown that they have on a Saturday night. People make their own spots where they can. Also, when a big party is there, it is very hard to have a timely meal. Although we were with friends and enjoying the conversation, our meal took quite a long time with long pauses between courses. The window was open in our section and the smoke from a patron standing by the window talking to a person inside the restaurant was wafting through the restaurant. And the ladies room was not attended to at all. There were stalls that needed supplies and there was paper all over the floor. When big parties are around, this should be a high priority. read more

We went last night, Saturday, for a nice meal for 2. Reservations are easy through the Yelp app but you must reserve well in advance for a decent time because this is a popular place. All of the employees are masked up for most of the time. I did see the bartender take his off completely to interact with bar patrons a lot but maybe the rules at the bar are different, idk. We had 2-3 servers at any point in time which was ok but then trying to pay at the end of the night lagged and felt like we were waiting a long time. We chalked it up to them being busy. The specials were amazing! My husband had the butternut squash soup which he LOVED! I had the mozzarella app from the regular menu and it looked exactly as pictured online. It was delicious!!! Also the bread was very good with the oil/vinegar combination it was served with. For our entrees, I ordered the lamp chops and my husband had veal sorrentino. My lamb was cooked perfectly and it was just delicious! I'm usually not a big fan of mashed potatos but these were very creamy and good. For dessert, I ordered the almond rum cake special and my husband had chocolate mousse cake. They were especially good! Such a treat that it came with fun gelato flavors like coconut! Depending where you are sitting, it could get loud because of nearby patrons but it's not unbearable. There were always servers and managers milling around if you needed anything. For the most part, this was a good experience. We did think the time to get our entrees was a tad excessive, about an hour after ordering, plus took a while to get the check after asking twice. Back again and this place does not disappoint we had the warm mozzarella and prosciutto and the scallop with mushroom appetizer. For our meal I had the ravioli Quattro formaggia and my date ordered the fettuccine carbonara. The ravioli was outstanding perfectly cooked and presented. After visiting a few times since my original review it is clear the restaurant's popularity has grown as the bounty of mediocre "Italian" restaurants has exploded, most nothing more than upscale fast food in a modernized space with daily happy hour. The food here is always terrific and we visit periodically despite a rather lengthy trip (it's the one home that drags after some food & wine). Once again, the food is the star here. Our apps were fantastic - calamari was light, crisp (order two, the portion is small), spedini a la romana (capers and anchovy sauce), and burrata three ways - all delish. Water, wine and drinks all on point for the eight of us...then came the pause of unusual length before our "intermezzo" pasta (canneloni with baby sausage in a light tomato sauce), which rocked. And then a final monstrous gap before our entrees, with no visit or communication in the void. It is this sporadic drift from wonderful to puzzling that is typical here, and the reason that a "but" prevents a five star rating. Definitely worth a visit. The food is consistently on point. Absolutely the best Italian restaurant I have been to in many years. The newly opened outside area has the most amazing waterfall and landscaping. The inside is perfectly appointed - there are literally no "bad" tables. The scallops on potato pancake appetizer was truly incredible - the mushrooms and scallops combined with the crispy pancakes has scrumptious mouth-feel. The carpaccio was perfectly seasoned. The osso buco over risotto was perfectly cooked. The wine list was to die for! Took us 20 minutes just to pick one. John, our waiter, was attentive, thoughtful, knew everything about the dishes, and make us feel welcomed. If we are going to celebrate a special occasion, Rraci's is where we go. It is our absolute favorite. We save it for celebrations because it is more expensive than our every week haunts. As I stated, though, it is my absolute favorite. The pasta is homemade, delicious and if you think pasta won't fill you, this homemade pasta will. If I can, I'll order the Veal Milanese. My BIL introduced me to this dish and Rraci's is the best I've ever had. The service is impeccable. They make it seem easy, but they are one step ahead of the guest all of the time. And while it is sharp casual, there is a richness about the atmosphere and the service that makes the experience that much more luxurious. Order in advance the soufflé with the Creme Anglaise. I don't know anywhere else you can get this for dessert. Next time we go, we are getting the seafood tower, which has to be ordered in advance. I'll definitely post pictures. This restaurant is really 3.5 but I'm giving it a 4 star review. Ambiance is nice, a good special occasion dining destination. Food was generally good with some improvements needed. Seafood tower was outstanding, one of the best I've ever had. Caesar salad way too heavy on the dressing. Too rich. The linguine and clam sauce was not very good. The sauce was very thick and buttery rather than brothy. I couldn't eat it. It was just too heavy. My husband had the lamb chops and they were very good. Other guests enjoyed their steak, osso bucco and snapper, although again, they commented that the tomato sauce on the fish was much heavier and thick than expected. Desserts were delish. We had the raspberry soufflé and it was so light and delicious. I'm hoping to return and try something else to see if my experience improves. Don't waste your time coming here, damn hahaha I don't even know where to begin ... Ok well I had reservations at 8pm, I was greeted immediately and thought. Wow this place is going to be pretty impressive ... 45 minutes later, I was finally sat down, but wait it gets better !! After a short while, we finally got some menus and were able to order appetizers. Now I'm not sure if the waiter was new, but after reading other reviews. This place has a tendency to have awkward service. When I say awkward I mean very awkward. It took them probably 45 minutes to get a Moscow Mule and decaf cappuccino to the table. On tap of that the drinks were horrible. I might as well should have ordered a vodka with ice. While eating our appetizers we put in the food cause we figured our food would come by the time we finish the appetizers. I'd say a solid hour went by before we got our food. Hahaha my plate was just terrible, it has to be the worst filet I've ever had in my life. It had no taste, absolutely none. All I could taste was the char that was on the bottom of the filet. So I just sat there and ate my two pieces of broccoli and three potato wedge fries. It was my mother's birthday so I gave them a cake earlier. So that we could surprise her after dinner. While the waiter was near me, I whispered to him if he could bring out the cake. 15 minutes go by and he comes back and asks me out loud, in front of my mom, if I wanted the cake .... I just started laughing. I couldn't believe my ears. For a high class restaurant, the service was atrocious. I'd been eyeing this restaurant for months after a friend posted photos of her massive seafood tower - from that moment on, I knew I had to come here for my birthday dinner. I was delighted to find that the seafood tower was customizable by size; I was the only person at the table who wanted it, and they were able to make an individual one just for me. With oysters, jumbo shrimp and a full lobster, it pulled out all the stops for my night of birthday spoiling. Key lime pie martinis and tiramisu were outstanding as well. I ordered the lobster ravioli to go in case I got hungry later - it didn't disappoint in taste, but the portion was sadly quite small. It was only about four raviolis. A lot of hype surrounding this place so I wanted to check it out. The atmosphere is nice, but it doesn't give me the warm inviting feeling one should get from an Italian restaurant. The waiters weren't very attentive, for 'fine dining' you would definitely expect more diligent service. The bus boys honestly were more attentive. I really liked the appetizers, the mozzarella and calamari were very fresh; portions were made for a mouse of course. For my entree I got the osso buco. The portions were really skimpy again. The veal was tender but the risotto was bland. Entree was alright. The mixed drinks were good. Overall, I wasn't impressed and would definitely expect more for the price. This place is insanely overrated and you can get far better for cheaper. They charge you Ruth's Chris prices, and give you Applebee's service. The food wasn't compelling either. Went here for the first time tonight for my boyfriend's bday. Here's what I loved- The attention to detail was there from being greeted at door, white table cloth (in which they kept up with crumbs), bread right away, attentive service, etc... The food was excellent- we tried the carpaccio app & calamari. Carpaccio was amazing! The meat was so thin and the flavor was all there. Calamari was a bit greasy (leaving a pool of oil on the plate) good, loved the spicy sauce. Drinks were great. The entrees were tasty! They brought a dessert with a candle for my boyfriend's bday :) Could have been better- Portions on the entree should be a bit more plentiful for the price, goes a long way. Server was attentive but not very personable which I appreciate as a server myself. The large bathroom stall apparently doesn't lock and swung open out of nowhere, very odd as the door appeared to be locked... It is broken and should be fixed. The restaurant is extraordinarily and uncomfortably noisy. The food was ok but definitely not worth the expense. The waiter was not particularly friendly nor did he ensure that I got the right drink that I ordered. He did not come back to check if everything was all right with the food and if we needed anything which I did need something and had to stop eating until I received it. There is a very long pause in between courses. Everyone working there seems kind of humdrum just not really enthusiastic and welcoming in performing their job. There is definitely nothing special about this place that would warrant the prices they charge. read more

I had the salmon special it was pretty tasty, my friend had the red snapper on the wood they said it wasn't that great it was breaded and kind of dry. Another friend had the homemade spaghetti with shrimp, clams, muscled they said it was eh ok. Another friend had the duck it looked very greasy and was flat and fried like a cutlet. Wasn't a fan of the pistachio soufflé it was super mushy in the middle and dough like. The waiters don't crack a smile everyone seems super uptight and stuffy.
