    2nd 2 meat combo

Ruby Red's BBQ is such a gem! This was my first time coming with the family and we were so impressed with the quality of the food, service and ambiance! I ordered 2-2 Meat Combos at $46.99 each. I adjusted the number of ribs in the order for a full rack on each order, which was an $14.99 per order. We also ordered the brisket in both combos. We had 7 people in our party and the amount of food was just right, with a few ribs to take home. The sides that we ordered were: Mac and Cheese, Brisket Beans, Chuckwagon Chili, and Salt Potatoes. We also ordered 3 cornbread muffins on the side to share. The brisket is a 10/10!!! So tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned! The ribs were also delicious but a tad spicy for me. The meats were so good just with the rub! All the sides were yummy but the standouts were the corn bread muffin with the maple butter! Kevin was our waiter-attentive, fast and funny! I love that Ruby Red's BBQ was so understanding about our family's nut and seafood allergies!! When I made the reservation online, they had a list of about 20 allergens that I could let them be aware of! Kudos to them for being so careful!! One other standout was they gave our table a complimentary order of beignets to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Such a nice touch!

Went for my birthday because I was craving some classic American barbecue. The meat here was so good. The quality of the cuts and the seasoning and flavor were perfect! The brisket was sooo tender and the waitstaff was very attentive and kind. Inside is super warm and decorated. I definitely will come back. 10/10 would recommend!

This place is an unexpected gem hidden in a busy shopping center. I love the interior decor. It felt like being at Knott's or Disneyland with how detailed and immersive it was. There was a wait when we came in for Sunday lunch/brunch but the hostess and our server were very nice and attentive. The food came in big portions and was very delicious. They have a softer fluffier waffle which I enjoyed a lot but may not be ideal if you prefer crunchier or Belgian style waffle. I specifically came for the biscuits and gravy as this is the specialty dish that I rate for every breakfast restaurant. To start off, visually this is a very chunky biscuits and gravy. It is not the prettiest but those chunks of sausage really made the gravy standout. Surprisingly it was not dry despite how chunky it was. As for the biscuits, I would not say that they were your traditional biscuit. They did not have the crumbly flakiness of your traditional southern biscuits. They were more like a corn bread. However, their biscuit bread did have great flavor and softness. The bread was sweet but it balanced really well with the savory sausage gravy. Overall these biscuits and gravy are a 9/10. Only taking off a point because the biscuits were not traditional but still a very delicious dish.

Oh my god! The food was so delicious, went early so it wasn't busy at all and service was good. The actual restaurant itself is so cute and cozy, reminds me of red dead redemption, mismatched chairs and cool chandeliers. Got some breakfast items. Pancakes were phenomenal, and the brisket Benedict was a good choice too

So good! Miguel was a great server. Sweet pig sandwich was delicious, could only eat half. Hubby had the pastrami and loved it. Mac & cheese was homemade. Brought some cornbread home for breakfast tomorrow. Interior is absolutely beautiful. Give it a try.

Service was fine, ambiance was fine. The food was just not good. It wasn't terrible, by any means, it just wasn't good. The meats were under seasoned, the brisket was not juicy, the chicken breast came out dry and lukewarm, at best. The food did not taste fresh whatsoever. The only redeeming factor was the smoked sausage was quite good.

Second time here, from decor to the meat is fire . Service is good too. Both times there was a full house but no wait. So I can't truly call it a hidden gem even though it seems like it. Definitely a good place for a date or bday celebration. Need I say I'll be back?

Saloon area at Ruby Red recently

We had a group of 10 for our belated "holiday" dinner celebration at Ruby Red recently. Food was great, we ordered the "feast" and the accompanying sides. Our server Amanda was great and very helpful! The protein portion of our meal was very generous but "made from scratch" sides were much smaller for the amount of people at our table. One of our friends had been to Ruby Red several times and recommended this place to our group. I loved the salon ambiance there and thought it was befitting to the Ghost Town area of Knott's Berry Farm. Overall it was a satisfying visit. Looking for to my next visit here!

Great BBQ spot right in our backyard!!! Owner of the restaurant helped us out. It was surprisingly busy for a Thursday afternoon. We ordered the following: Shared a 2 meat combo with the Mrs. We opted for double Brisket sides of Mac & Cheese and a potato salad. $46.99. Ian wanted Brisket so he got himself a Texan Sandwich with Waffle Fries as his side. $23.99. Brisket was delicious! It was soo juicy, tender and melt in our mouth!! (+1) Ian devoured his Brisket sandwich. He was a teenager on a mission. Haha. (+1) Peach cobbler was decadent. Mrs. and I loved the fresh fruit in the dish! (+1) Mac & Cheese tastes home made and hearty. Potato Salad was light and savory. Price might appear a tad bit high BUT the portion, flavor and taste make it worth it! All and all it was a great lunch! We will be back. You guys should definitely try this restaurant out.

For 2 plate. More than enough for 3-4

Food was great the chicken was really good so was the cornbread. Would go back just for forebears chicken and Arnold palmers.

I had no idea that inside Ruby Red's is like going on a vacation and being on a ship. The windows outside make the place look closed but inside is so nice. Each booth has a beautiful water view in the "window." The service was amazing and made our brunch enjoyable. The breakfast menu is large. I had the pulled pork Benedict. The meat had just enough sauce and it was on a round, thick toasted bread that looked like a muffin. We also got 3 different pancakes: blueberry compote (it was yummy but the blue food coloring in the fruit cream was a bit too blue), lemon with coconut (my fav) and banana foster. I would have preferred more natural cream with no artificial coloring as they tasted really good. My friend ordered the pastrami with over easy eggs. It was pretty meaty and good too. Will definitely be back to try the bbq ribs and other menu items.

Do you serve baby back ribs?

Hi Michael. We don’t use baby back ribs. Other restaurants do since they can cook them quickly, but our slow-smoked St. Louis ribs are even better — they’re meatier, more flavorful, and come out extra tender from our low-and-slow smoking process.…

Are there gluten free options available?

The menu is available on their website. See for yourself.

Do you offer any Brunch specials like unlimited mimosas?

We currently do not offer unlimited Mimosas but that’s a great idea! if you were running the restaurant, what would you charge for unlimited Mimosas?

    1. What time does brunch end?

Great question. Currently we stop taking breakfast orders around 12. However, for Easter, we will be serving breakfast through 2 PM. We may also extend breakfast options in the future depending on demand. Thanks for asking. Steve Williamson

We ended up splitting a bottle of wine and ordered the caprese. The caprese was so fresh and even had pesto in the middle. It was a great start to dinner. We were even given rolls with butter as well. We actually chose this place because they have a cheese wheel and no one ended up ordering that. They also were very attentive and refilled our water without us asking. I got the rigatoni a las vodka with chicken, and my two other friends got the baked rigatoni and the fettuccine Alfredo. Our dishes were delicious and perfectly seasoned. We also ordered the chocolate Gelato and tiramasu for dessert. Those were a perfect night cap to our dinner and catch up session. The restaurant is deceptively big and had a whole back area, I am guessing for large parties. It was very clean and we were able to catch up without any issues. I definitely recommend coming here for the food and excellent service.

Was expecting crispy bacon on the benny considering the description, but the only difference from classic seemed to be the avocado. The benny egg and muffin were both collected well, especially the eggs they did a great job on those. Wife didn't like the flavor of the hollandaise sauce, but thought it was fine.
