Friday night dinner was not a good experience. We were taking a friend out for her birthday, and was so disappointed. Our waiter Brandon was very nice and accommodating. The food and wait time was over an hour. Our hamburger meat was served raw, even after it was sent back to the kitchen. Not Rare-but RAW. The manager didn't seem overly concerned. I am staying close by for work so I tried them out. What a disappointment. I was at the bar and waited 15 minutes just for a draft and there were only a couple people at the bar. Then the infighting started between the manager and the disgruntled servers two of them.... who weren't getting any tables to make tips from but they wanted to eat for free. As someone who has worked in the food industry I understand how it can be difficult when short staffed. I just got in from a flight and was starving and despite reviews decided to check it out because it was walking distance from my hotel. Dave was amazing. He was very sweet and kind. You can tell the whole staff was doing their absolute best with the minimal people they had. Food was delicious and Dave made an amazinggg Moscow mule. My family and I recently moved to Mebane from a neighboring town and decided to try out Ruby Tuesdays on 119 (on a Friday night) Needless to say we will NEVER be back. Waited for 20 minutes to get drinks and another 40 plus for our food (which never came due to us leaving) Zero refills on drinks or checkups. Upon our decision to leave we contacted the hostess and informed them of our decision and that we would like to pay for the limited services we did receive ( 3 drinks and 2 salad bars) which totaled $32.68. The manger did nothing but stand there with a dumbfounded look. I would like to think this service was due in part of again, it being a Friday night buuuuut there were a total of about 20 patrons inside eating including my party of 3. Caitlyn was truly AMAZING!!!!! She was the hostess and our waitress!!!! Very pleasant and greeted us with a smile and upbeat personality. She sat us in a section we loved based on the ambiance. Very attentive to our needs and orders. All of our food was brought out fresh and hot! Her good vibes were all the way on 10! Definitely visit when she works. Normally during the week days. The ruby Tuesday in our hometown was closed down due to a highway expansion, so when we stayed at the holiday inn right up the street and I saw this restaurant I was super excited! It took about 5-7 minutes before we were greeted at the front door and sat down. Multiple dirty tables throughout the restaurant. The server walked by and said that he would be right back, and didn't come back for about 10 minutes. When he finally did show up, he asked how we were doing, my husband said great, you? And he proceeded to complain about his life and how much he works there on top of his other job. I understand being tired and overworked, but I really didn't want to hear his life story. We were surprised that the one thing Ruby Tuesday is famous for, the salad bar, was now included free with all entrees. Now we know why. Gone are the cold plates, the fresh fruits, dried cranberries, the cottage cheese, and even the sliced ham & turkey was no more. I shed a single tear as I prepared my plate. We only got 2 dinky-sized cheddar biscuits with our 2 meals, just enough to leave us longing for the old times of 4 or more "big ol'" ones. The rest of the meal, while certainly not over the top spectacular, wasn't bad at all. The steak had a good texture and okay flavor. The dry rub ribs were okay too, but actually a bit too dry. A good Sam Adams Octoberfest brew and pretty decent service, including a check-in from the manager made this an okay evening out. Trashy, could be way cleaner. They had some super loud drunks at the bar talking about dogs escaping in their training facility leaving "shit prints" everywhere. I asked for non a itemized receipt. This Ruby Tuesday does a good job in food preparation and timeliness of order prep. Unfortunately in this time of Covid their take out and curb side service is very poor. Again tonight most of the customers had to go into the take out entrance and request their food which was just sitting on the shelf. This place has really went down, if you set at the bar you will receive service, but if they put you at a table you have to look for your wait staff, or go to the bar and get for yourself. They are all about take out and not so much eat in. The salad bar is poorly stocked and if you ask for something you get attitude. This restaurant was only another frozen overpriced food experience. First off I have had Ruby Tuesday a lot and I enjoyed it for the most part. This one seemed to be different. The first problem I had encountered was that the lettuce at the salad bar was not good (not to mention one of the four lettuce containers was empty and two were brown). Next thing that happened is that I had ordered chicken and broccoli without broccoli and it had come without broccoli but there still were pieces in my pasta and the pasta had tasted frozen. The broccoli in my side salad had not tasted good and the cottage cheese was warm. 0/10 don't go to this Ruby Tuesday there are better Ruby Tuesday's out there. read more

Our server was friendly and had a great personality, you could tell that he loved his job. He checked on our table often and was attentive to our drinks. The salad bar was fresh and they seem to have added more items since the last time I've been to Ruby Tuesday. The employees made sure the salad bar was stock and had plates for guest. We like Ruby Tuesday. I go for the salad bar. They have a large variety of menu choices. Service is good. Prices are affordable. I would just like to add, that I've read all the "bad" reviews below and this place is very clean, the food is quite good and it's miles above most other chains in this area. I stand by my five stars. I write food criticism online. It's a shame that the vast majority of customers who are satisfied don't write good reviews to offset the few sour apples. read more

We had bear the rush. She brought our appetizer without plates & informed us that they are no longer serving their biscuits. Seriously, they were the best, lol. Anyway, I had ordered a salad that came warm & with brown lettuce. Both of us ordered the avocado turkey burger which is always delicious unfortunately not this time. The place is great when they're fully staffed. It doesn't make sense to wait 30-45 min for food when there's only 9 people in the place.

In all my times being a waitress, I have never in my entire lifetime had to tell a server how she should do her job especially in front of a manager. Waited 15 minutes before we were greeted. Another 20 minutes for drinks. Then another 30 minutes for the food we never received because "I had to go drop your fries." Instead of standing around doing nothing, come tell us that there was a wait on fries and maybe we would've been a little more understanding. Waitress didn't bother to come check on us. THE HOSTESS HAD TO DO THE WAITRESSES JOB FOR HER. Then proceeded to charge $33 for 3 drinks and 2 salads.. The service in this place is absolutely terrible with the exception of the two people who did acknowledge us and our issues. The management needs to be looked into. As a manager if there is a complaint do not just stand there with a dumb look on your face and ignore your customers while your customers are telling your employee how to do her job because she's a terrible waitress and telling you that they are cancelling their order and leaving. My wife loves RT so we went here after she got some bad medical news. Food: My bacon-BBQ cheeseburger and fries were very good. My wife had a chicken burger and loved it. Prices: VERY EXPENSIVE for a causal dining restaurant. My burger was $10 and the cheapest meal item on the menu. Most items are over $15. Servers are very load and inconsiderate of customers. Met a friend for an early dinner. The servers were all socializing with each other and were so load we could not hear our on conversation at out table. I finally had to ask them to tone it down so we could enjoy our on conversation. I'm afraid my request did not last long as they got started again shortly there after, but at least they were not as loud. Also, it looked like something has been thrown on the window and it had been allowed to run down. A good manager that pays attention to details would have had that window cleaned immediately. I always count on Ruby Tuesday's being well above average for a meal while traveling on the interstate highway, and this one exceeded expectations. The salad bar was clean and well maintained and the ingredients fresh. The service was attentive. I had a crab cake with my salad and my wife had a quesadilla, and both were very good. read more

Seated promptly, service was good, but the food was alright. The salad bar is very good and recommended to try when visiting. Salad bar was probably better than out dinner, try to remember this is not a steak house so don't expect a steak house steak.
