    Salad bar creation
    Tim A.

This place was the only restraunt that was not in a hotel within walking distance. This place is a food desert, especially with as many hotels are right there. You can usually depend on Ruby Tuesday to have a solid salad bar. This one was very minimal and not well stocked. I tried it but it just wasn't great. I ordered an unsweet iced tea. It tasted like that tea you get from a fountain but the server assured me it was brewed in house, anyway I sent it back. I had the fish for dinner. Catfish should flake apart with a fork. this required a knife. It wasn't the fish it was the batter. It was really bad. Once I finally finished, I asked for a check 3 times. The lady kept telling me she had to get a machine. When I paid, she said the machine would not print a receipt and she would have to get it from the bar. I was there more than 30 minutes longer than needed just trying to pay and get a receipt. This is exactly the experience that is causing financial trouble for Ruby Tuesday throughout the country.

    Spinach Artichoke Dip

We stopped in with a group of 5 during a weekday. The space was nearly empty and we were seated quickly. I ordered the spinach artichoke dip. This was very watery with little taste and the chips were stale and covered with a seasoning that I might expect on nachos. I would not get this again and would not recommend. The staff were quick at refilling drinks and getting our orders.

Mark and I are staying at the adjacent Hilton Embassy Suites hotel for a financial crimes conference for my job. This small stretch of hotels next to the airport is a food dead zone. Ruby Tuesday's and a WaWa gas station are the only dining options other than the mediocre dining options inside the strip of budget hotels. The restaurant is an easy walk from five budget hotels. The staff was friendly and efficient and our server Shaun was friendly and efficient. The menu is a bit large and overwhelming. We ordered the appetizer trio with loaded potato skins, chicken tenders and fried stuffed mushrooms- it tasted decent but was clearly all frozen products that had been fried or convection cooked. Mark ordered the triple patty smashed burger with fries and he found it to be hot and delicious. I ordered the hickory bourbon salmon entree with the side of grilled zucchini and rice pilaf- it was decent but a little bland and in need of more seasonings. We enjoyed dirty martinis and the Monday night discounted wine by the glass specials. For dessert we split the carrot cake and it was delicious. The dining area is spacious and clean and features an all you can eat salad bar that is a throwback to the 80s. Overall we enjoyed our dinner here and it's a decent value for the money in an area that lacks dining options.

Came here while staying across the street at the Marriott. The venue accommodated our party of 11. Most of us had been here before so we knew what to get. I got the spinach and artichoke dip and Caesar salad with grilled chicken. They were both good, the Caesar salad comes with brown croutons. The dip comes with chips that are lightly seasoned.

Eh. Better than eating at the airport. My waiter was really nice. The Ruby Relaxer was tasty. I was quite disappointed with my Philly cheesesteak sub. The steak seems like ground burger. The flavor was pretty blah. Reminder that three is not bad. Three is average, that's what this was. I'd stop by again in a pinch, but definitely order something different.

The service is ok. But they over salt everything!! Are here a few times while stuck at a nearby hotel and each meal was very salty.

They offer about ten different made to order salads. The salads range in calories with the majority at about 300 before adding dressing. I had to stand there waiting for (and staring at) my completely ready-to-go salad because the guy in front of me was waiting for his sandwich. That didn't make sense. Just let me pay! You're in an airport so you really need to be efficiently organized for hangry/rushed travelers! My salad was fine, but they dumped way too much dressing on it. I also didn't have much time to eat it, since they decided to start boarding not long after they handed out the vouchers. Glad I didn't pay, since that was one pricey salad. It used up most of my voucher! Ah, well. I'd pass on this place in the future, but it wasn't a terrible meal.

Great location at Terminal D and easy to walk to after getting off the shuttle. Second, I love fresh food, and it is HARD to find that when traveling in an airport. I am currently exhausted and sleep-deprived, and all I wanted tonight was something fresh that wasn't a salad for once. You don't make friends with salad, and I love greens, but I needed a sandwich FAST. Enter Middle Child who has homemade gluten free bread from a local baker and a VERY knowledgeable staff about gluten allergies. VERY knowledgeable. Even in an airport, with allergies they clean the griddle and change their gloves, and they don't complain about it! EVERYONE understood the assignment, and I felt very safe eating here. Let's talk sandwich. I got the Shopsin Club on GF bread, and when I say I devoured it, that is the classy way of saying I housed that sandwich FAST. I don't even know if I took a breath TBH. The freshness of every bite hits hard. Homemade pickles that have a great crunch and my favorite vinegar bite, a cranberry miso that was lovely without tasting heavy or greasy, HUGE pieces of avocado and a CHUNK of turkey. I have been sitting here for 15 minutes considering getting another one because it was truly that good. It just tasted so fresh and I felt just so light after eating it. I was able to go on my next flight not worrying about food sitting in my tummy or a tummy ache. Even the bread was perfectly crispy and not even a little bit broke off when eating it. The bread holding up to the sandwich was impressive, and that CRUNCH. YES!!! All on such a friendly, kind staff who checked in on me and asked me how I liked the food and made me smile and laugh after a very long day was greatly appreciated, and in an airport where everyone is always on the move, it was nice to stop and have a friendly eating experience. Next time I'm here I will 100% stop by again, and I will rave about them any time I can! I'm sure their other locations are just as great too!

I asked her, why it was more than $8.99 and she indicated it was for tax. The receipt indicated 29 cent fee for employee benefits. I asked for the fee to be refunded and the employee refused, pointing to a sign indicating the fee. The sign was hidden in a crevice in front of the cash register, and she had to pull it out. Furthermore, the 3% was applied to the sales tax as well as the purchase price. (3% of $8.99 would be 27 cents, not 29 cents. This is probably why the final total was hand-entered, to get around a software limitation of some sort.) I'm not so concerned about the amount of the fee, but the way it was presented was deceptive. The payment terminal should allow a full breakdown of the amount charged prior to payment, or the employee should at least clearly answer, when asked, that the total includes taxes and fees, but only taxes. As for the food itself, this is probably the best place in Terminal D to get fresh fruit to go, hence two stars rather than one.

My order was taken and delivered perfectly to go. You can eat in as well the place is very clean with many seats and a television. I ordered brioche french toast and creamed chipped beef. All of the food was packed to go in styrofoam containers which made me a little nervous. I drove home about 15 minutes away to be pleasantly surprised, my french toast was still warm, firm, the perfect width and thickness. The french toast was made with 'real' brioche bread and clearly had the taste of the egg batter with cinnamon and vanilla. They added blueberries and strawberries with ample syrup and butter. As for the chipped cream beef my mother was totally happy with it she said, it was cooked perfectly and it was enough for two people. This should make the produce workers very happy. My suggestion, if you are buying bulk produce or willing to pay $3 to park the food is good and a very fair price. You can also park on the street and walk the equivalent of 3 blocks. The total price for the order of 2 very large slices of french toast with berries and chipped cream beef with tax, $13.93. Will I go again although I have to pay $3 to park? Probably...
