This place is amazing! Best BBQ I have had! My wife and I are here on our date night and our sever Amanda was the best! She helped us make all the right decisions from the best sauce to the best dessert! I got the full house sandwich and my wife got the Texan, for sides we got the cornbread with their delicious maple butter and the southern creamy corn! For dessert we got the made to order beignets! My family and I have had Ruby Red's a few times but only for take out and lunch/dinner. The food is really good! I recommend the brisket, hot links and chicken breast. The brisket has amazing flavor and is super tender - it's my favorite. For sides I recommend the salt potatoes (melt in your mouth), creamed corn and coleslaw. I plan to try their breakfast soon as that menu looks amazing! I also want to mention how accommodating and friendly the staff is. Everyone is very helpful and patient (especially with my large family to-go orders!). I look forward to returning for breakfast and for dining at the restaurant. A+++ for delicious BBQ! read more

Ruby Red BBQ is so good. The brisket was incredibly tender and paired perfectly with their Carolina sauce. The house sausage was warmer than expected but still packed with flavor. The potato salad was fantastic--almost as good, if not better, than Texas bbq. We tried three sides: mac n cheese, chili, and brisket beans. All of them were delicious. The mac n cheese stood out as especially great. Overall, the brisket was really good, and I can't wait to return and try more dishes! read more

So, this place makes delicious barbecued meat. Hands down. You can tell it's fresh and moist by looking at the bounce and texture. I/we have purchased from here twice. Both times with a to-go order. This time I ordered two Full House sandwiches, a pint of macaroni and cheese, and a single order of corn bread with honey butter. Those sandwiches are huge! And the Mac n cheese is to die for. I'm normally not a big fan of mac and cheese but this one is amazing. The corn bread is good as well. I thought the service was very nice. It could have been because I was there close to closing time, and they wanted to leave the best last impression. Nah, they're probably always very nice. Anyway, come and enjoy. Family took me out for my birthday. Unassuming exterior, but when you walked in, you are transported into a midwest saloon from the 1800's. Been coming to RR for several month with the family, all the food is great, service is awesome, the sides are all 5 stars and the prices are more than fair. We have been intrigued by the bull out front and so finally tried it and we couldn't be happier. The owner happened to be there and told us so many amazing stories that made our visit even better. The decor is next level as was the service. Our server Jeanette was fantastic and gave us great recommendations that did not disappoint. The Texas Ruben 10/10! Went to Ruby Red's BBQ for lunch 8/13/24 and it doesn't disappoint. Food was delicious and came out quickly. My wife and I ordered 1/2 LB of brisket: Was tender and had a good Smokey flavor too it. Fat was rendered perfectly especially for being the flat part of the whole. 1 LB of the pork ribs: Ribs were great. Hard to explain but they fell off the bone when needed and held onto the bone when taking a bite, which is something I only experience at a few locations in Texas. Sliders: my wife got 2 of them and they were delicious, didn't need sauce at all but just to get the full experience, she did use sauce for some bites. French fries: ungodly good Mac and cheese: delicious, crisp top and creamy underneath. Would order a bucket of it if possibly. The inside was extremely pleasant and comfortable and would give anybody a bias for BBQ over any other cuisine. We sat in a booth and they have a large screen showing the background of a nature while you eat. Service: Unfortunately I do not remember the same of our server but he was fantastic. Extremely polite, efficient, and knew the menu extremely well. If it helps, we dined around 2:15ish pm, so whoever it was that served us, give him a raise or highlight his name in a reply so those that visit can tip him generously. I heard they served breakfast and thought I'd try it out. One of the worst waffles I've ever had. It was undercooked throughout. When I told the server she said, "Oh. I'm sorry." Then she just handed me the check. I tried this place when they first opened. Also the worst brisket I've ever had. I tasted great, but the cut was ALL fat. I like fat on brisket, but that was ridiculous. I'll give them another chance, but so far it was two balls pitched and two strikes. read more

You need run and not walk to Ruby Red's. My wife and I stopped by for breakfast. Oh my!!! The biscuits and gravy are to kill for (need to try hard to explain) and the briskit and eggs well forget about it. Wow!! The pancakes are the best I've ever had. My wife had the pulled pork benedict. She hasn't stopped smiling. And the decor of the restaurant is just amazing. We were fortunate to have the server Lani. What a kind and helpful young lady. Got take out Brisket and Cornbread Brisket was amazingly flavored and literally melted in my mouth! My only complaint is that it's way too salty. Definitely a must try with bread Cornbread was humongous and sweetened perfectly even without the butter. More moist than usual cornbread, but I love the lightness of the texture too. Ruby Red's BBQ left a truly sour taste in our mouths tonight. We arrived around 7 PM and were told the wait would be approximately 20 minutes. Fast forward to 7:38 PM, and another group was informed they were next in line, with the excuse that the kitchen was backed up and they didn't want to seat people without food ready. The fact that numerous patrons were standing around suggests their preference was for us to stand for an hour rather than offer even a semblance of hospitality by seating us and perhaps offering a drink. To add insult to injury, our group was completely ignored during this explanation to the other party. That other group was finally seated around 7:48 PM, and we were supposedly next. Then, at a staggering 7:55 PM - after a full 55 minutes of waiting - an employee emerged to inform us that they only had one rack of ribs left and no other meat options. My husband understandably exclaimed, "We've been waiting for 50 minutes?!" to which the employee simply replied, "Yeah, sorry guys." The handling of this situation was abysmal. Basic hospitality dictates that when a significant error like this occurs, an establishment should attempt to rectify it. A simple "We sincerely apologize for the extended wait and our kitchen issues; please accept a complimentary appetizer/drink/future discount" would have gone a long way. Instead, we were met with a dismissive "sorry." Furthermore, the lack of inventory awareness is baffling. How does a BBQ restaurant not know the quantity of their main offerings? Knowing they were running low on food, especially after experiencing kitchen delays, should have prompted them to inform waiting customers much earlier. This would have saved everyone valuable time and prevented the immense frustration we experienced. Based solely on this shocking lack of service and basic operational awareness, I cannot recommend Ruby Red's BBQ. There are plenty of other establishments in the area that understand the importance of customer service and efficient management. Save yourself the wasted time and disappointment. read more

wow, it is hard to describe the magnificence of Ruby Red's bbq. i came in tonight with my family and we were visiting from Arizona and for a friday night I cannot believe the place was not slam packed with a line out the door. RUN AND TRY IT!!!! my family ordered some of the bbq sandwiches which were huge! only sad thing was, they don't come with a side, but sometimes I can be cheap haha. everything else was amazing!!! decor is beautiful! Gwen was our server, and she is the best of the best. Seriously, I have never met any server who has been as kind and thoughtful as Gwen. She made the experience top notch and my kids LOVED her. she is EXCELLENT. She was super funny and sweet, and we never had to call for her because she was so attentive. My husband and I were shocked when we asked if she was the manager and she said no and we asked if her parents owned the place and she said no but some friends from church did. what an awesome establishment and a great young woman. I had a really pleasant experience here and would give it a solid 4 stars! The absolute highlight for me was the venue itself. The interior of the restaurant is very cool, definitely channeling an old Western saloon environment. It features beautiful dark wood, an old Western-style chandelier, and high ceilings that give the place a spacious yet rustic vibe. The inside is just really cool to look at while you eat. On top of that, the service was very nice, and the servers were all very cute and attentive. For my meal, I ordered the beef brisket sandwich, which came with one side. The flavor of the beef brisket was good, but the meat itself was actually kind of dry. I tend to prefer a much more moist brisket, so that was the only real letdown of the food. The restaurant is located in a huge shopping center surrounded by grocery stores and other restaurants. Because the parking lot is shared amongst all the different businesses in the area, finding a spot can be a total hit-or-miss depending on the time of day you visit. I was able to go to a soft opening. Wow, this place is AMAZING! The brisket was tender and juicy, and the ribs were just the right amount of pull-off-the-bone delicious. The sides we tried were wonderful -- the cornbread had an excellent consistency, especially paired with the maple butter. The macaroni salad had enough little veggies in it to keep it interesting, and the cole slaw was actually better than anything the Colonel ever dreamt of. Even the desserts were delicious. But the real differentiator is the employees (and the owners). Everyone I met there was genuinely nice. Do you know how rare that is? We ordered the chicken and waffles, and the breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito was fine, and was a generous size; the salsa that came with it just tasted like a chipotle cholula. The chicken and waffles really did blow me away though. The chicken strips were so flavorful, and worked with both the syrup and the white gravy that they provide; only downside was that the chicken was a little stringy and chewy for my taste. When you are sat down, they bring you a bottle of water so that you can pour yourself the water. After that, no one really checks in on you. Which is a bit of an issue, since we did run out of water by the time we were done with the food. And if you wanted to order more food afterwards, you're kind of out of luck. And you tip at the counter before you even sit down? Just a bit illogical from a consumer perspective. Maybe it's because I came a little earlier in the morning, but it was pretty quiet atmosphere, in a good way. It had enough people where it wasn't an awkward silence, but not so loud that you'd have to raise your voice to communicate across the table. My biggest issue is with the prices here. $17 for a burrito, $19 for the chicken and waffles. And this is before tax/tip, for an establishment where their only job is to bring you the food, without really checking up on you afterwards. Menu prices just seemed a little steep, considering that they're not operating with the same amount of service as a full sit-down restaurant experience. I'd come back, but I'd have to be seriously craving the food before willingly paying these prices again.

No buckwheat on hand for the buckwheat pancake I fancied (it's a bulk staple, so how do you run out?). Ordered the brioche french toast and an omelette. While overpriced (~$19 for the french toast) and delivery 20+ minutes after ordering (industry standard is about 10-12 mins for this dish, less for the omelette), taste was good and almost made up for the blasé service and tardiness. Net-net, this was my fourth and final stop at Early Bird. I might miss the french toast, but they won't miss us.

Each item was a solid choice, and I really appreciated that they served the sauces on the side. Really rooting for this spot and excited to see what new items they add to the menu.
