Looking for a breakfast item I came across these muffin/cupcakes at my little local grocery and thought I'd try them out. Apparently they are available at a number of grocery stores and supermarkets. There were a few choices and I opted for the carrot with yogurt. They are delicious- smooth, moist and creamy. Very tasty, indeed. The carrot taste is subtle and doesn't bowl you over like with some carrot cakes. The only quibble I have is that they are a bit sweet and sugary tasting. The filling is a nice change from an ordinary muffin, so I was quite pleased. Now I'm open to trying some of their other products.

I'm obsessed with Rubicon bakery items First discovered them in Sprouts~ The little vegan chocolate blackout cake chocolate cake is my favorite! So good with coffee or whenever your craving a sweet indulgence.. I really like the birthday cake too.. it grows on you fast!! My husband likes the vegan carrot cake I'm trying their vegan chocolate blackout cupcakes for the first time (from Whole Foods) W-o-w! Delicious ! I moved across the country recently & I'm so happy I'm able to get them where we moved Now, I've got to get into a good work out routine to burn those extra cals

So good almost ate it all before remembering to take a photo lol

My friend bought their chocolate cake from Safeway for someone's birthday and wow the first bite was shockingly good! Sorry Safeway, haven't been super impressed with your cakes, but this one is a different caliber! Moist, rich, decadent chocolate will knock the socks off your taste buds without being overly sweet. We looked up this company and it's such a good cause giving second chances to those in need. Will be supporting them more often and trying other products!

Here's another batch of them I bought. The chocolate ganache on top is smooth and not too sweet, it's delicious!

Delicious cupcakes! Wow! I buy the Chocolate Cream flavor from Sprouts and it's amazing! If you love Hostess, you'll love these, because It tastes like a fancy hostess, but so much better!! It's made with all natural ingredients too The cupcake part is moist and chocolatey, the frosting is creamy, smooth, and chocolatey, then the vanilla filling is my favorite part. It's not too sweet, it's just right! These cupcake taste like the ones they sale at bakeries!! Try them and see

So delicious! I buy their cupcakes at Target- $5.99 for 4. The chocolate cream filled cupcakes are a fancier version of the Hostess ones. The carrot cake cupcakes are my favorite. The cake part is moist and full of whole raisins, carrot shavings, and walnuts. It is also filled with their fantastic cream cheese frosting!

Super moist!! Pic probably doesnt do it justice.

There was no greeting, she barely said two words to us, and mostly responded with "mhm" and stares. Not even a simple "thank you" after we paid. It's unfortunate because good customer service is the bare minimum. Your customers are the reason your business is able to keep its doors open, and they shouldn't be made to feel like an inconvenience simply for walking in and ordering. I'd recommend taking your business elsewhere. There are plenty of Latin American bakeries where the service is much kinder, warmer, and more welcoming, and the prices are much more reasonable. We won't be coming back.

I am so disappointed at the food changes and feeling bad to give a bad review as I love supporting small businesses and love Salvadorean food. There's a lot of room to improve. I've been eating Salvi food since I was child. If you order to go check before you leave. I had an item missing. I called and was able to get a refund. She handled it nice too since she forgot to add it. I took food to go. I added pictures on all. The tamales both chipilin and pork were good. The masa was excellent. The size was small to medium. The pupusas are tiny, they are good but nothing extraordinary. As they are small there's no cheese stretch or a good feel about the filling. The masa is good. The quesadilla pasty was crumbly, it did not feel fresh. It was dry with no flavor compared to ones I've eaten before. The best Salvi quesadillas are moist. The guava, pineapple, and custard empanada pastry were small. The pineapple one did not feel fresh, more on the dry side, crumbly compared to other flavors. The pork empanada was probably the worst. They were tiny with hardly any filling. The empanadas usually have a ground meat or shredded chicken. This one had pieces of pork so it was not flavorful at all. There's table seating indoors and outdoors. The yucca con chicharron was okay too. Usually it comes with a salad like but this one came with 1 beet, 1 slice of tomato and 1 slice of cucumber with a small bag of curtido. No sauce. Tip: The server gave me a business card and recommended to call for orders to go as the waiting time was 30 minutes. I did not mind waiting. I appreciated her sharing this. Tip: recommend the pork tamal. The pupusas if hungry get at least 3.

Recently picked up a mini bite-sized, Lava Chocolate Mooncake, which I thought was a nice and new fusion style creation. When I brought it home and cut into it, told myself I am definitely getting this again next time I'm at a Sheng Kee Bakery! Loved the gooey "lava" flow of the chocolate sauce in the filling. They used lotus seed and multiple beans (white kidney beans, red, mung, etc) in the bean paste filling too. Was perfectly not too sweet and the mini size was perfect for me not to overindulge. Sheng Kee is one of my favorite chain brands for Taiwanese/Asian bakeries. Prices are usually reasonable and quality/flavor is consistent. They seem to be a popular regional brand as I've only ever seen them around Northern California.

I would say the quality has been declining in recent years. In my latest batch, I found a hair in my pineapple bun which has not happened before but it's not going to stop me from getting my walnut cookies! The location is convenient and the staff is pleasant.

The customer in front of me said that they always have new things and you never know when they will discontinue something. He enjoyed the chocolate cloud cake. I found out today that I could get a light bake or a dark bake for the Miche. This was very good to know as last week I had a dark bake and it was very bitter. Today I intentionally got a light bake. Right next door is a Peet's coffee shop which is perfect for getting a cup of coffee and enjoying it with their fresh pastries.
