I got this yesterday for a treat for myself because I passed my realtors exam. I got bbq pork chops with yams, mash potatoes and dressing. I'm not even sure why I got it BBQed I'm not really a fan of BBQ but I'm glad I did. Easily best BBQ sauce I have ever had. I legit started to think the CIA is funding this because of how delicious it was. Not to mention they wrapped the boxes in saran wrap to help protect against DoorDash drivers from munchin on the food. I appreciate that as more than once I've had my food munched. ANNNDD, they give you a roll of cornbread. Insane. 23 bucks. In my opinion, I think they should up their prices. Could not have been a better pick to celebrate the passing of my realtors exam. So when I discovered there was a new soul food restaurant near my home in Toledo, I absolutely had to check it out. And by checking it out, I invited 10 friends over to my house and ordered everything on the menu. Boy oh boy was it good AND reasonably priced! The ribs were great! The fish was great! The meatloaf was great! Everything was great and from order to delivery, it showed up at my house in under 30 minutes. I highly recommend Elsie's kitchen and wish them much success. We got a couple versions of the soul rolls which are egg rolls with different items inside. We got the Philly cheesesteak roll, buffalo chicken, jerk chicken. Also tried burgers and chilli cheese fries. They really need to upgrade their to go containers. The prices are inflated when using Doordash so use it to upgrade your to go. They are using the cheap styrofoam containers and you have egg roll type items so guess what happens when you get them? You get soggy egg rolls. Especially the jerk and buffalo chicken. They put the jerk and buffalo sauce on the outside of the Roll so it's just a soggy mess that honestly I got tired of fooling with it. Should be able to pick up n eat an eggroll. The flavor and everything was okay but the point of getting an egg roll is to have that crunchy type taste right?. The burger was well done with no options to remove onions or other items you don't like. It had zero flavor to me. The best thing that I had was the chili cheese fries and I don't particularly like chili but it was after midnight so post bar food. I think if they upgrade their to-go containers the rolls could be a highlight but for right now I'm cool on ordering from them.

There was enough stuff on it that I really didn't miss having a dressing (I do like oil and vinegar - but again, wouldn't get that on an order being delivered in). Was the salad the best ever?
