Either of us had the salad bar with our meal, but I've had it before, and it is fresh with a large selection. My daughter chose the appetizer tray and I chose the fish and chips, which also had a small container of Cole slaw included. Both of us enjoyed our meal and I had two pieces of the fish (pollock) left to bring home. Our server was attentive even though she had several parties to serve. The decor could use a little sprucing up.......very dark unless you sit in a booth by the windows. I'll go back again for dinner. Went there. Two weeks ago was not very impressed. The place is dirty salad bar had salad all around the outside and on the carpet in front of where we were walking. We had to put three dishes to the side that were dirty and we will not go back until things improve. We will wait till we hear from others. read more

Let me preface by saying I have been to this RT many times and it's usually ok and get decent service. Went tonight with my wife and got the special as advertised. $10.99 for a 6oz sirloin steak or $11.99 for a Prime Rib and baked potato. Wish I had taken a picture of it but unfortunately I didn't. What came out was a breakfast stake and not a very good one either. It was paper thin. My server was a young woman who really didn't seem to interested in helping either. She seemed more concerned with the conversation at the empty bar with another server and the bartender than making sure I was being taken care of. Didn't offer a desert or ask if we wanted more drinks. I felt like I was more of a pest being there than a paying customer. When she finally did show up at my table I told her that my stake was not a Prime Rib. She went to get the manager and about 10min later came back and told me the manager said it was a Prime Rib...lol. The manager could not be bothered to stop at my table. They comped the meal so I guess that's standard procedure. I didn't expect a great big stake to begin with but it's all over your blackboard where your specials are written so at least make the attempt to have a great "special". I was in the mood for a salad and my coworker suggested RT. I ordered a salad and substituted the fried chicken for grilled chicken. My lettuce was wilted and brown, the avocado was browning and the chicken breast was under seasoned and undercooked. This mess of a salad killed my appetite and I wasted $14. Went here for dinner last night as my husband was sent a coupon for a free birthday burger. He had the Triple Prime Havarti Burger, and I had the Three Cheese. We customized them a bit...mine sans tomato and extra pickles, hubby's with a slice of onion. Both with fries, both had the salad bar. Just too good! My husband's salmon was good, and so was the cheesecake, but my spare ribs were very disappointing. I had to rip them apart with force, forget about them falling off the bone. Ruby Tuesdays, Vero Beach. Let me start by saying that I DON'T want to get anyone in trouble. This is just a plea to please do better. Whether it be scheduling, short staff, insuffiecient training, whatever. When leaving, I asked for the name of their manager, and was told that Kelly is the GeneraI Manager, and Rob is the Assistant General Manager, so this review is directed to them. This was my "go to" restaurant during Covid, providing meals at least several times a month, and I'd like to see it return to prior efficiency. My issue: I placed a "to go" order at Ruby Tuesdays in Vero Beach on 11/27/23 and was told it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. With Christmas gifts in hand, waiting in a very long check out line, I realized there wasn't enough time to wait. My gifts were returned to the shelves and I quickly left to pick up food. Arrival time, 18 minutes, in between the 15-20 minutes projected pick up time. Then the additional wait time was an ADDITIONAL 45-50 minutes. Unacceptable! Had I known this beforehand, my retail shopping would have been completed before leaving to pick up food. The bar was full, but I couldn't see anyone seated at tables, thus relatively little food being prepared for diners. I did ask the bartender to check on my order a couple of times, just to make sure it wasn't sitting somewhere getting cold. The order - two identical meals, cooked identically. Steak, 1/2 rack of ribs and a baked potato. That order shouldn't have taken over an hour. I believe the regular kitchen staff had gone home for the day, perhaps because it was 7:30 pm. This left a "new guy" and I think maybe a shift manager in the kitchen. Now? Would I order again? Maybe, but I'd think long and hard first! read more

Pros: Our meal was fine. Husband had steak, I had a grilled chicken sandwich, which were pretty good. We both got the salad bar as well and it was just ok. Not anywhere near the higher standard of other Ruby Tuesdays we've visited. Cons: The overall feel of the whole place was grimy and unkept. Nothing seemed completely clean. The only reason we stayed was because we were hungry and ready to eat. Staff was not attentive. Everything was just sub-par, below average. Definitely a different menu post pandemic. The menu now is more like Chili's or Applebee's. I always like going in their pre-pandemic and sitting down to where I felt it was a real meal. I specifically came here an early dinner because I found an unused gift card purchased years ago. I appreciate that the gift card did not expire and it was accepted without issue. We ordered the ribs and the pulled pork. The pork was a bit messed and the taste was mediocre. The sauce on the ribs was decent and the meat was tender. The service was attentive until it was time to pay. Somehow we could not get our server's attention when we wanted the check. When we finally flagged her down, she quickly processed our check and the gift card was swiped with no issue. I would not eat food from the buffet as I noticed adults and kids touching the buffet serving utensils without them being sanitized. The decor seemed a bit outdated and some of the wall wood paneling was worn on the edges. read more
